Diabolical service. Only half the order arrived and it was late. Pointless frustrating waste of time trying to chase it up and sort it out.avoid this service.wish I had read the online reviews for bad online service before I clicked on the order button!

Don't shop at Debenhams on line. I can't get out of the house much now due to disability so sale bargains have to be found on line. After much searching I found exactly what I wanted and paid for 24 hour delivery. Only to Debenhams 24 hour delivery does not necessarily mean 24 hours. Two days later I still have no goods to show for what I paid. I do have 2 expensive phone calls to the so called 'helpline' who obviously don't practice what they should as it the last thing they are - helpful. If you ever find 2 similar products, do yourself a favour and don't get the one from Debenhams unless you don't mind rude staff and very delayed deliveries.

I'm never ever going to deal with this company ever again!!! I purchased a 50mm telescope via eBay they was also the same on their main website and they sent me a 30mm telephone with a totally different look I emailed them they admitted it was a fault and they would fix it and they could offer a refund but all I wanted was an exchange for what I paid for this was refused to me I had a consumer contract with this company and they falsely advertised and blind sighted me !!!! So wrong !!!

They refused to resend a replacement for losing my order in the delivery process. Was not offered any compensation for this failure of service. On top of this the communication was robotic and disinterested. A decent remedy would have been to refund and resend but they couldn't care less. I would strongly avoid if you don't like being treated like a number.

Very disappointed my debenhams bull ring. I placed an order for 3 elemis items and received my order in 2 boxs. I returned 1 item to store. I am very unhappy as it took nearly 40 minutes as I had to go to 3 tills as I was refused service. I was told I needed to bring the 3 other items to store even though they were not being returned. I am 9 months pregnant so this would have been stressful and point less. I am very upset as I was told the manager would call me 1 month ago. I am still waiting. Great service !!!!!

Not happy Debenams selling clarks shoes thats on sale for less than half price!! in the all clarks stores while these only give 10% the exact shoe..

Went to Westwood Cross Debenhams today, used the coffee shop very very bad service. We got served very fast, however at 2.59pm there was very little snacks etc on sale, we opted for the afternoon special a slice of cake and a coffee, which to be fair was great. However the young lady who served us was very nice but the poor girl served us then had to rush to the tiil to take our money, there were several people behind us all waiting to be served. When we sat down I noticed there were 7 tables full of used crockery and no attempt made to clear these, customers were picking these up and moving them to clear a table for themselves. We noted at 3.10 customers were asking for the cake/tea offer and they were sold out, so that left very little choice for food. The result of all this was lost sales for the store and upset customers. I see that you require my e mail address, this is out order at this present time

Shocking customer service. Defective laptop received. Reported problem in first fortnight of use. Mucked around with software fixes over the phone for first month. Eventually they took laptop back and have diagnosed hardware problem. They will not refund, replace or part ex defective laptop. Am therefore still awaiting remedy to original defective laptop 4 months on . DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! Truly awful experience. Probably one for Watchdog..........

1) This company is not associated to Debenhams , although they try to infer they are. 2) Ordered an item and then cancelled within 24 hours, they ignored the cancellation and posted out 36 hours later after cancellation. 3) Refused delivery and informed Debenhamsplus and couriers. 4) Contacted couriers and they confirmed return date to Debenhamsplus. 5) Contacted Debenhamsplus who responded when item is returned they will process my refund, I informed them it was returned to themselves 8 days previous. 6) I am still awaiting a response/refund. I cannot recommend this company because of their inefficiency

I ORDERED 10 ITEMS ONLINE ON 6TH DECEMBER AND THE MONEY FOR THIS ORDER WAS DULY TAKEN FROM MY BANK. I AM STILL WAITING FOR 5 OF THISE ITEMS AND NO ONE KNOWS WHAT IS GOING ON, I HAVE SPOKEN TO 7 CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS AND HAVE ASKED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER BUT THERE IS NEVER ONE AVAILABLE AND HAVE BEEN PROMISED A CALL BACK WITHIN 24 HOURS ON A FEW OCCASIONS AND HAVE NEVER GOT ONE. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING SERVICE. I HAVE NOW CONTACTED THE HEAD OFFICE IN LONDON AND THEY ARE LOOKING INTO IT. THESE WERE XMAS PRESENTS TO BE DELIVERED TO MY PLACE OF WORK AS I AM THERE ALL DAY. I AM STUNNED THAT A BIG ORGANISATION LIKE THIS CANNOT TELL ME WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH THE MISSING ITEMS. IF I DO NOT GET THEM BY END OF PLAY TOMORROW WHEN I FINISH WORK FOR XMAS I WANT MY MONEY BACK

Absolutely shocking!!!!! Worst shop worst delivery system think there courier service is stealing our orders as they always seem to get lost in transit!!! This shop should be shut down!!!! My father now has no Xmas present!! And now will be bear foot around the dinner table!!

Paid for next day delivery. BEWARE! You are unlikely to receive your order but you will be charged the delivery fee, regardless. Very clever scam. Well done Debenhams, your scamming techniques are perfect.

I ordered the new iPad for my son for Christmas on the 11th November & was told not in stock till the 9th December which was fine. On 26th November got an email saying no longer available even though its new design. Said they would contact me! 7th December I rang & was offered another colour & fast delivery food morning next day. Waited all day, 3 phone calls later nothing. Today told delivered to a neighbour who doesn't exist & no card through the door. 3 more phone calks to be tolkd need to talk to the driver so won't know till tomorrow!! For goodness sake this is robbery & I want my flaming order.

Returned an item for £75.00 to debenhams in leicester which was refunded back to my credit card. When I got home realised that the young lad had placed the item back in my bag as I had made another purchase. Took it back to debs today as didn't want the lad to get into trouble. All the money they are going to make over Xmas and didn't even get a £5.00 voucher!

I got an email and text saying my click and collect order as ready for collection my chosen store - Harrow. I went into the store only to be told the shelf number given for my order was invalid and they weren't prepared to look for my order even though it was in the building and the reason they couldn't find it was due to an error on their part. I was told someone would call me when they had time to find my item. This was at 1pm on Saturday. Its now 6pm on Monday and I have not heard anything. I called customer service to complain and was told someone would ring me back once they had spoken to someone in the store, they haven't bothered to call back either. I'm so frustrated - they have something I have paid for and wont give it to me. DO NOT SHOP HERE. THE STAFF AND RUDE AND INCOMPETENT- CHOSE JOHN LEWIS OR HOUSE OF FRASER IF YOU WANT A DECENT DEPARTMENT STORE

Beware Debenhams online! - Items not as descriptions i.e colour and sizes - Packing terrible items crushed cause had been forced into one box instead of packed separately - Call center staff incompetent and not very sharp! deliveries arranged for the wrong date, items not collected as promised etc overall disappointing from start to finish!!

I can't even use Debenhams website because it tells me I need to upgrade my browser! I would have thought IE10 was modern enough, but apparently not. Debenhams is the only website I know of that blocks my browser.

Having ordered a laptop and carry sleeve from Debenhams Plus, I received a printer in their place. I contacted Debenhams Plus and spoke to a lady who apologised for the error and advised me to send the printer back. I then received a message an hour later to request I take photos of the printer as Debenhams had definitely 'not made an errors'. I took the photos as requested and asked for an email address to send them to. I heard nothing for 3 days and so returned the printer. This almost 1 month ago. I've now been made aware that Debenhams Plus is actually a company called Buy It Direct who trade under the Debenhams name. They've tried to blame couriers, other retailers and have even claimed that the printer I received isn't sold by Debenhams Plus (Buy It Direct) only for me to find it listed on their website DURING my phone call with customer services. I'm now very concerned of whether I'll ever receive my laptop or be refunded, as the company seem hell bent on passing the buck to whoever they possibly can. As a customer, I can't warn people quite strongly enough of the dangers of dealing with this company. I will add that everyone I've spoken to has been very polite and attempted to help, but their hands are obviously tied as so far we're a month in and have received zero resolution. Over the years I must have spent thousands of pounds in Debenhams and have never had a single issue. I would warn Debenhams that allowing an unproven company to trade on your well established and respected name like this is an almost guaranteed way to send your customers to your competitors.
