Ordered a tent and it never showed up. I called customer services to cancel the order and was assured that the money would be refunded to my account but had to call a second time a week later to actually get the refund actioned. This was my first experience of using Decathlon online ad normally get on well when shopping in store so the experience was a little disappointing

Bike came a week late and with broken packaging. Wasn't happy with the delivery time not impressed.

Poor overall experience- delivery was delayed, staff didn't seem to know what was going on with it, when it finally arrived I had to wait in store whilst a member of staff finished his personal/social conversation with another staff member before deciding to help. Product quality and price are the only redeeming features of Decathlon.

Wasn't able to log in and ended up having to phone which was a bind. However was helped by a very friendly young man. Not enough detail from the goods I bought and the size was too big! It would be good to have more info on the product i.e. the elastic waste had no cord to adjust it, so I had to make it myself!

Bought a fishing rod . Shimano .carbon. it broke aper 10 casts . Never again to buy something like this from this shop . Sorry

I was really disappointed with the quality of all 3 of the items I purchased from Decathlon. I returned 2 of the items because they were unsuitable, and the returns process was relatively straightforward. I was happy to have received my refund quite quickly. The most disappointing item was the Yoga Mat. It was really poor quality. I took it to my Yoga class and couldn't use it because it was far too thin with no grip or resistance - It was just a foam mat - really disappointed. Now I can't return the item because I have used it, but I can't say I'd order from Decathlon again.

Originally my product was faulty. I rung decathlon and received excellent promises that it would be picked up and a new one delivered. The pick up was fine but after that everything was rubbish. I was promised lots of call backs by customer services to resolve the slow delivery of my item but no one rung back. I had to keep calling every few days... very frustrating. Part of the problem may have been with the courier service they were using to deliver the itenm but the communication and overall experience was poor. It took 3 weeks to get a replacement. I am now happy with a working cross trainer but I had to cancel holiday plans to take deliveries that never arrived twice. I hope this helps.

Despite phoning in advance to ask you to save my click & collect order for just one extra day as I was ill (which the staff member said he would do) when I arrived at 9am my order had already been returned to the warehouse apparently at 7am that morning. The staff member who served me was not helpful or particularly interested especially as I had to go to the back of the store to even find anyone to serve me at the tills. There were no staff available at the tills at 9am as they were all at the back of the store having a chat. Generally staff are unwelcoming, unhelpful and unfriendly & appear untrained in customer service & store procedures. As a new store I find this surprising and extremely disappointing.

The biggest problem with Decathlon is their website. It used to be possible to check if an item was in stock at my local store. This facility has been withdrawn. Twice I have ordered goods online, to collect in store. Both times I have had at least one item needing to be returned. The second time, the website said I would have to post goods back at my expense. I donated the item to a charity shop instead! Very poor.

First up - great products and great prices, if it was just based on this they would have 5* However - Decathlon simply don't know how to stock a store, most of the time I have to wander around with the website on my phone to work out how much items cost because they either have no tickets on display or are strewn across the floor or just placed in the wrong areas, this wouldnt be so bad apart from the fact that prices differ between the website and store and both seem to have their own offers and sales. Staff are mostly ignorant of customers, particularly when waiting to collect from the internet pickup but are pleasant when you actually speak to them. Great concept and approach, badly implemented.

Visited the Decathlon in Tours, France (Loire) to buy the larger size/format of Camping Gaz butane. Simply assumed they would stock it and had driven some long distance to visit this shop. But was told they do not stock it - only the small cartridge sizes. I like Decathlon as a shop but this was a big fail.

I took them around 2 weeks to get my order to me, in that time there was twice that they emailed me to say that an item was out of stock and I would have to get back to them before shipping. I had ordered stuff for going on holiday and it was nearly late in getting here. 1 day before I went. Wont use again as a shambles of an operation!!!

Was disappointed to wait for a week before the order arrived. Generally pleased with the products for the money, except that one pair of shorts have come apart at the seams after one wash.

One order made. For some reason sent over two boxes and they arrived on different days. This caused problems as no one was there to sign.

Online - the website is really difficult, it';s not very good to browse and find things and its not very good to buy from. It's a really poor effort for such a large company. The website got stuck several times when I was trying to order and I had to re-enter my details several times Delivery was very good and on time.

we purchased a bicycle which was advertised and stated to be delivered the next day. there were numerous issues and delays with the courier company and lack of Decathlon involvement in following up with the matter, it was not delivered until 4 days later whether or not the courier company is the supplier of choice for decathlon, as a paying customer I should not be expected to chase decathlon's supplier for a purchase I made with Decathlon. I have purchase many items with Decathlon previously, and i believe Decathlon sells excellent quality bikes.. would I purchase again? I don't know... very hesitant

The website is broken in many places, which required quite a few attempts to actually buy something. In store it's a great experience, but online is a big let down. The mobile experience is even worse :(
