I have a new Dell laptop and the USBc port has stopped working three times. The second time they replaced the motherboard and a week later the problem is back. Customer service is horrendous. They dont know what they are doing and do not follow up with me about repair status. I am never buying a Dell product again.

I loved my Dell computer & thought it was the best brand to get. I had issues with the charging port, the computer would be plugged in but 'not charging'. I tried everything -making sure there was no dust in it, making sure it was in securely. Finally I gave up & bought another Dell. Another mistake. This one was over $800 & after 2 yrs, the charging port isn't working. I took it to a computer repair, pd over $125 for a new port but STILL the plug isn't connecting & every 2 minutes a message comes up saying the "adapter isn't recognized." That's what it said BEFORE I got the port replaced, so I wasted money trying to fix it & keep my dell. I'm going out this weekend & buying a new computer that IS NOT a DELL. It's just not worth the price when their charging port stops working before using the computer for a few yrs. I got the best of everything in it, but if it won't charge, it's just not worth it.

I purchased refurbished laptop from Dell Latitude 5490. When I start to add my details and connect to the internet. Few minutes later, it switched it self off. When I restarted it again, the screen showed, your "Device needs to be repaired, files either corrupted or missing". Next day, I contacted Dell team, technical staff, retail team. I made 9 long phone calls and send 27 emails over 6 weeks trying to fix the problem. However, I never receive any constructive advice except very trivial naïve advice sent by e-mail such as press F11 key!!!. At the end I spoke to customer service and got told this laptop is 5 years old and no history of refurbishment. I feel extremely annoyed and realized what is Dell and Dell team like. I paid £321.60 for 15 minutes Dell laptop. I sincerely hope one of the managerial team see this and allow me to either to replace, or return or the least to repair. It is experience indeed. Thanks Dell I concluded that, the refurbished laptop I purchased (£321.60)from Dell has no value at all and Dell team skills is not up to standard. It was waste of money, effort and time.

We will never purchase another product from this company. My son saved for over ayear to purchase a gaming computer and it came with a 12 month warranty ($3,500.00). At 13 months, it died. DEAD, nothing he can do to fix it. Dell customer support told him they could not help him and that he could buy some support information. Are you kidding me?! Buy? You sold a $3,500.00 computer and at 13 months you offer no advise, no support until my son pays you?! You are the lowest of lows when it comes to customer service and support. You are a disgrace to deal with and your products are substandard - which is why you don't stand behind them.

Dell has a custom-make XPS desktop page on their website. Just a week ago, they were offering an option of an AMD card, which now isn't there and also a Blu-Ray drive option instead of the dvd drive. I asked through the question portal why the AMD graphics card wasn't available for the XPS. I was told that they don't have an AMD option and don't know if they will. I called to see about getting the blu-ray optical drive, and I was told there was no Blu-Ray drive as an option. I asked if I could by a separate Blu-Ray drive and install that in place of the dvd drive and was told that was OK. I'm waiting for my computer, for about a week, so I asked what the dimensions of the dvd drive is, so I can replace it with a compatible Blu-Ray drive of the same size and connections. My salesperson was conveniently out of the office, and left 2 emails to try instead, I ended up with 4 more email addresses, of people that either blew me off by giving me yet 'more' emails to try. One of the people asked me if I could wait until 'tomorrow' for him to answer his questions. I wrote back 'OK' and sent it, but then I realized he had near the bottom of his email that he 'would be out the next two days'. Obviously you're not going to be able to respond my email "tomorrow" if you're going to be out the next two days. My 'salesperson' was back today, and he said If I had any questions to let him know. I asked him to answer the questions I had asked, which at this point also had a question about if replacing the dvd drive with the blu-ray drive would void the warranty. His next email said he would check with someone about the dimension of the dvd drive, but that I would have to call tech support about the warranty. I called tech support, and they told me only customer service could tell me about the warranty, and they're only open Mon.-Fri. If I get answers to any questions and if I receive my computer, I will post an update as to what went right (if anything) or anything that went wrong. All the people I spoke to were outsourced to India or Pakistan, which means they will probably not be liable for any of the issues I'm experiencing. The questions below don't allow the answers I need to relay. I communicated with the company by Telephone *and* Email, and replies came anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 days.

Just got electrocuted by negligently made laptop charger by Dell. Pulled out cord but adapter broke. Bare metal contacts exposed and I touched accidentally and got a DC mains shock which tripped a fuse and lights went out. Reporting to HSE and trading standards. And taking legal action against Dell. Negligently poorly made dangerous products.

No spares for warranty items. Do not buy from Dell this Black Friday or any other time, they have no spares for faulty products. I purchased a laptop last November, the screen was damaged in February, 10 months later I am told after repeated contacts that a replacement will be months before they have a part. Avoid all at all cost.

had the worst experience buying the DELL product (New 30 Rotation LAPTOP) on the recommendation. It was a faulty technology. The Rotation 360 angle doesn't work properly. You turn around, and when you bring it back close the flip. It doesn't come back balanced from both sides and the screen cracked. It's a manufacturing fault and they are in DENIAL with the claim that their technology can not be wrong. Maybe tomorrow the DELL may CLAIM as GOD (Can never be wrong) Dell's after-sales are the worst customer service. Rather than taking responsibility, they put the blame on the customer and then in a way start giving you notices with the Solution of PAID repairing (With deadlines), felt like Putting customers on NOTICE. Completely non-professional behaviour of DELL staff on behalf of DELL. Hope that won't be the policies of DELL. NEVER BUY DELL PRODUCTS (Won't recommend) They ripping off people. Money does not grow on TREES. SHAME

By carrying Great Accessories! MY REVIEW: Alurateks 4KHD Webcam 5x Digital Zoom & Dual Stereo Noise Cancelling Mics. – Purchased through Dell accessories I love this Camera!!! I give it 5 stars!!! I had initially purchased another webcam but it was not compatible with my new OS unit –so I used it on my old unit. But THIS camera…OMG it is so cool. You can see the HD difference with the click of a button and it has its own “camera shield” for privacy, mounts super easy and stable on the monitor with all kinds of angles available. It can also be used on my light ring easel and other easels…and it also has a wonderful noise cancelling microphone that really cancelled my background landscaper noise! Wow!!! I am so happy I bought this Aluratek Camera and highly recommend it.

Anyway, I Tried calling, and other methods of contacting dell. But my god it's like trying to talk to a Brick. the whole team are useless. after Bad to worse communication, i asked for a refund. Over a Month and still waiting. Dell are an absolute joke. I have never had such a bad experience with any company before.

I have bought computers from Dell for many years and while normally their computers are very reliable and their customer service is very good sadly that hasn't been the case on this last computer (laptop) I bought. I bought the computer in July for an August birthday present for my wife. When we finally opened it in August the display didn't work. I called their service that night and they troubleshot the problem and identified a cable needed to be re-installed. However, I didn't want to a repaired computer after all it was a brand new computer. Dell would not do a replacement because it was past 30 days since purchase. We had to settle for a repair, which Dell did. However a few days later my wife noticed that the USB port on the left side of the computer wasn't working. After hours of troubleshooting, they determined it was a motherboard, so once again our brand-new computer was being ripped apart to install a motherboard. After waiting weeks for the board, the tech came out and replaced the board only to leave the computer completely non-functioning because the motherboard they sent was defective and instead of installing the original motherboard that was at least allowing the computer to work the tech left the non working one in and now the computer doesn't work at all and now they are telling us they can't get the part.

I have an all in one Inspiron that I've had nothing but trouble with using the headphone jack. I've performed about a dozen trouble shooting steps suggested by the Dell support techs with no permanent solution. The only way I can get sound back through my headphones if I unplug them is to download an audio driver that was sent to me. You have to uninstall the current driver first though. It is a serious pain in the butt. If you search the internet you'll see this is a very common problem yet Dell has no answer. Just let me say this is first first and last Dell computer. If you plan on using headphones you most likely want something other than a Dell.

For two days, I have tried to purchase an Alienware laptop, and a Netgear router for my daughter as a reward she earned. I have not been lied to misled and disrespected as much as I was by Dowell in the past 12 hours of dealing with them. They charged my Visa debit card for $2756.04, and then they charged my MasterCard for $2756.04. They deny that they charged my debit card even though I bank official phone them provided them with the transaction number provided them with a picture of the fee. But because she wanted an Alienware I persisted and did order one with the full knowledge that it had to be here before the 21st, I was promised confirmed that it would be. A few hours later I got a sheep’s phone call from one of the attendance telling me he had sent me the confirmation. I asked if it was the same confirmation that he had given me for hours earlier, and all I got was a bunch of mumbling . When I checked the latest confirmation, they had switched the delivery date from the 21st to the 24th and try to sneak it by me. I cannot believe that dell and Alienware has deteriorated to such deplorable treatment of customers and they need to steal their money so anyone reading this please take heed . This is not the company that Michael Dell built it on.

I bought a Dell computer just over a year ago. I have had nothing but trouble since I set it up. I have a laptop that I use most of the time but when I need to use two screens, I use the dell desktop. It has always been very slow. This is my first and last Dell. I bought the dell computer because I have a business and they are supposed to be business computers. The computer crashed and all of my documents with it. But I had all of my files backed up. Otherwise, I would have been in serious trouble. The computer eventually powered on and it was back to the factory settings. Thats ok, I know how to install the apps I need. Jokes on me! I cannot download any of the apps that I need. The computer says they are installed but I can't find them. I'm not talking about apps to develop a nuclear bomb. I'm talking about Microsoft office, etc. Now the start menu does not work. I can't type anything into the search screen on the task bar and no the keyboard is not broken because I am typing this with the same keyboard. I have always used HP, I will continue to use HP. Nothing but a piece of junk.

We have a Dell monitor, which had a problem with the display, which we complained to the Dell company's customer service center on September 26,case no-152458585, since then till 07 October, we were being tricked by their customer information officers, any information which has given, was not in a proper way. today 07 October 2022 suddenly they has told to us that we cannot repair your system. The coustomer system here is very wasteful, shoddy and costly. Neither any emotion is given to the words of our customers, nor is it given such an answer which gives a pleasant feeling in the soul. We are fed up with this arrangement.

Dell laptops are the worst and never worth the money... They have the best customer service, however; I had no other chance than to talk here about my horrible Dell experience since 2021. Briefly, I bought an Inspiron in October 2021 as my old Mac was obsolete. Then in 1 month of course after the return warranty ends the Caps Lock began to be dysfunctional (the light keeps on and doesn't turn off until you restart the PC). I had 2 keyboard changes and then the screen went dysfunctional... The people from customer service were helpful and took the laptop back and refunded me... I had to get a new one and unfortunately, upon lame friend advice, I got XPS which was said to be the best... I got it without any discount and paid almost double what I paid in October 2021. I received the laptop end of March 2022 and again the same issue began 4 weeks later again 3 keyboard replacements then the motherboard then finally took it and sent me A REFURBISHED ONE... that again now in less than a month had the same dysfunctional... Interestingly enough I got my nephew a gaming DELL 15 laptop that had the same DYSFUNCTION... SO PEOPLE DON'T GET DELL EVER AGAIN. I wish I got to find a good Laptop anywhere away from this LAME DELL. I have email proof for all this by the way and receipts.
