Dell is HORRIBLE!! I've never encountered such a terrible company. They used to be good, but NOT anymore. I made the mistake of buying one of their laptops. Their operating system would not allow me to use the video conferencing website that was the entire reason I needed the computer. That would have been bad enough, but trying to work with their tech support was a FLAMING NIGHTMARE!! I had to call back 10 times-literally!! I actually documented it. They kept disconnecting me. On my tenth call, charged me $138 for a "one time fix". If I had gotten their "premium warranty" it would have been an addition $250 dollars. TO FIX THE OPERATING SYSTEM THAT THEY DOWNLOADED ON THE COMPUTER IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!! Unbelievable. If anyone wants to file a class action lawsuit, sign me up!

Customer service is atrocious. For a Hot Shot Silicon Valley Whiz Bang, Michael Dell in the top 1% wealth bracket, WOW!!! not impressed! Just wanted to buy a 45 watt Adaptor cord for my laptop online but the website is sooooo incredibly user-unfriendly that it looks like this simple transaction is an impossibility! I am writing a book and also found out that my Dell printer is now 'obsolete'!!! and printer cartridges no longer manufactured!!! Thanks, gazillionaire, Michael Dell for making my life with technology such a blissful dream / NOT!!!!!! Thank Mother God that I will be emailing my completed book to publishers and don't have to depend on undependable DELL!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!

If I could leave a zero star review I would. Trying to call to factory reset the computer, as the computer belongs to a previous employee. However, for some reason it won’t reset and I just keep being told to call back at a better time for them.

I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER DELL PRODUCT!!! I have spent at least 4 hours of my time on the phone, had a technician sent 3 x and waiting now for a replacement computer for an Inspiron 3580 less than 6 months old!! My college student has been without for over a month already and it may be as much as another week before new computer arrives. The customer is not priority as Dell likes to try and have their customer diagnose and repair their crappy product over the phone (spent 3 hours of my time). They are unable to understand that the customer = business, bad customer service, bad product, will = no business!!! If I could give you less than a 1 I would!!!!

The man on the other end was very patient with me. He was very kind. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because their automated system originally connected me to the wrong department and had me on hold for an extra 15 minutes or so.

Worst customer service. I upgraded my warranty last month, but i noticed that it is under the wrong service tag. I called the and asked them to canceled my order and remove the service tag. After 6 hours talking to them, finally i received the cancellation email regarding my warranty. They said they removed the wrong service tag. I waited for a week and i received an email from my bank that i have been charged again for something i didnot ask for. I checked my dell account and i saw i still have the wrong service tag in my account and the charge is under that. So i called them again, they had no idea what it is. After 7 hours talking to them, they couldnot remove the wrong service tag from my account and they just referred me to another department. So, they couldnot fix what they did wrong and i still have a next bill under the wrong tag in my dell account. The worst experience, and worst customer/support service EVER!

Yes, You guys did replace the motherboard; however the wireless network adapter is not working after that. I asked for a full inspection, and Dell never do it. I have to pay to repair the internet wireless card myself. I still have the DELL FACTORY WARRANTY UNTIL NEXT YEAR. I did ask to send in the DELL LAPTOP for inspection. DELL representative replied, my DELL WARRANTY is ONLY ONSITE WARRANTY.

I bought my first laptop with one month warranty. Laptop is good! Then another laptop and keyboard but returned them and after one month got my refund. I wanted to unsubscribe my warranty but Dell has terrible website and I couldn't. I told three different persons in costumer service that cancel my warranty.! But still Dell is charging me. Had to block Dell from my credit card!

All I can say is COMPLETE FRUSTRATION! Purchased 2 all in ones for our business in December and both have had issues. 3rd repair man out today to fix the screen on one and installs a cracked screen and computer will not work. Yesterdays repair on the other computer also was not repaired properly and that repair man left us without a working computer as well and did not share the info before he left! (we were covered in customers). Trying to get help has been a joke calling and holding and holding trying to get someone who could help! I don't even know what to say anymore! We have spent money and lost time with all this! DELL HELP YOUR CUSTOMERS, WE HAVE SPENT $8000 WITH YOU IN THE LAST YEAR!!

refurbished are junk failed 1 month had tech come out said it was fixed $175.00 1 week later tech took computer after failing again wants new hard to get computer working again now way over cost of buying new unit

At the enterprise level, why doesnt Dell indemnify their customers any longer? Looking at the latest terms, the CUSTOMER indemnifies Dell.

2.5 hours later and I still CAN NOT buy 2 Dell workstations. Worst customer service and sales reps EVER. How their stock is at $42 I have no idea unless their customers our international and to stupid to know better.

Non existent customer service. They are a joke and deserve to go out of business. I purchased 75" TV and it was damaged! The damage was hard to see until it was hung! They are not Amazon for sure! That is why they will be gone! I have an 800$ piece of trash!

Bought 2 laptops directly from DELL. Didn't know there were manufacturing defects after 9 months of frustrated usage. What a disappointment the total lack of quality control at Dell factory in Penang. Dell changed 2 hard-drives for me; but one month later, the batteries faculty. One problem after another. It's so grating. Dell doesn't understand how to handle my case. Now my warranty expired and I have no recourse. So I appealed to Dell to give me 2 new sets as replacements. To be fair, Dell should offer 2 new sets of laptops as replacement for me. They refused. Now my warranty is out; and my family is about to throw away the Dell laptops. Sorry, I will never use DELL for the rest of my life.

I was sent a defective machine right out of the box and Dell customer service refuses to help me. My last attempt at help was today.... was passed around on the phone and told the same excuse after another and said there would be a charge if I wanted their help. I have been loyal to Dell for over 30 years until today. The computers have slowly been going downhill and their customer service is in India and those people could care freaking less. They don't want to work with you, they don't have to work with you and they literally do not care. I will never spend another Penny on a Dell machine ever. If you want to experience 80s and 90s style defective computer crashing multiple blue screens and error messages buy a Dell!!!....go back in time and see what it was like in the old days!!!!!!

Do Not Buy Dell!! I cannot believe how bad the laptop itself and the customer service is. I’m certain the laptop I bought (one of the more expensive ones) is shoddy. I’ve had problem after problem. In the first week of buying the finger sensor stopped working and then it just wouldn’t turn on. I spent 5 hours on the phone before they told me they couldn’t fix it and would have to send someone out. But not for a week! They refused to return it. Customer support was rude and incompetent. Twice they hung up on me and always treated me like I was wrong for complaining. Now less than 3 months since I bought it, and over 5 new serious issues with the basic function of the laptop, they tell me that the latest issue is a software one and I have to pay to fix it! I’ve lost so much money already from the countless hours I’ve spent with tech support. So they send you a shoddy device and then charge you every time you need to fix it - which is a lot. Nice set up!! Do yourself a favor and stay clear of Dell!!

do not buy refurbished dell computors they make it look clean but the one we bought was 8 years old was 1 month old when had to have a computer tech out got it working 3 weeks later again tech called 3 days later total failure tech took computer with doubted could be fixed amount of costs far exceeded buying a new one
