“how DHL ruined my wedding!!!!
I have been planning my wedding for more than 8 months now and it's supposed to be held next month. my wife and I are interested in the Pakistani style so we have ordered our wedding dresses from Pakistan as they are handmade. after receiving her dress we came to know that the package and the dress are damaged... imagine the wedding shoes were cut open, dress stitches were removed and damaged package got punctured with more than 20 openings !!!! now tell me how may I stop my wife from freaking out basically her wedding dress is damaged now.... this will be the last time to use DHL and yaaaa btw we won't get any refund back not even for the shipping as the shipping was done through a carrier so basically. my wife is gone mad, our wedding may be delayed, money loss, and no refund for anything. i really hope that DHL closes soon I don't recommend sending anything with them as they not trustworthy, and experts in making your life hard, and ya the call center that a different story they will keep on taking you into loops and loops and will treat you as if you are a slave!!! ..... if you want my opinion just don't consider DHL as you will regret it!!!

“I have never complained in social media about anything but this time I couldn’t not to. I had a huge issue with DHL as they delivered furniture to me in Ireland and the smashed all the packets during the delivery!! Now they are telling me they don’t take responsibility for it and that the items where delivered in perfect condition! Absolutely a joke of a company , please don’t use their services! You won’t be covered if anything happens to your items!”
“First of all I buyed something from Canada, they didn't announce me I have to pay taxes, than I spoke with them 3 times with different persons from custom department, delivery department and another department, all of them they "were nice" on the phone and very helpful but...they told me that I will receive an email and a text message with the information I had needed, no text, no email : and remember 3 times.
Than when I received the purcell there was no phone call, nothing,he just left it to someone but on the app appears "received and signed by me" which is totally incorrect
Overall is huge lack of information and communication from them.
When you have to pay taxes for almost a quarter from the value of your parcel, this the treatment we deserve from them?! They just don't care.

“Oh my God where to start with DHL. To put it simple if you want to save your time and nervs do not deal with DHL. Drivers have no brain at all or are intentionally messing with people. AVOID”
“Possibly the worst experience, couldn't schedule a pick up online, called was told pickup was for end of day. Nothing happened, called the next day told you will get a message and text. “I have booked DHL on a few occasions and found them to be very efficient, even driver phoned when I wasn't at home and called back. They send me notification when delivery due and always on that day.”

“driver delivered a package. told me he had a 2nd package but there was a small fee due before he could release it. He wouldn't let me pay and said I'd get an email or text to pay online. No email or text arrived. Rang customer support...got transfered to a UK Gas utility company (seriously!!!). Rang back, got a helpful lady who transferred me but was cut off. The tracking details on their site says that I refused the package which is simply not true. Total shambles....looking at the reviews here, I may buckle in as this sage will not have a easy ending”

Been waiting for 4 weeks for my package to be given to me , have to pay extra money for customs from uk and paid it.
Waiting for the delivery that never came we took 2 days off work to be at home when they eventually did say it would be here !!
Have made 12 calls to DHL where the staff are very pleasant.
They Said that my only a part of my parcel is there and the rest is in another part of the country!!!!!
Told me the package they do have is waiting for me at Shannon.... I said no thats not right it's meant to be delivered to our home, to which they said for some reason the system says it was told by me to leave it at shannon fir me to collect (why I don't know!!!!)
The girl then said she could see that I actually wanted it delivered to my home but it is also saying that I have to come collect it too..... told them I paid 23euro for delivery I want it delivered because we can't travel for it. (Yes it's all so confusing)
So now for the past 3 days iv been calling 1st thing in the morning to get them to put this parcel in the van for delivery. Every day its the same thing "oh it doesn't seem to have been scanned" " il make a note on the system"
I'm INFURIATED. One month for a delivery is an absolute joke, especially when it's in the country and no one is bothering to put it in a van !
Absolutely disgraceful.
I understand brexit has made trouble but there is no excuse for the incompetence that has been displayed by DHL.”

I have paid over 287 euros to have my daughter’s Christmas presents to be delayed, unable to access her account to pay the duties, no one answering the telephone or responding to customers inquiries. “Would have rated zero if possible. 3 of my online orders were by DHL.
1st delivery: message received to say delivered. Nothing even though someone home all day. Turned out it was "delivered" elsewhere. Driver returned with order at 8pm.
2nd experience: Goods left vendor on time. DHL msg daily to say delivery due today. Took several calls before receiving after 10days. The gifts arrived too late for the intended occasion.
3rd experience: expected delivery 10 days. Ordered on 30th Nov. Now its 18th Dec. Nothing. Rang DHL. All I got was the goods are in Ireland and we will check.
DHL. Please learn from DPD or An Post, or even UPS. Thumbs down.”
