I’ve had a few orders from DPD and every single one there has been an issue. They always say there is an issue in my area but when contacting them they let me know they made a mistake with either not collecting the parcel or forgetting to put it on the plane. Instead of saying they made a mistake they keep passing it on to my area even tho I’m getting other deliveries on the same day. Knowing companies deliver with DPD it puts me off ordering from them.

Never on time, seldom the correct day and too often the item gets lost in transit. Where companies advise they use DPD I move on to another supplier.

3 separate deliveries from different suppliers. No card left as never attempted delivery. Infuriating when a company lies to you like this!!!! I will ask suppliers not to use dpd in future had enough of waiting in for parcels from them and not even attempting to deliver. I have even installed an expensive loud milti point door bell which works well when used. Sort your drivers out!

They were supposed to deliver my parcel today. They didn't even bother taking it to the correct driveway, wjich is all open. They simply stood outside a locked gate, took a picture and left. Totally useless and unreliable.

I would give less than one star if i could, the delivery service of DPD ist not satisfying. The parcel is supposed to be delivered to the house but they sent it to a pick-up shop, for no reason

Today the Delivery company DPD text drive was coming. I waited. Nothing. Next I get a text saying my parcel should be collected to my next coop shop on Thursday. We have CCTV and driver never came out of his car, just reversed back to send a text. Contacted customer service all she could say in her French English accent was to log a complaint and that I should contact the parcel sender to send it to me again. What is the point? This company should not be allowed to operate in UK. I have cctv footage to prove it.

I waited outside for almost an hour with my newborn baby. The driver just passed me and in the system missed. Very lazy they don’t want to deliver high rise buildings. Complained my item is sent back to the sender. Never use dpd again.

The driver miss read the address and the block of flats I live in which is sign posted on a big white sign directly opposite the address he delivered to ?. and then after dpd confirming that and saying they would ring me , they then picked the parcel up , but instead returned it to the sender. I phoned them and was told by them , they said to late it has now gone back to the sender, communication non existent . .

Driver did not deliver to the correct address...recipient was in and waiting but I had a text message saying no one was in! They either tried the wrong doorbell or didn't wait long enough for someone to answer the door. Could do better!!!!!

Missed a delivery on one day, received a note with calling card number on. Stayed in the next day (2 of us) and saw that another calling card had been dropped through the door. I did think that maybe the door bell just didn't work on the second delivery but am pretty certain the great big brass door knocker in the middle of the door works! Once I found a customer service number, computer just stated 'no' I could rebook as this had to be done through the seller, I couldn't have it delivered to a collection centre as the seller had not set that up, basically, they were as much use as a chocolate fire guard. This is not the first time issues with DPD have been had. I have caught DPD delivery drivers posting the calling card through the door without having even knocked on the door. When challenged, they said they thought no one was in. Ringing the doorbell of knocking on the door might help. A truly shambolic delivery service with totally lack lustre drivers who really don't care. Would strongly recommend that all companies boycott DPD as will only result in lots of customer complaints when deliveries are not made. Useless does not even begin to describe this so called delivery service!

DPD driver Lewis stole my Chain Saw! A collection was arranged by Trade Counter Direct to pick up a faulty Stanley Chain Saw from my house, TCD would arrange for the return label as they had done the previous week when the first faulty Chain Saw was picked up with no issues by driver Lee on 25th Feb. On 7th March driver Lewis duly turned up at the allocated time resplendent in DPD uniform and nice new DPD van, I asked him if he had the return label from TCD and he said no but he would return the parcel to the local depot and it would get sorted out (stolen)! With hindsight I should have asked for some receipt but I thought that this being a well-known, professional courier company, not known for stealing goods, it would be safe with them. A few days later I got a text from DPD saying the parcel would be collected the next day? Next day driver Kevin turned up and I explained to him that the parcel had already been picked up, this did not surprise him unduly. I contacted DPD who carried out a thorough investigation! (probably checked on EBay to see the 2nd hand prices for Stanley chainsaws) and concluded that the parcel was never collected on the 7th March. Somebody is lying, me or DPD? I’m £120 down and DPD! Well, their reputation just gets better and better especially for their new department “Stolen Goods R Us”.
