Received missed delivery notice within 5mins of the delivery window 1hr slot. Photo confirmed driver did not even approach security entrance for the industrial area. No phone call . Shocking service. Drivers name Stuart according to the delivery details. I hope, but wont hold my breath , we get a delivery tomorrow.

worse courier service, i had come across, been waiting over 3 days for delivery of a Christmas present I bought, driver doesn't even attempt delivery and says 'no access' been waiting outside in anticipation today. have been told to pick up from parcel shop, if that was the case, i wouldnt have paid for delivery and would have rather picked up from the store instead. absolute waste of a company especially close to xmas. customer service is absolutely rubbish too, like they are reading from a script abroad, cant answer questions. The only courier service that cant do their job and deliver parcels, even bloody yodel delivered here. Its not like a hidden address, its a bloody massive historic Mill.

I've always found DPD good when it came to delivering too me. However trying to use them to send a parcel is a nightmare. They've taken my payment & now I'm unable to cancel the order & claim a refund. They want me to log I to my account but I don't have an account.

Your service is absolutely shocking your customer service is as bad as your drivers delivering.. you say my parcel will be taken to the local post office yet this has not been done!!! It should be shut down!!!!£

Paid extra for delivery to arrive yesterday, waited all day after receiving text to say it will be delivered. Then tracking states parcel was refused and is on its way back to sender . Utter disgrace . Nightmare to get in touch with, prerecorded phone message on the number they give you . Worst customer service experience ever with DPD . Utter shambles AVOID . I wish I had the option to use a reliable courier. I would give zero stars if possible .

This company should shut down instead of running a 3rd rate business. I had ordered a something to be delivered as the item was heavy. Then I get a message saying it will be delivered on the 21st, which was alright. I wake up Sunday morning i.e the 19th and I have a message telling me the driver will be at my place between 12.49 to 13 49. I was okay with that since I didn't have to go out. I waited by the window for the driver, and saw him pull up, he got out without my parcel, stood in front of my building and took a picture and ran back to his vehicle, quickly opened the door and sped off. The next thing I get a message saying that Sorry we missed you we will deliver it on 20th. I called customer service and they contacted the driver who said he would be back in an hour. I waited the whole rest of the day for him he never turned up. Today morning I get a msg saying it will be delivered between 8.09 and 9.09. I waited and then get a message from the same driver that it has been delivered to my neighbour on the ground floor. This neighbour wasn't on my preferred list, plus he never rang my bell. This driver has done this to avoid me. Now I have to carry my item up the stairs. CLOSE DOWN DPD YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO RUN A 3RD RATE BUSINESS.

Delivery from Vodafone always says driver encountered a road traffic accident, then I'm given a new date and time .have spoken to customer service advisor who told me it would be here today by 5pm its now 10pm what's going on

Very poor service. I have been waiting weeks for a delivery which was constantly rescheduled and upon contacting the seller they spoke to DPD who told them it’s been delivered. I spoke to DPD myself who told me they couldn’t help which is just unacceptable really. The tracking information still states it’s out for delivery on Monday 13th December (6 days ago!) Really unhappy with the service as I needed this delivery for the 10th when it was originally expected (I ordered on 26th November).

They simply lie each time a parcel is due out for delivery. You get a note saying out for delivery, you get a time slot, it’s never delivered and then you get a “we couldn’t find you”. Then you call an Indian call centre who repeat what’s on the computer. Ask for a manager who tell you someone could call you back in 48 hours - but they can’t guarantee. Use any other company but don’t use DPD. Utter disgrace.

Hideous delivery service. Their email states that they will attempt contact or leave with a neighbour initially, if unsuccessful. At the time of the delivery I was at home and could see the DPD van outside my window so waited for them to ring my buzzer. No such luck. Nor did they attempt any of my other 5 neighbouring flats in the house, all of which have residents work from home. I shouted out the window to the van driver to explain that I was in (clearly), and that I'd come down to collect my parcel immediately, only for him to say that he'd come back another day! Because of this I was unable to send Christmas presents online to the young children in my family. Truly awful service

Such terrible service from this company which has gone on for weeks now. They only did something positive when I wrote a review about them. Shockingly bad as the people who said they were “looking into the problem” did not do that. DPD has caused great upset in lost deliveries, especially for Xmas. Shame on them. Do not use.

This is the worst company ever honestly. Neve had a single good experience with them, never a single one. Just awful awful awful. Get your service an upgrade this is unbearable. As soon as I see dpd as a carrier I know I am in for some issues and time loss. Hate this company with all my heart.

After being told on several occasions that the delivery had been unsuccessful, we were faced with a 16-mile round trip {the "green" option??] to a store, where the manager bemoaned the awful service DPD were giving. Incorrect and untruthful mails, and a complete disregard for the customer - not a pretty picture. God only knows why suppliers don't use Royal Mail.

DPD had my package destined for Austria for two months. It was returned twice with various excuses and held in their warehouse with no explanation. When I finally had it back it was sent with DHL. They managed to have it delivered with exactly the same paperwork in two days. DPD are a bunch of lazy liars. Never use this company. They are a bunch of brainless morons.

Normally top quality service, however my most recent experience, was very poor. Had message saying "oh no we've missed you, but it will be taken to your nearest pick-up shop" we were home all day & normally parcels are left in my open porch anyway? With another quote saying "By delivering your parcel to your nearest DPD Pickup shop, we have saved CO2 meaning this is the best option for our planet". So me having to get in my car, using my fuel to travel 10miles doesn't produce any C02 !!! NOT IMPRESSED

Thieves. Unreliable. Very poor customer service. Paid £10 express delivery on Monday for a very important item. Notified by the retailer I bought it from that DPD had lost my item (stolen). Re-ordered the same item, and paid again for express delivery. I then had to change the destination of the parcel due to DPD’s previous mistake, of which they felt it was acceptable to add another day onto my delivery. Well I go on Christmas leave from today and I will not have my order until I return. Don’t advertise your deliveries as express. It is anything but that. Truly shocking customer services also, didn’t even attempt to help. Just assumed nothing was achievable in getting this item to me. These reviews are really worth my time, I’ll be emailing the company I purchased my item from and do everything I can to ensure they use a different courier.

DPD is the worst company I had to deal with. Unfortunately is used by many business and I can't understand why. There is always a problem with them, they mistake the address, they don't come and leave the parcel in a pick up point of their choice, they do enormous delay. In this particular situation I'm on, they keeping my return parcel in their warehouse since five days, they don't bring it back to Currys and I'm having huge delays with my refund. Their customer service is very very poor, they are rude and unprofessional, they even blocked me. Also not update tracking of the parcel. Honestly, please write a review if you had similar experience with DPD, so maybe this company will stopped to be used. Thanks

DPD used to be flawless up until two months ago when two of my order were returned saying they missed me at home. I work from home all the time. No card or messages were left. Total frustration!

Terrible service. The delivery man showed up to my apartment once when I was at work, then ignored my attempts to contact him and decided to send the parcel back the very next day without telling me anything. Worst. delivery. service. ever.

Warning, they have a new project called ‘Can’t Wait’ which delivers your parcel for pickup next day to a close by DPD store. They sent mine many miles away and were completely unhelpful. Fine if you can walk to pick it up but rubbish if the item is large and or you don’t have access to transport. A concern for anyone running a business and delivering to elderly people. Should be a half mile limit on distance to be an option. Thanks to strong consumer protection in the UK I’ll get my money back when it gets returned but doesn’t help my Christmas present issue.
