Was told no need to pay m50 charges. Theres a massive posters on easy rent Dublin airport branch warning customers not to double pay toll charges. I've asked if I should pay. Answer-no this will be debit from your card. We will pay it for you, said with a smile. . Received email today tolls paid plus 20 euros administration charge. Charge trebles the tool cost! Avoid avoid avoid. I've complained and will pursue.

I would like to let you know of what a terrible, awful, thieving company you are. I rented a car through Fox Car Rental. I was not told by them that it would actually be Easirent who would be the company I would get the car from. When I called for the shuttle, I couldn't hear the agent on the phone (and I clearly was not from the UK to know what he was talking about with regards to landmarks around the airport). He told me where to meet the shuttle (either in this car park, or that car park as the hotel had 2 different car parks, but never had an exact location as to where to get the shuttle). I had to ask THREE different parking attendants where a shuttle might pick me up telling them I rented through Fox, they had never heard of Fox. An UNMARKED white van pulls in and the attendants ask him where I should go. Turns out the unmarked van was for me. AN UNMARKED VAN was their shuttle! And at this point I still had no clue it was Easirent. and the driver had also no clue what Fox was. He asked if I was from the US and if I rented a car, I said yes, he said he was picking me up. I get to the HOTEL that had a desk inside (UNMARKED AGAIN, seems Easirent doesn't know how to put up signs for customers). The agent inside took my passport, license and international license (good thing I got one). I started to take out the car rental insurance policy I had as well. He scribbles a few things on a small piece of scrap paper and told me I needed to but a 30,000GBP deposit on a credit card incase there was an incident (do people have that much credit on their cards? really?) I told him I had coverage for more than that already and started to hand him my paperwork, he refused to take it and wrote down more stuff I didn't understand stating I had to put down a deposit for any damages. I HAD COVERAGE FOR THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE VEHICLE ALREADY!! At this point it was an hour after we had landed and I had been awake for 21 hours. I don't know what I was exactly charges for but after the conversion I was charged $569 ($400 MORE than what my reservation was for). If the insurance coverage was supposed to be a deposit, I want a refund for the extra $400 I was charged... I STILL don't even know the name of that desk agent, but I was there for over 2 hours! Fighting over the insurance and then waited for over 30 minutes for the car! The car was still wet from being washed. It was cracked in the rear and the passenger mirror and the front bumper and the wheel alloy was also scraped. I have NEVER seen a rental car in such terrible scape! Even the gentleman who went through the inspection with me said it looked like it had been in a war. Who would rent that sort of car!!?? This is now 2 hours after I arrived at the hotel for my rental making me MISS my appointment at 10am. I returned my car after several days of arguing with customer service about the insurance charges and how I already had insurance and I wasn't told anything about it when I booked online. I was told that to see insurance terms I had to go to this website, click here then click here then click here. It's not exactly some place a customer can easily find it. And why would I need to when my online booking said I could waive the coverage? The requirements are not as clearly displayed as your company thinks it is. Now, fast forward 2 weeks after I returned the vehicle.... I receive an email that there was a charge from the Transport Department for the Dart. I was aware there may be a toll on one of the roads, and I was right, it is a 2.50GBP fee. I have no problem paying that fee as I was expecting it. HOWEVER, your company doesn't check daily to see if your customers have been charged anything on roads from the Transport Department, so the company charges my card the LATE FEE!! After the exchange I have been charged almost $75 because YOUR company is too lazy to do a daily check for road fees and tolls your customers may incur. What is wrong with this company!??! I should not be paying YOUR late fees! So now, I have been charges $472 more than I had agreed on! I have contested these charges with my bank. I agreed to pay $158 for the car and I agree to pay the Transport Department fee of $3.25. this is the worst company. A total Bait and Switch. Lure me in with a great deal online but because you are located away from the airport I can't just walk over to the next car rental company and use them. I was forced to pay for coverage (that I already had) and instead of speaking to me first about the charges 2 weeks after I returned the car you charged me for late fees that YOUR company should be responsible for. I have posted negative reviews anywhere and everywhere I can find a place to post a negative review, on all the pictures on the Birmingham Facebook page, Trip Advisor, Trust Pilot (and if I find other places I will post negative reviews there as well) You are liars and thieves. I want a refund in the amount of 365GBP ($472USD) Receiving a refund is the only way I will change my reviews and it's also the right thing for the company to do.

Turned away on two occasions after a half hour wait in the cold. Firstly because of the name on my card being slightly different to my booking name and second because I didn't bring two proofs of ID. I hire cars all the time and my license has always been enough. The first case was them wanting me to just pay the full insurance. Just don't use them. They give you an unrealistically cheap price so it's obvious one way or another you're going to get ripped off. You can't run a hire car business with those prices. Look at everyone else's experience just pay the extra and go to a proper hire car business.

If you want to collect your car from Gatwick Airport never use this worst service. There are plenty of other car rentals in airport itself. To get this rental service you need to take shuttle bus or taxi to reach this place. There is 40 minutes waiting time to get one shuttle bus and you have to pay £3 per head. To take a taxi you have to pay£16. Once you reach in their office you will get the worst customer service. In website they offered £26 per day rental. But there are plenty of hidden extras. I will never recommend to use this service and I never use this service again in my life. ***Avoid***

I went to collect the lwb van i had booked but after waiting for 2 1/2 hours the vehicle was given to someone else. I had been waiting in a queue. A man who was 3 places behind me approached the desk and asked for the same kind of van that i did. When i queried the status of my van with the advisors i was told they had no lwb vans available and would give me a swb van instead. I explained that i have been waiting for 2 1/2 hours for a van i had booked a week ago. This man has jumped the queue and made his booking yesterday and yet gets the vehicle before me why? No answer. They said head office had pre booked it for him. If we had stayed in the line had he not jumped ahead then i would have been there before him and they would not have refused me the van. I am absolutley fuming at the way i have been treated. The advisors standing behind the desk had there fingers up there backside instead of working. Knowing its a bank holiday monday and they are over booked to go through the queue and checking what people had booked to let them know if the vehicle was available. This is only the second time i have used them and both times i have been let down because they have over booked and if you go ontk there site and search for the same date, time and type of vehicle it says its available. I have been told by someone that they over book on purpose to ensure the vehicles are being used and they are making money. As for anybody coming to collect there vehicle tuff luck you came to late. Never had these issue with other companies ( budget, sixt, hertz). Dont use them my advice

Do not rent a car from these people. Worst experience I've ever had and I rent cars at least 4 times a year. Rented from Belfast, Northern Ireland. Was quoted £96 for 2 days including extra insurance giving us a zero excess if anything happened. Got to office and the charges kept coming...£30 for driving over the border to Rep of Ireland....£30 for this...£20 for that....I questioned the extra charges so much that now I don't even know what I was charged for. I ended up paying £160 for a 48 hour rental. I felt I had to go with it as it was late and the office is a drive from the airport and we would have been stranded had we decided not to rent the car. Off we went with the car. On our return they decided to charge us £80 to clean the car. Apparently there was a smell of smoke, even though no one smoked in the car. I questioned this and they brought out someone else to check the car. He came back saying there was a smell of smoke and also one of the tyres has been changed....wtf.....luckily I had the extra insurance so couldn't be charged for the tyre (which by the way wasn't touched). I spent ages arguing about the £80 charge for the clean. But was worried I would miss my return flight or they wouldn't give us a lift to the airport so had to pay the £80. So to hire a car for 48 hours cast me £240. £144 more than was first quoted. Horrible company. Horrible staff. Conmen.

I agree 100% with all negative reviews so far. They are a complete shambles and a total rip off. Please, please avoid them and let's, together, ensure they never get any more business and disappear up their own exhaust pipe.

I wish I'd seen this siye before booking with resident. What should have been a reasonably priced car rental turned out there most expensive I've ever paid. They tried to charge me £1000 deposit, I refused so that was waived but I had to pay £80 excess even though I'd already taken.out insurance with a specialist car rental.insurance company. I needed the car so couldn't refuse to.pay that. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE. I've rented cars in the USA and UK but never before encountered anything like the charges from EASIRENT. I could have rented the same car from another car hire company for twice as long for the same amount if money. Never again.

Why did I not see this site before booking with easiride? I can only agree with what has already been said, they were so unprofessional it was unreal. The shuttle bus only runs every 50 minutes. Once we got there we had to wait while staff tried to muddle through, all 3 customers in front of us had some sort of issue. When we finally got served they tried to give us a lower spec car,( because they had given the car booked for us to the people in front of us who also came from the same town as us ) After 2 hours waiting we placed our stuff in the boot while we checked the car, (silly us we left the boot up and surprise surprise there was scratches on the boot that were not recorded) ok our mistake our responsibility but when returning it took 4 guys to sort out the paperwork so 55 minutes later missed the connecting shuttle bus back to Gatwick. Summing up AVOID AT ALL COST - pay a bit extra as Easirent Gatwick are a shower of Cowboys

If you say your not happy when renting a car with them they simply refuse to rent one to you. I said I would put a review about the hidden charges I received and the guy rung up just head office and said they don't hire to people who give them bad reviews. Sick twisted people work at EasiRent go to a decent hire company where you receive a smile along with please and thank you instead of rudeness. https://youtu.be/ujsT4B5jKm4

We returned a hire car to them with a new booking was meant to be collecting another car. I had an issue with a hidden charge what wasn't clear in the contract, I said I would be reviewing this online so the manager said "anyone that leaves us bad reviews will not be able to hire a car with us". He left us stranded and was happy to be rude and abrupt in front of my child. I filmed everything and will upload this to YouTube, search EasiRent and you will find the video....

It's a harsh word to use, but how these guys operate is nothing short of criminal. Save yourself the hassle and go to a reputable car rental firm (Enterprise/Avis/Hertz), the service will be much better and you won't be stung for damage you didn't cause.

Avoid at all costs!!!!! Seriously, at first glance they look cheap in comparison to the competition but don't be fooled. Pay the extra upfront and go with a reputable company. They tried to charge me for damage but after showing the pics I'd taken at the time of collection I've been charged £75 for cleaning....the car was absolutely filthy when collected and they want me to foot the bill for cleaning it surrounding me in an ill attempt to intimidate me. Thieves who are only interested in getting as much money as they can extort while they still have customers....only a matter of time until they are out of business as anyone who has been unfortunate enough to go with them once will never return

Absolute Scam... the worst ever, I got charged for one day of rental more than I got charged in my entire 25 year driving history, combined. I got a car with a chip on the wind shield that compromised its integrity, and when I returned it back they charged me a ridiculous amount to replace it!!! That is in addition to all the issues with the customer service and professionalism... This is a company that will run out of business very quickly.

Its a trick! Great prices, then we arrived and were asked for a deposit of £1500! When we said 'no chance' they said take out an insurance policy for £120. So add that to your bill. I havent taken the car back yet so they better not try on any damage. I made sure i took photos of the vehicle with the chap doing the checking in the picture. I shall photo it when I return it to make sure that they dont try it on. Every person waiting to pick up a vehicle were having the same argument as we were. Most were foreign and didnt really understand. I wish I'd checked the reviews first! Its a con. Go to one of the big names, they cost a little more but are much more reliable and dont try and rip you off (too much.) Not a happy customer.
