My account was suspended permanently for reasons they won’t tell me. I’ve got over 2 1/2 thousand pounds in sales which they are not releasing. We burried my dad 2 days ago and left me with no money for Christmas and presents!

Sold items for £125 when they moved to managed payments and I was never paid. I rang customer service more than 20 times. They were so rude telling me it's my fault they didn't pay me and they couldn't tell me where they had transferred the funds and I was unable to check on my account. I asked them to raise a complaint twice and received no answer. I've wasted hours of my time chasing this for months and months.

Hi everyone! I absolutely denounce ebay shopping because I have had one of the worst experience shopping on this site-- I lost two expensive items, that seller claims to ship with speedPAK and then was handled by the USPS that stated that it was delivered!!!! I absolutely have not seen my items, they were nowhere to found and started reaching out to the United post office to look for the items, they send me to two different offices with no resolution whatsoever, contacted seller as well to eBay customer service... I now know that I must stay AWAY from eBay forever because I am the looser lost as my money as well purchased items, and NO ONE on my side, NO HeLP from any of above mentioned companies, seems to me like they are ganged up to cover each other against the customer!!!! I ask everyone to give a good consideration before you start shopping on eBay!

Ebay does not ensure its traders follow the law, its T&C's are at odds with UK Law, and yet it insists on following them even when this is pointed out. I have given up and I am taking the vendor to the small claims court, where the law is actually applied. Additionally, when I pointed out that the trader was registered for VAT and yet the invoice had no VAT, or VAT number on it they didn't care. I will be reporting both the trader and Ebay to HMRC.

just got suspended without any reason, had good review. never had a problem. at once they suspended me. asking them about the reason, they say they cant tell me the reason. and even suspended me from making any new accounts, without any reason!!! without any warning. just because they want to. thanks! never going back.

I won a auction on ebay on a 1/6 collection figure that never was delivered! Ebay did NOTHING to sort it out. Geting in contact with ebay to make a refund/complaint was deliberately made hard by ebay. DO NOT BOTHER BUYING ANYTHING FROM EBAY, you will end up loosing money

I have an eBay account (not sure if I have ever bought on here to be honest, and went to sell and item. After thinking I have followed every step to list the item it has instead permanently blocked my account. Not ideal for me trying to sell something :( there was no reason left and it also means I cannot delete my information from their record as I can’t log in to close the account so I’m struggling to make a new one to sell my item on. They also refuse to discuss, explain and accept an appeal around this.

I bought jewelry from a prolific seller with no negative reviews. It turned out this seller "jewelry authority" was incompetent. He sent my necklace in a small poly bag inside a jewelry box. It was very obvious it was jewelry and in fact the poly bag was cut and the necklace fished out by a thief. So I received an empty jewelry box. The seller has not initiated an insurance claim even though I sent pictures of the cut poly bag and a police report. The delivery confirmation picture shows the cut in the bag as it was being placed in my mailbox. Ebay has been worthless. You cannot even reach them by phone. They require details on the police report that my country does not give out. I just keep getting stock emails asking for the same thing. But the most egregious act was the fact that they did not post my review criticising the seller for his poor shipping method and not following up with the insurer. I now believe that ebay is covering up his incompetence by not posting the negative reviews because they are making too much money off him. Seems like fraud to me.

Talentless ahole capitalist scammers, business model to a create platform whereby they can exploit the hard work of honest buyers and sellers. Constantly pushing up their fees for doing nothing, how much longer can they get away with it? DONT TRUST EBAY!! wolves in sheeps clothing they only want to get their greedy mits on your money anyway they can, and then they'll excuse themselves by quoting you their 100 page T&Cs as if that makes it ok. as a buyer for two decades ebay I am disappointed to inform that eBay has become harder to contact and harder to receive help and satisfaction from his customer service. this year 2021 I had three problems and Ebay did not make it right. I strongly believe that they made ethically wrong choices the way they handled it. he stated again and again “the computer will not let me do anything“ “There’s nothing I can do” they were a stone wall there in the wrong. I have lost money on each of the transactions. i can no longer trust transactions with ebay.

I got the 3 free auctions and they blocked my selling account for no reason... "You bought, now sell with max £1 selling fees Make room for your latest buy! Up to three listings. Ends Thurs.*" "You're not eligible for this promotional offer because your selling account is suspended." Should I think this company is full of scammers?

I have an eBay account for 10 years, when a seller makes a mistake about what you ordered or charges you but the order never arrives. It is very difficult to get your money back. It is not clear how to seek help. You have to be willing to waste your time and money. the process begins with writing to the seller. He refuses to acknowledge his mistake. You claim and ebay does nothing. It is difficult to find a way to claim. I think Ebay should protect the buyer more.

Do not use EBAY....I recently made 1 purchase and they suspended my account right away for some reason. Now I can't return the item which was the wrong item in the first place. Again, do not use EBAY. You will lose our on money

wow I wished I had seen all these comments what a change over time....I had money returned as I received a note bothered me they say I had cancelled my product so many times not true...Of course E Bay was in touch with me there answer was I cancelled This has gone on and on the one that phoned not the best by e mail heaps I have been with them years It has been a stressful horrid situation I have have all details in a folderI I have always received high comments a I was a buyer I am going to now close down I do not want anyone too contact me well it would be Customer Service they all seem to say the same.

I ordered something on Ebay and didn't receive it. Ebay failed to stand behind the transaction and either refund my money or send another item. This is why I will quit shopping with this pathetic excuse of a company and stay with the Amazon giant or Walmart. At least they stand behind packages you don't receive. I would not waste my time with Ebay when there are others available like Walmart or Amazon who will stand behind their name and insure you receive your package. I'm out of money with nothing but a nasty seller trying to pin this on me. I was told to check with my neighbors when it supposedly was delivered to a post office box. Like really? I'm supposed to go door to door in a rural area to track down a package I didn't get? That isn't customer service...it's customer disservice, and I won't shop with Ebay again.

Had an account for some time which I haven't used. Recently I wanted to buy an item, so my only activity on the account was asking the seller a question and then buying the item. Today I've received an email stating that my account was permanently suspended for posing a risk to the community. The "live" agent's answers were just as useless as the chat bot's, replying in copy pasted answers. They refused to let me know what exactly I have "done wrong" to earn the suspension. Bunch of clowns

I sold my Cartier watch on eBay the customer says she does not want the watch so I accepted the return then the customer send me 10 dollars watch so I told eBay and they did not give me my money back. I end up losing my money and my watch.

horrible first time using. bought a bike for $259 and guy sent me a mask like it was the bike. eBay not giving my money back like they said and would coach prior agent. im out $279 thank you ebay no Christmas for my kids!

The new ebay is the worse site on line. They are now after your dollars through trickery and deceiving you with adding 5% to fees if they deemed you below some BS standard. Never ever Ebay.

Openly facilitates fraud. Sellers are scammed all the time and eBay dumps it on the seller. I have been with eBay for over 20 years, with over 500 pieces of positive feedbacks from real people. My recent experience drove me from eBay forever. Here is how I was scammed... this can be used to also scam eBay. Yup these are directions to scam eBay, just like they tried with me. How to scam eBay: 1. Find something you want that requires freight. 2. bid and win or buy it now... and then pay with a credit card 3. The next day, through eBay, click the box that you haven't received the item yet. *(Duh, its the next day... doesn't matter) 4. Don't communicate with anyone! 5. When the item arrives on the truck because it's freight. Sign off with an "X" or another name than your own... just use your name and make it really hard to read. 6. Keep claiming you didn't get the item, even though you did! eBay will contact the seller for more info and all that... you just do nothing. 7. eBay will refund your money and try to collect the money from the seller. 8. Done you just got something delivered to your house or business that cost thousands of dollars for free. 9. eBay will spend all their time and effort going after the seller that never shipped the item. 10. Done!
