“All staff seem like they hate their job. Terrible service. Was told I can get a sim contract for £24 a month, come back in to buy it and get told it’s no longer available lol”
“I switched ftom normal broadband to super speed broadband the engineer came to fix new box in the wall but he reassured us that i can use the normal broadband until the switch over but what he didnt tell me is it was already switched over so i lost my broadband and internet had to take annual leave because i work from home and couldnt work also never explained i need new router it would come by royal mail that was 3 dats ago iam still waiting so my advice is font go to faster speed it too much hazzle and your without broadband/internet so i complaine to manager was told all i would vrt back is £20 00 that wont pay for the phone calls or loss of service so i wish i hadnt changed to EE not happy with service at all”
“So I understand that the contract options change. However if you say I am due an upgrade you should also tell me it won't kick in even it the last 30 days but when the contract ends...... very poor communication. Also called up on the same day to cancel a number and only found it out in an actual EE shop it never got cancelled. EE is definitely going downhill”
“I took up a contract with an iphone with EE.
within 2 months i traveled to NewYork and the ohne wouldn't work on the roaming bundle, hours of wasted times in cafes/hotels using wifi contacting EE to fix the issue. Many reassurances that the phone and roaming settings and bundles were correct, the phone wouldnt not work. EE couldnt sort it but when back in the UK they promised it would work next time.
The same happened in Greece, Germany, France and Morocco (different bundle needed in Morocco). You need your phone working to get you to meetings/hotels/work etc. Its not good enough for a large company to let this happen and not help.
On all of these trips, friends and colleagues that I have been with all had perfectly working phones, and often iphones on EE. so the countries phone signals were fine and it was clearly EE's settings and iphone that were to blame each time.
I have spent days calling/emailing/whatsapping EE and they just cant/wont help.
I finally asked them to just release me from my 36 month contract as its failing. I said i would pay for the iphone and could they stop the monthly charges. the answer 'NO'. So i am stuck with a phone/contract that wont work abroad for the next 22months and I have 6 abroad business trips organised this year already.
Dont use EE if you need a working phone abroad.
EE will reply to this stating they cant confirm or guarantee if a foreign countries signal will work.......however all of my friends/colleagues/family have had no issue on their vodaphone/iphones or three or gifgaf etc. So it is EEs fault and they wont help.”
“I am very dissatisfied with EE because despite me being a loyal customer, they wanted to charge me roaming charges of £2.29/day or £15/month even though I was only going to Spain.”
“I went into your Basildon shop for help with my oppo phone absolutely rediculous about as helpful as a kick up the butt I've been an EE customer a long time a joke”
“Over-charge on numerous bills. 30% increase on line rental after 2.5 months of contract (apparently that's CPI rate - when its not for other companies)
No signal approx 70%of the time - (people often ring our landline if at home or WiFi when out as can't get through).
Tried to cancel approx 2 weeks after received phone purchase due to issues but not allowed. Brought 2 - separate contracts & both people having same issues..
Refused to send free Samsung chromebook as part of deal to 1 person (2nd received).
EE customer service denies everything”
“They conned me into getting a contract and said I had to pay £70 to cancel it and it has lowered my credit score I'm disgusted I was happy paying 10 pound per month! They said it was the same price but was charging me late fees etc...NEVER AGAIN!”
“Good mobile service but stupidly expensive. They offer no incentive to stay with them when the contract ends, but instead they want more money from you.”
“I rang with a call making issue that my calls drop off and cut me off mid conversation, I was told to turn on WiFi calling which I did but calls still dropping off, I was then offered a mobile device to tether to but I would have to pay for it, no discount offered on my bill considering this is a regular occurence and I have been with EE over 10 years, no help whatsoever so when my contract is up next year I will be looking for another provider.”
“I tried to transfer my EE number to another EE contract but got messed around my customer support, they kept transferring me to different departments which were totally clueless and didn't know what to do. They even cancelled my account without telling me and now I have to pay the full contract price plus admin charges. They even threaten me with bad credit scores etc and they were very rude telling me I can pay the contract because I can afford a holiday.”
“Your app gets things wrong . It said I need to top up 10 pounds to get my pack .I did top up ten pounds it's says on your app .can't you see someone look yes there is ten pounds there. But it keeps saying you need to top up you haven't got a enough credit. So I had to buy a different pack. And it gets the data wrong the app is saying l have 5 GB of data and the 150 Balance is saying something like 14 GB of data which one is right both are saying different things. I give up.”
“Misleading advertising - headline says pay '£10 monthly' - but this is only a short term lead in offer - then £20 per month. Feel treated like a mug.”
“Very greedy.
Long story short.
Was getting a bit fed up with constantly running out of data, and their data packs are very expensive.
Saw a good deal from another "funny name" network. £10 for 6gb unlimited texts and calls.
Decided it's worth a try and called EE to check if they can bother offering something that keeps me interested staying. Nope. Nothing.
Switched to that other network, happy.
Couple days later EE started to bombard me with calls every single day. When I finally answered, they offered me 100gb for £26 or nothing :)
I want your attention here - they don't worry to at least match the offer from competitors(also mind that I was with EE for long time), they only worry about upselling and milking their own existing customers proposing ridiculous deals.
Not sure what their problem is, either poor Sales strategy or the fact that they think they use O2 physical network and everyone should praise them for that.”
“After thinking EE was one of the best companies they don’t want to know anything when the phone is broke. Customer service and the way I was spoken to was terrible, due to already speaking with apple for diagnosed the fault with the software/hard drive of the phone which wasn't fixable, EE didn’t listen thought they knew best, so my phone that went from half working being able to use WiFi to go on social media I was then told to erase settings to then not have a phone that was useable at all the phone wouldn’t go past the language section on iPhone 11 Pro! EE told me the only replacement phone I could get was a really old one which I’d have pay deposit and to send my phone off the wait would be two weeks then extra with not being in stock. Really not happy at all, once my contract is up I’ll be leaving considering I was told it was a really good deal after checking with carphone warehouse they could do better that’s even with student discount. Due to not having a working phone for 2 days I was really annoyed, luckily after visiting an apple store I had an appointment within 55 minutes and within 10 minutes I was given a brand new iPhone 11 Pro, because as they explained it was completely broken and a fault by iPhone, just EE didn’t want the responsibility. Now considering cancelling insurance through EE and taking it out through apple at least they solve the issue and speak to you well.”
“With my contact they agreed £100 uf costs and £39 pm. Then proceeded to charge £150 and £44 pm.
With my son's phone we agreed £90 uf and £44 pm. UF costs okay but charged £74 pm. Don't get me started on having to chase the phone being despatched. Each day of three they promised it had been sent but never arrived. Called and assured it would be sent that day and again wasn't. Infuriating.
They promise the earth and don't deliver.
Mick. Derby.”
“The customer service is good, they mean well, but it's no good if they cannot fix the issues.
Network coverage is poor, at times non-existent. I've had NO coverage for well over 4 days now so unable to make any calls whatsoever, we were told by the chap who sold us the complete package for broadband etc, that it was the "SIM"... So they sent two new sims for me and my partner's phone. Same issues. Not happy for a while now with EE - I was told that the coverage was brilliant and that it was the best supplier.”
“500mg gone in one fu"kin day and the funny part is I have wifi, I got my allowance yesterday I watch UFC and watch xfactor songs on Facebook only rarely do I use data, in 24 hours its nearly gone why the hell did I renew my contract, you are the worst phone company ever, and that's not just my opinion I just read some of your 500 reveiws, my God you should be totally ashamed of yourselves, if a bank or shop treated people the way you do they would be made to close I wish you were you useless cunts”
