“Reserved a Luxury Vehicle on 6/30/24 to pick up in Las Vegas on 10/21/24. Apparently, that's not enough time for Enterprise to ensure a vehicle is available because when we went to pick it up, there were no cars. Agent initially said cars would be arriving within 45 minutes, but when 45 minutes turned into 4 hours, he said they would be getting no cars for the day. Unfortunately, we had purchased tickets to the Hoover Dam that we did not get to use. I called Enterprise to request reimbursement for the cost of the tickets and was basically told to go pound sand. So, no rental car + no offer to reimburse for tickets = no more of my business for Enterprise. Avis and Budget gets my business going forward.”
“Customer service might be ok. They are not the people cleaning the cars They give me a 7 passage van full of Dog hair. I am very disappointed and won't rent from them again. Please check all cars before entering. They policy is no eating,no smoking, no pets did not apply to this Van. Dog hair everywhere. I Sneeze from NY to Wilmington Delaware. Never again”
“I am highly dissatisfied with rental agreement from 7/25-8/20. I was charged $587.38 for insurance I did not request, despite being assured by associate Landon that I would only pay a $300 security deposit which would be refunded entirely. Manager Dior was unable to resolve the issue, stating I'd be reimbursed by the other drivers car insurance, which was false information. I've been requesting a refund for two months now. Each time being told that the Regional Manager will contact me. No one ever reaches out. Enterprise takes advantage of their customers - DO NOT GO TO THIS HAWTHORNE NJ LOCATION.”
“From start to finish, I had a wonderful experience with Enterprise in Lexington, NC. Cameron was very professional, answered all my questions. He was actually there when I returned the rental, and was just as pleasant as when I checked out the car. I would highly recommend Enterprise for your rental car needs.”
“Order a car yesterday for today was called last night and told that the vehicle wasn't available for 10:00 a.m. pick up ask if I could pick it up at noon said sure called me the next morning no car ready at noon can't get one to four I changed my plans again then they called me 10 minutes before the rental to tell me no car is available at all what the hell is that.”
“I made and confirmed two reservations, but both times I was informed there were no cars available at the location. I ended up stranded. Customer service was unable to resolve the issue, and the escalation team was unhelpful and disconnected when I asked for an employee ID. I recommend staying away from this unreliable company.”
“What a wonderful experience I needed to get a rental car because my car was hit I walked in told him what I needed and they gave me the perfect car. Kylah was excellent, she walked me through it all. I recommend them to anyone who needs to rent a car This was my first time getting a rental and they made it a wonderful experience. I rented at the Enterprise on Warren road at Lakewood Heights Blvd.”
“This was one of the worst experiences we have ever had, Not using the claim from the Insurance, because Enterprise people do NOT support or help their customers during this most difficult and trying time. We will Never use Enterprise or recommend their services to anyone. No callbacks, no answer of the homes, even support lied to us. Lack of communication, incompetence and poor business ethics.”
“Enterprise rent a car in Lodi NJ (07644 )excellent and professional service. Highly recommend if your in need of a quick rental. Stephanie went above and beyond Thanks for your help 😊”
“Very poor experience. I
Rented through priceline.
My cost said including fees etc. I get there and they said I never paid. Which I did. They then said I couldn't use a spouse's card. I asked if I could use debit. They then asked for a utility bill. Originally they said I would only need I.d and insurance.
I asked them to repeat the Total and suddenly they added an extra 300$... going from 200 to 500 was outrageous. I explained i paid through priceline already and they told me i shouldnt have a charge and to call my card company to contest it. This was a huge waste of time. I was unable to rent and just canceled my entire trip.”
“DID'NT HAVE WHAT I RESERVED 2 WEEKS IN ADVANCE. I SHOWED UP 30 MINS. EARLY, YOU'D THINK I JUST BROKE ALL THE RULES. THE ASST. MANAGER WAS WHO WAITED ON ME. VERY COMBATTED I FELT LIKE I WAS TRASHED THAT JUST WALKED IN. SHE DID NOT HAVE THE SUV I RESERVED THE PROCESSED TO BAGGER ME ON WHAT CAR TO TAKE. I WAS ON MY WAY OUT OF TOWN, THIS WAS THE LAST THING I NEEDED. SO THEN SHE OVER CHARGES ME FOR THE VEHICLE SHE GAVE BY 20.00 A DAY. FROM THE PUBLISHED PRICE ON THE ENTERNET. THE VEHICLE WAS A LOW END SUV... NOT A HAPPY CAMPER !!!”
“Having a scheduled 9am pick up and reservation from the autobody shop, enterprise waited and picked me up at 930. Arrived at the shop for them to tell me it would be 45 minutes to and hour for till I could get my car. At almost and hour and half, still no car. What is the point of an appointment and reservation if they can't keep it. Go some place else. Incompetence at its best.”
“I rented a car for 9 days at Enterprise Reading in June 2024. I was informed of 2 parking offences (my daughter did not pay the parking fees as there was no wifi at the carparks) 2 weeks after the trip. Enterprise promptly charged the fines to my credit card. 3 months later, I received a letter from the parking authorities at Mousehold, Cornwall that the fine was outstanding and the amount has been doubled due to non payment. I emailed Enterprise 2x and my daughter in the UK even called the office. Enterprise refused to respond and the fine has not been settled as the parking authorities claimed the fine was not settled. I am stuck. Not responding to customers and following up on post service is unacceptable!”
“I originally picked up a car from the Delray location of Enterprise, but it quickly became clear that the vehicle had serious mechanical issues—it was leaking oil and jumping dangerously. When I went back to Delray, they told me they didn’t have any cars to switch me into and advised me to go to the Pompano location, where they said they had inventory.
When I arrived at the Pompano location, one of the associates confirmed they had cars available. While I waited for him to finish assisting another customer, the assistant branch manager Thomas Upegui approached me and rudely asked how he could help. I explained the issues with the car, and instead of resolving the problem, he told me to go back to Delray and claimed he wasn’t obligated to switch me out. His attitude was dismissive and rude, and despite the fact that I saw him switching out cars for other customers, he refused to help me.
I can’t help but feel that my skin color may have played a role in how I was treated, especially since roadside assistance had specifically instructed me to go to Pompano to resolve the issue. It’s beyond frustrating that, after visiting 10 locations, Enterprise still didn’t care about my safety or the mechanical problems with their car.
To make matters worse, after roadside assistance escalated the case, I was told to wait at the branch. Instead of helping, the assistant branch manager threatened to call the cops on me—for following their own instructions! This experience was not only deeply unprofessional but felt discriminatory and unsafe. Enterprise clearly doesn’t prioritize customer safety or treat all customers equally.
I will never rent from Enterprise again, and I urge others to be cautious. This company doesn’t care about your safety or your experience.”
“If I could put a dot I would never a star Enterprise has been a company that has been vicious with their customers all around I am now 53 years old I have been using Enterprise since a young teen and I use them sparingly only when no one else is available because of their practices. So this time I did not choose Enterprise but my company did for work The work that is most important is FEMA reconstruction of a state city or town that is what I'm here for to work for FEMA to put North Carolina back together but unfortunately Enterprise decided not only to have a contract with my company they did not honor anything that they stand by first of all don't believe the lies that they tell on the internet and I don't know how they are able to place that s*** on the internet and it's a total lie So let's go down my rabbit hole I get in at 6:09 to work from vanguard FEMA they reserved my car The young lady takes my card turns around and ask do I have a return trip I don't have a return trip because I'm working a disaster meaning I don't know when I will return back to my place because I'm putting up yours but this young lady still charges my card and refuse to give me a car Now enterprise is giving me the runaround for $685 that they have taken from me which does not allow me to get another call with another company which does not allow me to eat which has me stuck in a state that I do not come from with not one resource of help I have called their hotline three times It's a hotline of placation they placate and never deliver on anything that said on their website their customer service is garbage that ethics are in the trash You are horrible company and you are horrible people If you think that the world is going to continue to work like this I hope your company falls You have stolen from me and will not give me my money back and surprise you are a thief and if I do not have my money in five business days I will pursue legal action and I will sue the young the very young lady who stole my money for you.You are a deplorable company You do not need to be in business because if you're going to hinder the reconstruction of a disaster area just for money and then your prices are so different between my company in your internet you overcharge my company I decided to try to get another rental car and you all come up with the same car you were going to give me at a cheaper price $400 versus $685 you are robbing the people You need to be a chamomile yourself anybody who owns this company needs to be very ashamed and if you're not that type of person that steals from the poor that steals from the working class that keeps you in business I pay your taxes so you don't have to If you cannot pay homage to the regular people who keep you in business you need to be out of business I am here a 53-year-old woman stuck with no resources cannot eat because you have stolen my money and giving me the runaround. Horrible company horrible morals . I'm stuck with no money or food and now I've lost the job I came for and I still can't get my money from Enterprise. What goes around does come back .”
“After Hurricane Milton the only bright spot were the employees of Enterprise of Drew Park, Tampa, Florida. The service was conduted with a smile. Options were given such as I wanted to rent a economy car but none was available so they gave me a full size car at the cost of economy. Check out and check in was quick and problem free. I also want to mention that Alex and Carolin were very friendly and helpful as were all the other employees. Enterprise will have me for all future car rentals.”
“I can't express how utterly disastrous my experience with Enterprise car rental was. It was a nightmare that no family should ever have to endure.
I booked a Toyota Tacoma, believing I could rely on Enterprise's reputation. When I arrived at the counter at Enterprise Buda, I was blindsided by the absurd demand for a visa on my Australian passport—something that should have been made clear beforehand. After wasting 20 precious minutes on this nonsense, I was told that the Tacoma I had booked was simply unavailable. As a family of five traveling with an 11-month-old infant, this was a complete catastrophe.
To make matters worse, the branch manager, Katy Patterson, was particularly rude, unhelpful, and dishonest. Her attitude was dismissive from the moment we approached the counter. Instead of offering assistance or understanding, she treated us as if our concerns were trivial. It became clear that she had no intention of resolving our issues.surrounded by people who seemed completely indifferent to our desperation. We were facing a flight the very next day from Austin to Houston, and time was slipping away.
From 5:15 PM to 11 PM, we were left in a state of utter panic, frantically searching for a vehicle. I called the Enterprise call center multiple times, pleading for help, only to be told to go to the Austin airport—where we were met with the same cold rejection. It was infuriating!
After what felt like an eternity of stress and anxiety, we finally found a car at another rental company in San Antonio. This experience was not just inconvenient; it was a nightmare that put our entire trip in jeopardy. The lack of professionalism and empathy from Enterprise was shocking. I will never trust them again, and I urge anyone considering their services to think twice. You don’t want to risk your family’s plans on such an unreliable company!”
