First off: Harry in Customer Services deserves five stars for service, listening and general all-round expertise. He's excellent and was happy to talk at a technical level with me to help me understand data usage on the account. But the overall customer experience at the moment while the company goes through a merger of systems is shocking. There's a crisis going on with user accounts not working which is leading to the support teams being overwhelmed. So here's what you need to do: fess up. Put a notice on your website to tell users and investors what's going on. Make sure you have the right people on your crisis team to manage your comms to the key stakeholders: customers, staff and investors. You're listed on AIM and the problem you've got is that AIM stocks with any kind of free float can become very volatile at times like this. And hang on to Harry and all of the other people you've got keeping the floodwaters at bay.

This company has changed its name to BigBlu, probably in hope of distancing itself from all the incredibly unhappy reviews associated with the Europasat name. Alas, the ploy is doomed to failure. Customer 'service' remains utterly dire. I've sent 7 requests to be 'invited' to sign in to the new BigBlu portal, and every one of them has been ignored. The old Europasat portal has been closed, without warning or apology, and only a curt note suggesting I contact BigBlu to remind them that I'm a customer. Since the portal is the only place I can monitor bandwidth usage, I have no idea when I might suddenly be cut off, or have internet access speeds slashed. Why any company should make an incredibly important resource unavailable before it provides an alternative shows the extreme contempt Europasat, now BigBlu, apparently has for customers. Clearly BigBlu, like Europasat, has little understanding of how customers use its 'service', and still less desire to make it rewarding. It is a real shame that Reviews.co.uk does nothing to alert readers to the fact that Europasat is now BigBlu: the name has changed but the appalling customer service remains the same.

Customer service is appalling. Unfortunately they are the only service I can access in my location so I am pretty much held hostage. If you are lucky enough to have a choice of broadband providers, don't choose Europasat.

Terrible after sales service and was misnsold, Was told about capability about monitering internet useage that does not exist remotely. Now the cables have come out the back because they were not crimped correctly. Waiting to hear about an engineer that might visit to fix the crimping issue, but if its like waiting for the installation it could be a while. No confirmation emails, no service.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Never answer phone calls whether to sales, customer services or technical team, have still not resolved outstanding issues from over a year ago, email system doesn't work, password reset doesn't work, huge errors by billing department repeated over and again - basically if anything goes wrong, you're on your own and no-one cares. Unfortunately there are not always alternatives.

We were transferred over to Europast when they took over Satellite Internet and have received zero customer service thus far. Our internet has been terrible for three weeks now, and I have called, requested call backs and emailed but NOT received the call back I was promised. We have not been given a portal of any kind to check our account/data usage etc Looking for an alternative service provider. Don't use Europast!!!!

Just avoid this company! The service was intermittent from the start and we paid over £700 to have it installed. I cancelled the service in January only to find that money was still being taken, despite calls and emails assuring us that it was cancelled, I eventually had to close the account to stop payment. Its over six months since I cancelled the service and I've been offered £49.99 plus £20 for the dish although I've yet to receive a refund of any sort. I cannot emphasise how much hassle and inconvenience we've experienced. We're at the end of our tethers and considering legal action. This is a ZERO star company.

Everything has went wrong with europasat from the start to what’s not even the end! To start with I called up to make an account and was told that day I would have internet, it didn’t get sorted till about three months down the line. The customer service is shocking constantly on hold and so cant get anything sorted. Thankfully I’ve left europasat and moved to a property where I don’t need satellite internet but they still keep taking money from my bank account for it even after cancelling my account in February, and to no surprise I call up to complain and I’m put on hold or passed onto someone else, they won’t even reply to emails. I seriously wouldn’t recommend them and anyone else I have spoken to said the same thing.

A dish fitted without waterproof connections so the service has never worked and despite promises, Europasat haven't sent an engineer. We've been trying to cancel the service for over four months. Even this hasn't happened and we've had to cancel the account to stop any more payment being taken. Despite repeated promises, we've never received a refund. Customer Support is non existent. We're about to take them to court to get our money back.

Si I pay these guys €1,200 for speeds of about 3 to 4k?? I then try to contact them and am kept on hold for 10+ minutes. Customer service - that's a JOKE.

VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SUPPORT OFFERED. EXHAUSTED MYSELF LISTENING TO "YOUR CALL IS IMPORTANT... BLA BLA BLA". WAS ON HOLD FOR MORE THAN 10/15MINUTES ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION AND ISSUE STILL NOT RESOLVED. REQUESTED CALL BACK SERVICE BUT STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED A CALL BACK, EVEN AFTER 5DAYS. VERY FRUSTRATED WITH THE SERVICE OR LACK OF.

Useless accounts system. Have rung several times to get errors rectified. I am assured errors will be corrected but they are not. I don't ring anymore - I insist on email communication so that I have something in writing.

I have been a subscriber for some time as I live in an area which cannot be connected by normal broadband. When I first was connected I had a reasonable connection - not good but reasonable. Recently the connection has gone from bad to worse. I have been witout signal for five days in the last week. I have finally contacted a new service run by Vodaphone.THey checked the strength of the signal they could get and compared it to Eyropasa. Guess what they found. My signal should be more than double the strength. I ask your prospective customers to think twice, Their service is rotten. No help from their website. I will be paying less for an unlimited service that works from Vodaphone than for Europasats terrible and ver limited service

I wish I could put no stars I have had no reliable internet since June last year it’s awful my account number is 13964. And they still expect me to pay I shall be mentioning them on my show. RUBY LOGAN LIVE on 2ndcityradio next Tuesday at 7pm

Terrible service, poor follow up, lack of contact. 1.5mbps download speed isn’t good enough. Have disconnected and moved to mobile broadband for half the price and 30 times the download speed.

For 6 months Europasat took money from my account for a duplicate contract I didn't know about (I never received any invoice for it). When I spotted the problem, they promised to repay me the 635€ (!) they took abusively within 2 weeks. 2 months later, I only managed to get 1/3 of that from them after threats of legal action. They still owe me hundreds of euros but just play dead. And they're still making payment requests on my account for the fake contract (sometimes for 3 times the monthly fee) and the one I signed but cancelled! Best of all: I don't appear to be alone with that problem. They must think that's how a decent company behaves.

I was charged twice (standing order, THEIR mistake!) for my October monthly satellite service (Tooway 25GB/month) I'd been subscribing to for a bit more than a year. After noticing it, I sent countless support tickets, that all went unanswered. I spent more than €/£10 and 25 minutes on the phone with UK support to sort it out. Three months after my first support ticket, and two weeks after being told by the Finance dpt that I would be refunded shortly, still nothing. Apart from the very excessive waiting time, the people I talked to were pleasant. But the follow-up is appalling.

The Saga Continues with this company !!!!!! Pulling my hair out - what's left of it. They take money out of your account without authority and for no reason, once you leave them they continue to do this and when promising refunds don't pay them !!!! I have email confirmation from the 6th Dec 'I have also arranged a refund of £169.98 which 1 have escalated to one of the Direct to get this actioned asap for you' from Heather, all seemed well and she was very nice and sorry for all the stress, etc. etc. On the 11th Dec I get £89.99 paid into my account, no explanation where the other £79.99 is and after numerous emails still no reply or response !!!! I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole, worst thing ever getting involved with them - nightmare!!!!
