My contract change was explained to me in detail as to how and when it would take place and how the new internet usage could be viewed and worked. All very clear and professionally done

The staff at the end of the phone are always very friendly and helpful it's just a shame it usually takes a few attempts to sort issues. Also on the whole the service is very expensive if we had another option for broadband it this area we would probably take it.

Hi Michael. Thanks for taking the time to respond to our survey. We are really pleased that you are happy with your satellite broadband system. Satellite will be more expensive that standard ADSL broadband due to the amount of funding that has been ploughed into the new Technology. However, we are hoping that this will reduce as the option becomes more 'mainstream'. We do not offer a truly unlimited data tariff. Kind Regards, Europasat Team

Excellent! Our internet speed is far beyond expectations. What really impressed us was Paul from IsleSat who supplied and installed our equipment. His knowledge and professional skills were second to none. Nice to find someone so dedicated in this day and age. I highly recommend Paul (www.islesat.com) and the Tooway product.

Most of the time I am fully satisfied. Just sometimes the speed dies off and I get a lot of buffering on videos. BBC I player is ok as you download first and then playback, but I have to watch ITV progs in short bursts. Having spent a lot of time running at 56.7k on dialup, I really have no complaint. Apparently, tho, the new local service with fibre optics is very fast, but is still using the old cable from the exchange out to the hamlet here, and given the number of line failures we get, I think we are better off with satellite. (They do however supply free French TV and free phone calls, with unlimited broadband for about 37€. )

Carl Munday did a wonderful job for me. Right from the off when I had the trial, he was very friendly and helpful. When we finally decided to buy, everything went very smoothly and I'm confident if anything does go wrong he would rectify the problem asap.

When I first started receiving the service I was very happy, connection speeds were good and the service was reliable. Since then, connection speeds have dropped, latency is poor and the service is worse than the 1mb connection I was receiving via broadband. The connection speed tested two days ago was less than 1mb each way. In short, when the bandwidth is there, which is rare during daylight hours, the system is OK. Most of the time the connections speeds coupled with poor latency make even the most basic tasks impossible. If I could turn the clock back I wouldn't bother with this service. The high price doesn't justify the quality of connection.

HI Matt Thanks for taking the time to respond to our survey. We can see that you have been receiving speeds as high as 12Mb today. Can we ask that you contact the Technical Team if you are experiencing slow speeds and they will be happy to investigate this for you. However, the speeds you receive is affected by the amount of people on the network at any given time as this is a shared network and for this reason, we cannot guarantee any kind of headline speeds. This is also why your speeds may be lower during the late afternoon till late at night simply due to the amount of people using the bandwidth. If you have particular concerns, can we ask that you call our Technical Team when you are experiencing the particularly slow speeds and they can investigate for you. Kind regards The Europasat Team

Moved from a local island internet provider as unhappy with them, couldn't watch anything online or listen to online music etc as would run very slowly and cut off continuously. Their customer service if any problems was dire, if you could actually get in touch with them. I love this satellite internet service as can now watch youtube and listen to online music and watch videos easily, I also can have a few pages at a time open and it is a much more reliable internet service provider. Great that I can check my usage when I want. It is a little more expensive than my previous one but as long as it remains at this price am very happy to continue using it.

Excellent service. How ever I made my purchases some 18 mnths ago. Excellent technical back up, run by a very experienced manager, Francios. Its as good as it gets.

In response to leaving feedback I was emailed to suggest I contact the Technical Team. Part of my feedback concerned the fact that I had done this (numerous times), and promised call-backs and solutions never materialised. I don't want to have to constantly be trying to chase for solutions and a better service, if you promise to call me back you should do so! You promised a business class service with good connection speeds and we don't get this. We get numerous "page failed to load" errors when trying to connect to web sites. Internet banking and other sites that require a secure connections often drop out and get page load errors - really frustrating when you are trying to initiate transactions. Ironically, even connecting to our Eurpoasat account page generally causes page load problems. Simply not good enough guys. You want to speak to me? Then do me the courtesy of calling me back when you say you are going to! --- Previous review... Very dissapointing satellite broadband and response to problems and complaints. We paid up front for the equipment (about £300) and pay £60 per month for a satellite service that works badly and has numerous problems. When we call to report problems we are promised call backs but they never happen and no solutions are ever provided. The system is slow, drops out, won't load various web sites or pages (something to do with the way the satellite system breaks up and reformats data), and is not the business class service that was promised. Really fed up with the lack of interest Europasat show to us as customers and how poorly the broadband performs.

We were told by orange france that there was no way we would be able to the internet other than by the telephone line. having the big dish and our broadband with europasat has mad life a better for us. the service we receive was and is excellent. Thanks
