Refused refund/exchange on some trainers that were missing a part of the heel. Blamed wear and tear (even though they were a month old) Totally ignored consumer rights act. Had to contact my bank to issue a chargeback on the transaction to receive money back. Do not buy anything from this company. There are plenty of other shops to go to.

POOR COMPANY, don't take responsibility of faulty designer goods, blames the customer with no evidence. Said can get 2nd opinion from them. A 2nd opinion should be by a independent company and not by flannels who will blame the customer

Absolutely disgusted in the customer service received. I would go as far as saying I received an unforgettable experience. Within my review I will be describing people by their sex as Flannels staff are not obliged to provide their name or display a name badge. This has been also confirmed through contacting customer services. Firstly, there's no contact number for this store for a reason as there's ZERO aftercare. I purchased a pair of sliders which within 15 days of purchasing became (what I believe as..) faulty. The glue on the outsides of each slider came loose. Upon entering this branch, a female staff accepted the item as faulty and allowed me to search for an alternate product whilst a manager processed the exchange. Upon returning to the desk with a replacement; I was advised by another colleague (female #2) of the same level, the fault is deemed wear and tear. The soles of the sliders were brand new and had never been worn outdoors. I advised they have been worn twice only indoors. The female then passed the transaction onto another colleague (female #3) who along with the other two staff failed to provide a name. She did however advise she is a supervisor and that no managers were present. I then challenged the supervisors opinion that anything worn even once falls under a blanket wear and tear category which means theres zero grounds for a return unless the product fell apart in the box (not possible). The quality and workmanship can only be tested by using the product. God forbid, I used these outdoors or on holiday; they would have fallen apart. The initial female (#1) who was dark skinned avoided the situation and moved away as she could clearly see I was now being targeted by female #2/#3 who showed a clear disregard to the situation and using bullying tactics to suppress my queries. I immediately felt targeted for challenging the opinion with justified reasons. I proceeded to ask how I could identify the two, to customer services, but was quite rudely asked to just leave. Before leaving I took a description of the lead individual to feedback as part of my complaint before the staff escalated to becoming verbally aggressive and slipping out her name as Kat. I proceeded to leave after being told I'd never be welcome ever again (Why Kat thought I'd ever want to come back other than for a refund is beyond me). Upon exiting a young member of staff felt the need to put his hand on my back pushing me out whilst I was pretty much out the door. This will form part of my complaint and be evident on CCTV. I have a record of contacting customer services and having confirmed that stitching/glue coming apart is definitely deemed as faulty especially associated with sliders regardless of use. Upon carrying out research, I have found there to be a reoccurring theme in Flannels returns/exchange policy as a whole based off customer feedback. I just hope I had known this sooner. I have now logged a formal complaint and will return to purchasing direct from the manufacturers or using credible retailers such as, Tessuti. Judging by the masses of negative reviews stating complaints are not being actioned accordingly; I will be taking legal action.

Stolen £1,300 from me. Having to take them to court. Ordered two coats around the 20th November worth approx £1,300. I never received the package, and they are refusing to refund. I have been chasing for two months and dealt with totally incompetent customer service who have lied consistently and every time I receive a response it's an entirely different story from them. Do not order from here, read on for further details. The package was due to arrive in mid November, and while I was away I received notification and a photo showing the parcel had been left outside the front door of my flat, despite me not agreeing to have it left there (who would agree to have items of that value left outside their front door in London?). Upon returning to my flat the parcel was no longer there. I checked with all my neighbours and no one had seen it. I contacted Flannels straight away who then opened a case with DPD. Over the following two months they've come back with numerous stories, including: The parcel is in the cleaners cupboard. The parcel was nicked by a cleaner. The parcel is at a DPD pickup shop. The parcel was discovered by a cleaner and then I'd told DPD that I now have it and they can close the case. And finally, over two months and more lies than I can count later, that it was left outside my neighbours door (no longer my door, even though the photo clearly shows it's my door) and that this is now considered a civil matter and that I should speak to my local authority about it. Absolutely disgusted by the service provided from this 'premium' retailer. I've given them enough time and information to help them resolve the matter, and today have been told that I won't be getting the coats I ordered, or a refund. Unfortunately I'm going to have to take the matter to court myself, but please don't ignore the other 1* reviews on here, and avoid these scam artists at all costs.

Inconsistent store policies. Some exchange online orders - some won't even change the same item for another size. We buy gifts and our own items regularly and rarely needed to exchange. We would've simply exchanged, but service and consistency were shoddy so returning online orders for full refunds and don't plan to use flannels again. Plenty of alternative sites and stores to appreciate our custom.

This firm needs to be shut down ASAP, there quick enough taking your money but when you're giving the run around because you haven't received your next day delivery and you're still fighting them for answers 2 weeks down the line on your lost item, you get no feedback from them and you certainly can't get your money back through no fault of your own, I've been told to get RESOLVE involved so that's my next step.... Wouldn't recommend FLANNELS to anyone Avoid if you wish to keep your money otherwise they will

I submitted an order to Flannels totalling £230. I did not receive confirmation of a delivery date from either Flannels or the courier. The order was allegedly left on the doorstep when I was out but was not there when I returned home. I contacted Flannels about my missing order and after 30+ days they have just sent me the following message: "Having looked into this, I can see the courier have confirmed the below. Due to this, we would not be able to offer a replacement/refund for this. 'We have authority to leave as per our contract with you, this was left securely out of sight' " As no one was home when the unscheduled delivery was allegedly made, the item was not left securely. I did not give authority for the item to be left on the doorstep. If Flannels has a contract with their courier whereby they can make unscheduled deliveries and leave expensive orders on the doorstep if no one is home, they should do so at their own risk. Through no fault of my own, I did not receive this order. It is incredible that Flannels would expect their customers to be out of pocket because of a ridiculous contract they have seemingly agreed with their courier. I will never order from them again.

I went to the Sheffield Meadowhall store to buy a present for my son in law. I was told by a female member of staff that they’d fetch it for me to look at. 20 minutes later I had to look for her and ask where it was. she said she’d been busy and chase it, which was fair enough so I waited……another 25 minutes before having to look for her again. Only to be told they didn’t have the jacket in stock in the size she’d told me 45 minutes before they had! That should’ve been warning enough I paid extra to have the £350 jacket delivered in time for Xmas. I was told it would be delivered to my neighbours should I be out which was perfect. The day of the delivery they didn’t leave it with a neighbour they simply put a card through the door. I received no further updates so I contacted Flannels via live chat. I was told that my item had been left outside my front door and their courier had taken a photo to prove it. Left outside the house, in the middle of the day a £350 jacket ! When I explained that it wasn’t there and hadn’t been taken in by a neighbour they said they’d raise the issue with the courier…. Over two weeks later and their still waiting on an answer from their courier…..and now their customer services representative is taking me for a fool by emailing me back the same things I’ve sent as a complaint about him. So unprofessional for a company that regards itself elite enough to sell such highly priced items. I’ve had to raise the issue with PayPal as I’m getting nowhere with these people, as appears a common issue from what I’m reading here. I’ll certainly never buy from them again and they need to realise that, without the ‘customer’ in times like these, they won’t have a business for long.

The Newcastle flannels store are selling shop soiled goods and passing them off as “brand new”. Bought my wife a Gucci handbag for Christmas for over £1,600.00 GBP, my wife didn’t want the shop display bag so the girl behind the counter ordered a “brand new” one online to be delivered to our hone address. When opening the present on Christmas Day it turns out the bag we’ve received is a shop soiled ex display bag. On returning this bag to the Newcastle flannels store the girl told me that all these Gucci bags are in the same condition as they have been doing the rounds circulating since the store was called Cruz. The customer services department have washed there hands of me and my complaint. DO NOT BUY FROM FLANNELS.

Ordered an Acquia di Parma item and when the item was received it was in an unsealed box and a cheap hand cream inside. I provided numerous pieces evidence to them to provide they have supplied my goods in an unsealed box etc but no, they have concluded their investigation stated the goods were checked on dispatch... how if the box should have been sealed!! This was also a Christmas present and would have been extremely embarrassing on Christmas Day had I of not checked. When i tried to express my upset on the phone i was told to not talk over them and was completely shut down. Someone within Flannels or your supply chain partner (DPD) is either fraudulent or negligent. Having looked at trust pilot last night, i was very concerned about how Flannels handle there complains and the 'fob off/ generic emails' customers have received when flagging incidents like this, i decide to go and have a look today at other retailers to see how the item should be received when new. I quickly found that the way in which I received my item wasn’t right. They told me they checked CCTV at the warehouse and the item was checked before dispatch and the item opened to check the correct item was inside!! HOW .. the item is meant to be sealed?? Its a face cream and should be sealed! which completely contradicts the whole argument. I was so upset with the response I was receiving when talking to them I could only get upset and angry and ended the call calling them frauds because that exactly how it feels. I ordered these goods in good faith, and they are calling me lair and that i’ve done this. I am a customer and somewhere in their supply chain someone has been dishonest, and they are putting the blame on me. Something like this has never ever happened to me before, I’ve always received the correct items. If you are a honest person stay well away from online ordering you will only be upset. You only have to look at the numerous complaints of this nature. I was really shocked with the tone of the person on the phone, giving me an robotic scripted response, i asked to speak to someone else and was told no. I work for a large retailer and this is not the way you treat any customer. I will be continuing to share this experience online. Flannels - you have just wronged a very honest person. I appreciate in this world their are dishonest people, but i am not one of them. Shocking..

Unfortunately I cannot leave no stars. Ordered a jacket in the sale last week and received an email confirming the order, also paid for next day delivery. The next day I received a mail saying the order was delayed, okay I can accept that but to my disappointment the next day the order was cancelled as the product was out of stock. My surprise to check the website and find the jacket on sale but at full price, tried numerous methods of contact( couldn’t find a phone number)mail sent and still no response. How can this company send confirmation of an order then cancel it, really poor customer service. I’ll never use this company again

Absolutely disgusting that a retailer like Flannels do not give refunds, I wasn’t told when I purchased a Ralph Lauren shirt size S otherwise I would have bought it as I wasn’t sure of the size, it’s too big and they don’t have XS. I won’t be shopping here again stick with John Lewis who always give refunds no question. So I’ve got to accept a credit note even though there’s nothing in that store I want, absolutely diabolical customer service, and after reading some of these reviews it’s not just their refund policy that they have a problem with. Avoid at all cost!!!!

I ordered a ring from the Flannels sale and received an empty box. I contacted customer services to report it, and their response after looking into it is imply that I'm a theif. We have always shopped with Flannels, Van Mildert etc. But after this we'll not be using them again. Had they appologised and said there was nothing they could do I'd have accepted that. Having looked at other reviews it seems I'm not an isolated case, nor have the majority of recent posts been positive. Speaks volumes.

I processed a purchase online and emailed the customer support team after 3 minutes of my purchase to request a change of size. The response I received was a disapproval of my request. The customer support team refuse to act upon my request. My question is: “what is the purpose of the customer support team”? I was not given the privilege to cancel or make changes to my order with 24 hours of the purchase.

Shocking company service as well as rules. I have never encountered such unprofessional customer service and company policy. Clearly, the fault lies with Flannels, their side to return the goods is not working, and they have no alternative for customers. They told me to send back the goods at my own expense, where the shipment costs £ 6.99 on their website. For me, at the post office, they valued the parcel at £ 20, because I have to declare the value and the fee increases. When I asked if I could return the goods to a stationary store, they replied that I could not !! I have not seen such a poor policy of the company yet. In addition, a company that sells luxury brands on its website and in stores really does not count to the customer. I will just add that even the staff in the store in Southampton has no idea about brands, they do not know about the products. When I asked the company to generate a return label for me and send it to my e-mail, they replied that they did not do it.
