We Brought our sofa over a year ago we took insurance out but been told that my cushions Have turned mauve because it’s facing the Sun !!! My sofa is facing the TV I’ve been told there is nothing they can do about this no one even came out to look . And then I get a email saying if I can prove it’s a manufactured fabric fault they will look into this . This surly is there job to sort this out that’s why I paid 250 insurance 😡 All I wanted was for them to replace 3 cushions now I have a £4000 so far that is mauve and grey . This is disgraceful by your company over the years I’ve spent a lot of money with yourselves and so have my in-laws but now we have learnt our lesson don’t trust your company and I’m sorry I will let the public know that you will not help me replace my 3 cushions even though it’s not my fault This happened to my table that we ordered at the same time problems with that as well and my in laws sofa was delivered with the wrong cushions Disaster after disaster after disaster So so up set

Purchased an very expensive Italian Nicoletti sofa and 2 arm chairs - paid over 3.5K. Ordered the suite in June and it arrived late in September. The most uncomfortable sofa and arm chairs we have ever owned. Avoid Furniture Village at all costs.

Thieving company taking our money and not sending a replacement. DO NOT USE. Stupid, terrible, ridiculous, rubbish, unprofessional company. Ordered a 3 seater sofa and a cuddler back in November 2021, said it would arrive 20 weeks later. And so they did in April 2022 with a malfunctioned cuddler and the three seater sofa's spine completely broken. They told me we don't have to do anything, they logged it and the company will resend a new sofa in however long. I chase the village up several times and I explained we require a replacement for the sofa and we need someone to come round to take a look at the cuddler as it isn't working electronically. I was then on the phone to someone else a second time and had to explain myself the situation, worried this time the message was not getting into them as they can't understand the very simple situation I am in. They managed to send someone round to fix our Cuddler, and at this point I am praying they are getting our replacement sofa ready for us. 9 weeks pass, no word from the village, I get through to their customer service and the woman tells me no replacement is on its way! Nothing! And what is worse, the type of sofa we requested doesn't even exist anymore. My partner and I have been in our cold conservatory during the winter and during the summer boiling whilst we wait for the Village to send our replacement sofa so we can finally use our lounge we haven't been able to use since Christmas. This is a terrible company who don't know what they are doing and would have got away with over £2000 of our money if we just kept waiting and waiting. DO NOT USE.

I would give less if I was able , my order number 249 184 931, sofa arrived with a biro mark on the cushion, I have dealth with 5 call center staff who all request the following as shown , and they have no interest in resolving this follow my advise shop elsewhere as problems they do not want to deal with, I have sent images twice , but ellie states she is unable to open in house emails rearlly and sent this email , rearlly, is this the standard/ benchmark for furniture village, over a month of going round in circles, I very regret dealing with this company , I also have to work, and they do not respond to complaints as in there website , terrible experience, frustrating and very annoying

Shocking company. Terrible customer service. Had to get manufacturer involved for faulty goods. They forced Furniture Village to take it back and refund us. They made an appointment to call and issue the refund after 10days and then didn't keep the appointment. Still chasing them. Absolutely shocking lack of customer service.

I went to Furniture Village in stevenage and was met with exceptional customer service. Very friendly and accommodating. Fast track 12 weeks on still not sign of the bed I ordered and despite being promised by the manager that he was personally chasing it up 24 hours before delivery they cancelled blaming it again on the supplier. When I phoned up to chase the first time I was met with such rudeness on the phone by another member of staff and despite reassurance given by the manager I am still 12 weeks in without any guarantee of a delivery date. This bed was for my son. I would advise against using this company. I ordered my own bed through marks and spencer and they delivered when they said they would.

Bought a so called 100% leather sofa and two armchairs, after a few months the so called leather started to peel off, it was on the side of both middle sofa cushions, when complained to them they said it was due to the friction using the recliner! What a stupid excuse.

Absolutely awful. Ordered two sofa's a dinning room table and 4 chairs. All items are in stock and will be with you in a week I was told. One week later the sofa's and the table turn up with no chairs. Sofa's won't fit up my staircase due the packaging I was told that if packaging is removed the delivery people won't move it. I can't move a sofa up a staircase on my own Have no choice but to return it and pay 25% cancellation fee even though the item was in stock. When I asked where my chairs are just keep getting fobbed off and told rubbish if anyone ever bothers to answer the phone. Been promised 3 separate times a call back from a manager to find out where my chairs are 2 weeks of being messed about and £1000 taken of me and still nothing. Avoid avoid avoid the company and the staff at the Trafford park branch completely incompetent and unprofessional. Never again

Terrible: awaiting for a bed since December, been delivered multiple times to the Warrington depot and sent back, totally incompetent staff. To top it off just spoken to the rudest telesales person ever RHIA. A total, 'computer says no attitude' still awaiting on the bed!! should have received 26th December. I must have rang 10 times now, the latest is that my husband has to flag down a parcel force driver to ask for help, he locates our latest bed back at the Warrington base when it should be at our home. Rhia response ' everyone is on their break' Customer service training for this lady is essential. Every other team member i have spoken to has been apologetic, courteous and with a full time line of explanation. Rudest girl ever! Sofa bed which has been used a dozen times max over 18 months. The bed had a bent hinge so after 3 months of chasing, 8 calls, 1 returned call we have up and accepted the FV offer of £500 (£800 purchase price) despite being under warranty as they couldn't replace the part. They just do nothing and hope that you accept they insulting offer they make... And this time they were right

New sofa ordered, wrong one turned up, several weeks later, correct sofa turns up smelling of spicy food. Our sofa had been in someone else’s kitchen for 7 weeks and they delivers it to us and hoped we didn’t notice. Terrible aftercare, beware!

No stars!! I ordered a sofa from their MK branch & was told it was in the warehouse and I could have it a couple of weeks time. I got a phone call from warehouse saying sofa would be delivered on Good Friday, I was happy because it was less than two weeks. Then the day before I get a phone call saying your sofa won't be delivered because it hasn't gone to a certain warehouse! Then I get another delivery date and again the day before get the same phone call!! Not happy bunny now!! So I ask am I ever going to get this sofa? Answer... When it gets to a certain warehouse.. don't hear anything for another week so ring again to find out to my alarm that they have LOST my sofa!!! How can you lose a sofa?? So I said I want my money back.. I was told by the manager that you have two options 1. Come back and chose another sofa & they would do a deal or 2. Have your money back, but no compensation!! I wasn't going to go and get another sofa... So got my money back. They do not care about stress, time off work for delivery etc.. once they have your money they don't give a dam!!! If I hadn't chased this god only knows how long they would of liked to me... Never stepping foot in their shop again - definitely won't recommend them. Customer service was awful, they need training on customer care. Awful experience 😠

AVOID AVOID AVOID 0 STARS 0 starts, the company has no customer care what so ever. After being sold by the rep in buying these firm solid recliners and spending lots of money, after just 4 months you would think we have had them 4 years, the sponge has lost its padding and is like sitting in a bucket and does my back no good getting up. They send a guy out who clearly said (TO US) there was an issue with the larger foam seat pad and that there had been movement, but according to furniture village the report came back fine... we even have photo evidence..... after sending further emails and asking for a copy of this report they are now not responding, awful company. Avoid at all costs.... View yourself on tiktok just search parkiv86 and you will see it....

Perfect sales pitch, awful after care. We have a manufacturing fault with a bed which Furniture Village have agreed with however the shop dont want to help with a like for like replacement and customer services are aggressive and are equally as unhelpful. Please dont waste your money with them, they are a nightmare.

Furniture Village is not a great shop according to my experience, I place and order on 29 December2021 the guys on the shop said to me maxi 5 weeks delivery bed and mattress, after 5 week the guy started change the world he was said to me on top of that I wait for another 6 weeks plus previews 5 nothing , I request my £500 deposit but there said no refund or we charge you to refund I said ok charge me and refund the balance , but up to now no one respond , no refund, as you read my letter is the second letter I send to this guy name on the letter but he also don't care about my query. so the letter is just to put on review so anyone can read I don't have money to take a solicitor, but that my money continue to be used for the interest. ELVIS NGATOM To the Supplier Furniture Village 150, Kingston Road, New Malden, Surrey, KT3 3 RD MY ORDER REF 03454231: 382629938 Dear Sir, Madam I come by the presence of this letter you signify my dissatisfaction. On December 29, 2021 I came to your store selling chairs and beds, after several thoughts I decided to take a king size bed so you would find a copy of the contract. that day the person who received me was called Ross from customer service, so I chose my bed with mattress and I made a deposit of £500 and he confirmed to me that the delivery time was five weeks maximum, being confident of what he told me so I left, so a week before the fifth week I call to be sure that I will have my delivery at the end of the beginning of the first week of February, but at my great surprise I receive a call from a lady named Jayne so I could be wrong. she tells me that they can deliver the bed to me without a mattress and that I should choose another day for the delivery of the mattress and there I said no it is not possible and that when I ordered mr Ross had me says we deliver both at the same time, in the meantime I find a little time and I go to the shop the time to have more information and this mr Ross reassures me that I will be delivered soon and I ask for a delay he does not answer no, so I'm going home. in the meantime I made several calls to the number 03301655575 to find out what level my order was at and each time nothing reassuring was said to me. one day I receive a call from the guilford store that I will be delivered on Friday February 18, 2022 being in joy I contact a charity to give them my old bed and they came to collect it on February 17, 2022 at 11 a.m. but to my great surprise that same day I received a call from the guilford store and it was a man who spoke to me and said sorry we can't deliver to you tomorrow and the reason was that he still didn't have a mattress, knowing that I took off this day of February 18 to wait for my delivery, what a loss on my part. I call the shop to find out why all this trauma has led me astray and this day it's still mr Ross who speaks at the end of the line and reassures me that on Friday February 25 I will be delivered with all the guarantees, so I still take a day off which is this February 25 so he said, to my surprise I have no delivery and know that in the meantime I sleep on the floor since I had given my old bed to charity. so I went to the store to ask for my deposit to be refunded and that I no longer wanted this bed and that it had already traumatized me too much and that I lost two days of work to wait for a bed, it said that we can't reimburse me and in an arrogant tone he tells me this you have to wait for your bed and he will come and deliver you. I therefore left in a rage and I called Hitachi personal finance at the number 03443755500 to express my dissatisfaction to them and that I want to cancel my application and the refund of my money and the lady with whom I spoke told me that she will send an email and to cancel. and this happened on March 3, 2022. on March 10, I received an email saying this: good new your bed and mattress would be delivered on March 11, 2022 between 8:30 am and 12:30 pm. I immediately called to say that I no longer wanted this bed since you had traumatized me with it and that I had already called for reimbursement, that day the gentleman with whom I am speaking said gently that we do not can no longer reimburse me or else he will charge me for the cancellation fees and I said yes do and reimburse me the difference, but as of today I have still not received anything. the question that I ask you is to know about the contract you say after 14 days the customer can no longer cancel the order, but why after five weeks delivery time so you do not respect the customer is not entitled? So for me it's just abuse. the only thing I ask of you is to refund my deposit, since after five weeks you had not delivered to me and I waited another six weeks which makes a total of 11 weeks just to deliver a simple bed and mattress, so cut the cancellation fee and refund my remaining money. I ALREADY APOLOGIZE FOR THE LENGTH OF MY LETTER AND THE GRAMMAR ERRORS GIVEN THAT MY FIRST LANGUAGE IS FRENCH. Thank you for your time and consideration and hope you would look at my complaint. the sofa was delivered with a ripe in the bottom and i was told thats normal for crumbs to fall out!!After sales is rubbish. i bought a sofa and just a few months later the cushions are flat and it looks old. i logged a call and rang but 4 months later still nothing in fact i have had to order a new sofa from else where as this isn't comfy at all and with not help cant wait to get rid of the sofa to the tip and steer clear of Furniture Village.
