We spent £13000 on two sofas a dinning table and accessories. Well it's an absolute disaster: Wrong sofa ordered Wrong sizes ordered on both sofas Three months waiting for two lights and lamps when arrived damaged No correspondence E-mailed ceo no reply e-mailed daily for seven days Promised that complaint would be raised and investigated never happened Took day of work to meet with store manager who was then not in store when we arrived Phone calls Promised never ever phoned us Appalling service Going to ombudsmen BBC watch dog The sofa they delivered this week is completely the wrong size Jeff avery Store Bristol

I have never bought from furniture village before but i ordered two sofas and they were delivered within the time scale. They were delivered with a really bad fault photos were taken by delivery drivers, they said it would past on???? After several phone calls , apparently siber attack then system down its now a Month ago i have paid in full they delivered faulty goods and no one now answers the phone!!!! Do NOT spend your hard earned money with them. I will take this further if I have to . .

Ordered Bedroom furniture beginning of Feb, when placing order and paying for goods in Full were told delivery would be 5 weeks , then sent invoice stating 6-8wks ,after 9 weeks got a msg that the wrong colour had been sent and they re-ordered ( without checking with me first). and that it would be with me by the end of May. Now every time I ring and eventually speak to someone they tell me all lines are still down....after 4 weeks !! Am clearly being Fobbed off .

They take your money, do not answer calls or emails, and when you do get a response on Facebook or their website they lie to you. I think they may be circling the drain. DO NOT buy from this company. They are a bunch of lying con artists. If you have placed an order, cancel it. Take it up with your Bank or Credit Card Company, lodge a complaint with Watchdog and the Financial Ombudsman.

I am so shocked by how many bad reviews there about this company and only wish I had researched before becoming yet another victim of there god awful customer service and literally ghosting their customers. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!

I would give 0 rating or less. The worst company I have ever dealt with. Very happy to show you around showroom, take your order, take your money and then you wait wait and wait. No one bothers to answer calls, the managers are never available. I am totally disgusted... I would never set foot in a Furniture Village store again. Nearly 11 weeks and I am still waiting for delivery of my bed and sofas. The worst shopping experience in my life!!!! No respect for the customer once they have taken your money.... Shameful!!

If I could I would give 0 stars. WOEFUL, AWFUL company. Went online, made my order, took my deposit for my order (Big deposit at that). 10 weeks later, the sofa should be delivered next week, I have only now just got through to someone on the phone at furniture village after trying for weeks who has now informed me that the individual fabric we chose for our sofa has not been in stock, It will take a minimum of another 10 weeks to arrive. (SHOCKING). I would not recommend anyone to order their sofa from here. Lovely products. Diabolical service.

My sister in law ordered a TV unit on 03.11.2020, was told it was in stock, and would be delivered on 27th November, along with another item (2 tables) from a previous order. The tables finally turned up in March, the TV unit is supposed to be arriving 9th July!! These were paid for in full at time of purchases. First excuses were blamed on Covid causing difficulty moving stock around to the distribution centre. Now they have told her the container from China!! will dock end of June. They have never satisfactorily explained what happened to the "in stock" items that were there on November 3rd. She has had to do all the chasing on this order, they rarely phone back. She dealt with Head Office store in Slough. The CEO does not reply to emails, their customer service is appalling, she would happily cancel the order apart from the fact that this TV unit matches the rest of her lounge/dining furniture, and it would be difficult to get something similar. I have noticed they have almost stopped responding to reports on Trustpilot and Facebook, and have actually blocked me from writing anything on Facebook!!

Placed an order in February the online staff were really helpful. This lulled me into a false sense of security as from that moment onwards it’s been terrible. I ordered two stools they sent one and that was damaged. It’s not able to be resolved because the customer service is just terrible. No way of getting through on the phone get cut off. Emails not replied to. I am now asking my bank to get the refund as I paid by credit card thankfully. What else can I say other than avoid avoid avoid !!!

Hate to be a scaremonger I bought a bed and mattress poor quality complained threatened to post on you tube they delivered on 22/02/21 refused replacement they collected items 26/2/21 got my deposit back 10 days later after numerous calls cancelled my direct debit for finance as first payment was due but I had no goods hitachi finance still waiting for paperwork which should take 2 weeks I am still in talks with hitachi as far as they are concerned I should be making payments until they receive the paperwork something really dodgy going on at furniture village

Hopeless! No communications, no delivery nothing! Many promises after MANY hours waiting in a que. Quite insincere, rude and untrustworthy! NEVERE again. I hope the company goes bust. There are many other companies that will fill the gap.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. I have been trying to contact them phone and chat to find out when I will reveive my online order. What I have ordered was due to be delivered on 05/06 and both me and my husband took the day off for this reason. No one had the decency to contact me to apologise and reschedule. I still don't know when and if I will receive it. So I would strongly recommend TO DON'T ORDER online from this company. Personally I will never again do business with them.

I bought a sofa from the stock on purpose because I have not where to sit at home and after 3 weeks I am still waiting, the can't still sort the hacked after more than 2 weeks, pathetic

We ordered a sofa and two chairs in May on line and were informed delivery would be around 14th of June. To our delight our furniture arrived at the warehouse earlier than anticipated and we arranged a date for delivery 2nd of June! The recent cyber attack prevented delivery that day but after contacting the warehouse a few days later, very helpful and apologetic staff, were able to locate the order and arranged prompt delivery the next day! The delivery men were friendly and efficient and the furniture was received in perfect condition. A very happy customer! Have bought from Furniture Village before and would again.

Waited in all day Thursday for delivery, nothing arrived nor a phone call. Eventually someone at store answered my 10th phone call. Informed me their computer had crashed last Saturday and they were unable to make deliveries, not able to explain more than that. As a result two seventy year olds have to suffer no chair to sit on. Still no contact as to what is happening, very keen to take our money but no customer interest at all. RUBBISH company warn others to avoid handing over your money to such a PATHETIC outfit. Would give zero star if I could

I ordered a bed in January 2021 it was meant to be delivered in March. March turned to April and April turned to May and then I got a delivery date for June. On the day of delivery, no sign of my bed (i have already got rid of my old bed). I called the Dartford store and no answer. I was hung up on when I did get through. Phoned the general number and told my order is not coming as their systems are down and they could not access my contact details to let me know. They also have no idea when everything will be up and running. Terrible service. I want my money back!!

I ordered 3+2 sofas with the three being power recliner. Was told 17 week delivery. It turned out to be 24weeks. The 2 seat sofa had bad creases in the leather at the front. I complained and took photos. I was contacted and was given the choice of £100 a repair or replacement. I opted for the replacement. I was told it would take 9 weeks. I received a call from customer services to say my replacement would be delivered yesterday and that I would be called on Tuesday to be given a 2 hour time slot and another call on Wednesday when the driver was 30 mins away. This would have made my delivery 10 weeks.I received no calls and no delivery. I tried to phone got message saying lines were down. I emailed no response and eventually got to talk to someone on live chat who told me he couldn’t access my account as the internet was down. When I asked how he was on live chat was informed live chat was provided as a service by another company.

No communication whatsoever from Furniture Village on my furniture which has been paid for in full, waiting in all day for delivery last Tuesday.Told on live chat all systems down unable to help.No idea of a delivery date.Kept on telephone hanging on for someone to answer. Could someone make a public announcement and please let customers know what exactly is happening and when your systems will be working again please.

No customer service nobody phones back lost my order paid a deposit no phones what a joke so I'm left in limbo can't get my order as nobody now's we're it is and can't get my money back as they have no phones

Having spent over three thousand pounds on furniture, I am absolutely disgusted and appalled in the poor and totally unacceptable aftersales/customer service from Furniture Village. Our powered reclining chair seat flattened within one year of use. I phoned Customer Services who passed me to the store where it was purchased, to be informed I needed to send photographs of the chair seating to another department. I sent the email three times and still received no reply. I rang the store several times, no one answerd and I left answer phone messages, again, no one returned my calls. I eventually got hold of a member of staff to whom I insisted that I spoke with the store Manager. The Manager informed me that I had to do the same as I had done previously, to which I informed him that this service was extremely poor and not what a paying customer should experience. The Manager then arranged for a technician to come and see the chair in person (this took two attempts, as the first time they did not keep to the arranged time). The Technician's report had mistakes, poor English, and grammar throughout. I rang the store again, left a message for the store Manger to ring me. Yet again, no phone call for days. Eventually the Manager did ring and said he would ring me again after he had read the technician's report within 48 hours. Another week elapsed, no phone call! I rang the store again and managed to speak to the store Manager, to whom I raised my strong concerns. I did eventually get a full refund on the chair. I informed the Manager that I wanted to make a formal complaint about FV and his appalling customer service attributes. He would not give me a name, number, or email address as he said it breached Data Protection. I will now be escalating my complaint with the Ombudsman. Reading the numerous other poor customer experience comments on this review site, is most concerning. I would hope that senior personnel read these comments at FV, feel embarrassed and address in rectifying the totally unacceptable customer service throughout all departments at FV. I will never set foot, or recommended FV to anyone.
