Absolutely terrible aftercare. We bought a bed (not in the sale) 7 weeks ago. The bed and mattress was delivered and aired as per the store instructions. 7 weeks later we are still waiting for it to be replaced because the smell is so vile we do not want it in the house. The store will not deal with aftercare, you will have to go through to a central team. When you finally get through to the central aftercare team, they never call you back when they say they will and fob you off with ‘as per policy’. I’m now waiting for an engineer to visit my home and write a report. Only then can a decision be made as to how they propose to resolve my issue. Buyer beware!.

What are disgraceful way to treat a customer ordered a sofa and chair as was told delivery time was up to 16 weeks, we hadn't moved into the property then but didn't want to miss out on the sale price, when we moved in 12 days later discovered that the chair would not fit, rang them 3times before I got someone to deal with it, they charged me £200 to cancel the chair off the order, how can that be right when all they had to do was ring the supplier if it takes that long to be delivered chances are the don't even have the order, BE WARNED I will never use them again

Joke of a company DO NOT USE... RIDICULOUS TRANSACTION FROM DAY ONE... PLY YOU WITH COOKIES AND ACT ALL NICE TO SELL YOU A RUBBISH SERVICE. BROUGHT A SOFA AND BED SPENT A GOOD AMOUNT OF MONEY... TO START THE BED TURNS UP THE WRONG COLOUR AND DAMAGED... AND NOT ASSEMBLED.. AN OTTOMAN BED THAT REQUIRED ASSEMABLY ON DELIVERY LOAT HOURS OF WORK HAVING TO REARRANGED TIME TO GWT THIS SORTED SLEPT ON THE FLOOR FOR 4 NIGHTS WITH NO BED CAUSING A FLAIR UP TO MY SCIATICA. THEN NEXT CAME THE DAMAGED SOFA! ONCE AGAIN NICE STAFF THAT GIVE OUT THIER PERSONAL NUMBER AND OFFER HELP ANY TIME.. SOON CHANGE THIER ATTITUDE WHEN SOMETHING IS WRONG... RUDE AND BLUNT AND NOT HELPFUL AT ALL.. WE WERE TOLD A TIME SLOT FOR WHICH WE HAD ARRANGED WORK AND MOVED EVERYTHING TO FIT AROUND THEN THEY TURN UP EARLY BUY OVER AN HOUR AND HALF AND GET TOLD IF WE ARE NOT THERE THEN THEY WOULD LEAVE AND WOULD HAVE TO MOVE ANOTHER DATE... Rude customer service advisor called ROXANNA. Basically called me a liar and said I told the delivery people they didn't need to assemble a 60kg table! My partner is disabled and not able to use his hands (he was at work at the time) I assumed when they delivered and left that it wasnt part of the company. Turns out my partner said he had paid for it to be put together. I had already put together benches and stools however me and my son couldnt even put the table top out of the way, let alone lay it on floor, attached the stand and flip it over. I recieed a call from ROXANNA basically telling me it was MY FAULT. She would do an exception as they didnt have to come and resolve the problem and we would now have to wait another week. We have already waited 13 weeks the problem is we have a dinner party tomorrow which was planned to host weeks ago as our kitchen was being done up. I was not happy to be called a liar, she was shouty on the phone to be and basiucally just RUDE!

There should be an option to add a negative review They are absolutely ridiculous in terms of a fault or after service I had to wait 3 months for a dinning chair They were neither apologetic nor did they provide a reasonable compensation They only gave 79 pound for a wait of 3 months and for 6 defective chairs Please don’t opt for them

After care wa shocking i paid £8,000 for the three piece settee 1 year ago and the all te padding as gone flat an they wont do anything about it the gentele man was so stubbern its timto take them to court

Good at taking your money but after that it’s a nightmare they don’t answer the phones you have to keep going into the store after spending several thousands of pounds and getting sub standard products which they then blame us the customers for would never use them again or recommend them to anyone service is non existent avoid like the plague.

Bought Bed April 2019 for £2,554. In April 2022 it was repaired by Furniture Village. A year later it had fallen apart, and I had to put an old dining table on the divan to get the bed horizontal. Customer Services took many phone calls/emails and offered me a repair or £300, then £780. Furniture Village fought to get away with as little as possible and I had to get the Furniture Ombudsman involved who said I should get £1893 which they had to pay. Furniture Village are quick to make you a coffee and take your money, but their guarantees and customer service are worthless. Avoid avoid avoid!

They have delivered a partially damaged chest of drawers. Very expensive one. We've been on the phone with them about 10 times, getting frustrated. 3 months later they delivered the wrong replacement. I am done asking. Since I am a marketer, I am going to build a landing page with an attractive lead magnet and pay for the traffic. I will create a great Anti-Furniture Village Campaign, find all unhappy customers and invite them to leave negative video reviews. Let's see how Furniture Village likes it when people fight back!

We bought 2 leather sofas which arrived last November. By January the stitching in parts was freying. Homeserve came to "repair" it, but within another month it was back to how it was before. They sent someone else out again, who said it was not a maufacturing problem, but excessive wear?! How exactly has that happened in a matter of months?? We have been told by Furniture Village we can seek legal advice, if we don't like their decision to do nothing. In the meantime we are left with sofas that we paid nearly 4K for, which look shabby

Bought a sofa arrived 6 weeks overdue with a broken leg, had to fix it ourselves as customer service didn't get back to us. The trust pilot reviews are suspicious and I wouldn't believe them do not buy from them , and if you do you were warned

I found a small defect on my new sofa and reported it to customer services as soon asit was noticed about 2 weeks after delivery. and reported it .. I was told that customers only have 7 days to report a defect otherwise they will not repair /replace it. Wish they had told me that when I bought it. Seems to be good cop out of avoiding guarantees and promises of a quality product and service are forgotten after 7 days. I would never recommend F.Village to anyone after this. They just didn't want to listen or even acknowledge they delivered a defective item .

Please do not believe all the good reviews you see on Trustpilot. They are a load of nonsense. I have had the most appalling experience with Furniture Village. Like many people here, I have found their Customer Services to be lacking in wanting to help customers resolve any issues. Writing to the CEO is just as useless. No one in that company is interested in listening to any issues. They are only interested in getting your money. After that, whatever goes wrong - they will not do anything. I bought the Fenchurch Bedroom Furniture. I had the 4 door tall mirrored wardrobes delivered and built on the 26th May 2023. I immediately noticed damage. This was reported to the fitters and Furniture Village. Just over two weeks and Furniture Village ignore emails, never return calls, do not listen to any requests and are vague when you speak with them. I still have no idea what is happening with this damaged furniture. I was willing to get it repaired, but I have lost confidence in them. I then asked for them to come and take the damaged furniture away and new furniture delivered. No response so I have now asked my credit card to refund me for these goods. Unbelievable the lengths people have to go through to get a response from Furniture Village. Do yourselves a favour and keep away from them. Will save a lot unnecessary hassle. I just do not know why Furniture Village behave in this manner. They cannot possibly get returning customers. They do not even deserve the one star given!

The wrong item delivered back in Dec 2022 and it took 6 months to correct their mistake and I had to chase them. I was offered a £30 refund for the inconvenience after spending £3k It does seem they could not care less once they've got your money. Avoid, poor service

First bought the Dante leather 3 piece, 100% leather. After being delivered I was not convinced it was all leather. The sofa on one side seemed to droop so Castletown came out . I asked the technician if to the suite was leather and he confirmed no it was not. Went back to store and chose the Cressida suite , paid extra for the better leather. Big mistake, so uncomfortable and still not convinced this is a 100% leather. I h ave had Castletown out several times regarding the cushions padding which started to fail after 3 months only to be told nothing was wrong. I will not be ordering anything from FV ever.

Our dining table is 4 years old, its grey with a pattern impressed in it, so obvious this had not been sealed properly because the paint has lifted in parts leaving bare wood. It does not sit in the sun, i clean it with damp then dry cloth. We did expect a new table but even after inspecter came out, furniture village offered £150.00, 🤔 that was good of them wasn't it, it cost us £1400!!!
