Cancelled my insurance within two days. As they called up to say that they are going to charge me £1200 to change the detail about where my car is parked overnight. Had to pay £120 just to get it cancelled when I only had the insurance for two days! Absolutely ridiculous! Do not waste your money on this stupid company with rude staff!!

Would give 0 if i could. Expensive to stay insured with them and even more expensive to leave. Was told i had to pay over £600 to change my car or cancel my policy and get back pocket change AFTER they take their commission and other fees

I wouldnt give any star for them. Thats the worst company in the Uk! Rude customer service, hidden costs...They charged me 20£ because I late 3 days with the monthly payment...They had charged me about the milage as well after 1700 miles even though I paid 5000!!! I needed to buy another 4000 miles for 200£! Thats ridicluous because I still had more than 3000miles but they wanted to cancel the insurance! Stay away from this company! Pay more but dont choose them!!!

AVOID AUTOSAINT AT ALL COSTS! I have been insured with Autosaint for 9 months, after passing my test in Aug 2016. two weeks ago we decided to purchase a new car and notified the insurance. They told us they would need to get the black box changed over from the old car to the new one with a cost of £220 which we though was a tad high but continued anyway. The engineer came to fit the box yesterday and immediately we could tell there was an issue as he walked round the car taking pictures which I felt was very intrusive. He then began to fit the box and then came up to the front door and said he couldn't fit it as the car had been modified, as the interior door handles had been painted red by the previous owner. I proceeded to call Autosaint and was met with rude customer services and was treated badly by the team leader. They said i will loose my one years NCD and my insurance was now void. I struggled to understand how red door handles would affect me in the event of an accident? the lady on the phone also didn't have an explanation for this. I asked could i return them back to standard they said no they still wouldn't insure me. Alongside this during our policy there were many hidden costs such as extra mileage charges which we were not notified about and was quite shocked to find on my bank statement. This company are taking advantage of young drivers! we did not believe the reviews at the start but now we regret it!

Autosaint were really happy to accommodate me and were really helpful in guiding me through insuring a car. Charlene provided excellent customer service dealing with me on a regular basis and being patient and understanding!

False information on blackbox, asking for ridiculous amounts of money on second year even when I drove perfectly fine with good scores yet makes no difference. 100% would not recommend going with this company, make sure you look up for terms of black boxes before having them installed.

Repeated warnings about breaking and speed that when challenged you just get that it has been verified. You feel like they are bullying you every time they send an email. One day they rang me to say I was on a final warning and an hour later they said that they were cancelling the insurance due to going 1 mile per hour over the rules when I had not left the house. Communication by email slow or non existent. Not even sure who the actual insurer is. Do not be tempted to use this company pay the extra and stay away from Telematics black boxes. I am sorry I did not look at all these reviews before I used them.

My Daughter had a phone call whilst she was in work, telling her off for speeding twice within 10 minutes on the previous day. This upset her as from day one she's been a very careful driver as she truly values her independence, knowing what a luxury it is to have the use of a vehicle. The speeds given were very excessive, but the interesting point was that the car was actually parked at the house when the speeding events were alleged to of taken place, and in fact the vehicle hadn't move all that day. We had no apology from them for the mistake, and later on we saw that her driving score was then damaged. We kept the policy as it was paid for until it expired. Needless to say we have swapped to another company with no black box. Our advice is if it's the only way to get insurance have a black box, but challenge straight away any incorrect recrdings.

I was told I would be saving money by getting a telematics box, that was definitely not the case with all the extra charges! Do not recommend it's works our cheaper to pay to not have a box!

Communication within this company is non existent!! There have been problems with every appointment we've had regarding the black box fitted in our daughters car. The 1st made be Autosaint, no one turned up! According to Autosaint the appointment didnt exist despite email conformation. The 2nd made for an afternoon, the fitter turned up in the morning! Again email conformation! The 3rd appointment was an 8am-1pm appointment. No fitter turned up and after three phonecalls,(1st call, no record of an appointment could be found by Autosaint) Eventually it was said that the telematics company had booked a PM appointment even though the conformation Email clearly states an AM appointment. All this was apparently sorted for another appointment next week with more conformation Emails etc!........ Today we get an Email saying Autosaint has been trying to contact a number of times and the policy will be cancelled in seven days unless we get in contact to make an appointment!!? Our daughter has taken time off school and I have taken an afternoon off work to meet these missed appointments.

For good driving AutoSaint will provide you with "a discount" on your next insurance policy with them... what discount? I have found several cheaper insurers and they obviously haven't given me a discount Awful service liars!!!

PLEASE do not touch this company x took out daughters insurance within a week a black box was fitted x we drove the car 3 times for about 10 minutes and got an email staying she was driving at a dangerous speed funny as she never got out of 2nd gear and that she was posing a risk others x BOLLOX x we have cancelled the policy being charged £60 cancellation fee and £180 for the black box x no mention of any of this when took out the policy x Thank you for making my Daughter now scared to drive the lovely car we gifted her for her 17 th birthday x Please please please don't make the same mistake as we did a fantastic gift gone sour x

AVOID AUTOSAINT!!!!!!!!!!! I am currently a learner driver and got an insurance policy with Autosaint. Had a black box fitted into my car which was fine until I had an email saying that I was driving at dangerous speeds and I was at risk to others. Well I was in the car with one of parents on the 3 occasions I had driven my car and I was defiantly not driving at risk to anyone. The email said that they would cancel my policy if I continued to drive like this. We had also received no insurance documents about the insurance apart from the email that was threatening to cancel my policy. Due to having the black box fitted I have lost some confidence when driving and I felt uncomfortable driving my car. Have cancelled my policy now at a cost of around £300 when we were told that cancellation cost was £60. Additional costs were added because I had a black box fitted, surprise there was no mention of that in previous conversations. Also £58 for the time period that I had the insurance. I defiantly would not recommend getting an insurance policy with Autosaint and would tell people that they are only in for the money and like we experienced costs will only go up!!!

Auto-saint insurance have legally robbed me! With atrocious customer service and extortionate prices the service they offer to customers is appalling. Be aware any claim made no matter who is at fault is likely to effect your insurance premiums by around £400-£600 which I have learnt first hand. In July 2016 my car was written of by an elderly man, I was not in the vehicle and the vehicle was deemed to be parked in a safe place. 7 months down the line and auto saint have now told me I cannot claim my one years bonus putting my insurance from what should be "£867.33" with the 1ync but instead I am being forced into and peer pressured by this corporate thieving companies to pay somewhere in the region of £1400, I wouldn't just not advise people to use there services but I would preach to people not to, there level of customer service is outrageous with 40+ minutes spent on hold on their phone line. Not happy anymore.

Please listen to reviews and DO NOT even consider taking out insurance with this scam! You will be lured in with their cheaper insurance quotes (in particular the younger drivers with higher ins) and then result in paying more money for hidden charges. I took out insurance with them to be told there is a date discrepency as to when I took the insurance out (a couple of days) and therefore my £90 a month will go up to £109 and I was unable to cancel it. A few months later my monthly payments suddenly went up £113 without any contact at all, they couldn't give me a reason why this had happened. Overall I now pay £240 a month MORE than I signed and agreed to and will only have to pay extra to leave the insurance. My car broke down and was no longer road worthy and had to be scrapped, to change to another car there was an ADMIN FEE of £80. If you want to be robbed of all your money, with rubbish customer service and minimal cover then choose FRESH!

Absolutely disgusting. Im 19 years old first car first ever insurance, insured all fine asked if MYSELF made any modifications to the car which i said no to as i brought it 2nd hand and made no changes myself. They took £350 deposit for then to tell me they cant fit the black box because i have tinted windows which is a modification however this was done by previous owner and i made them aware of this. Now they refuse to give back my deposit before even though my policy hasnt started and also making me pay £60 cancellation fee. Have sent email complaining and will be on the phone to a manager about this tomorrow. Daylight robbery on young drivers advitise low prices but never make you aware of extras. Rude staff which need customer service skills! Stay away.
