I am not one to ever leave negative reviews, but I have been trying to organise something with your business banking team for over a month and still nothing, literally no one cares. This is beyond imagination. Lloyds does absolutely NOTHING for small businesses. If you were to ever consider taking an account as a small business with Lloyds, I would strongly advise against it.

NO EMPATHY NO COMPASSION POOR CUSTOMER SERVICES They blocked my mother from her on line account after attempting to pay a invoice on line. She phoned bank and went through security questions she then requested that I spoke on her behalf, was then left on hold for an hour during which time my mother went on a medical appointment I was then told that my mother needed to answer additional questions and that I could not answer these on her behalf as a result my mother has been left with no access to her account and is unable to even buy herself a cup of tea.

Horrible phone service. I tried to switch to Lloyds but it failed. The message they sent me included a wrong telephone number which was not the LLoyds switching team but Halifax. And after I got the correct LLoyds switching team telephone number through internet service, it took forever to get someone to talk to. The worst part was when you got through the hotline, the category selection was so unclear that you could easily go to a wrong category. The staff was not helping at all. They said to transfer my call to another team but they just transferred me back to the category selection so I had to manually select another category and wait for someone to pick up the call again. Not to mention in the first 3 days I failed to get someone to talk to. I could never reach anyone in the afternoon. I had to get up early to make the phone call eventually. It was a horrible experience.

I have had several problems with Lloyds. First of all the customer service is abysmal. You wait at least half an hour to connect a call, even if it is important like a stolen card, then the staff are rude and impolite. In addition to this, the card itself is dodgy. Mine has been retained by an ATM machine twice, leaving me in a very difficult situation. I also receive a very very annoying weekly email from Lloyds titled "We want you to recognise a fraudulent email". How many times do you have to send this! I have opted out of all email communications yet still receive this rubbish each week. Banks are also unethical as they have shareholders that profit out of other people's money - in a building society the company is owned by its customers.

It's a shame I can't give zero stars to Lloyds Bank. They are unable to handle a basic request posting a paper statement. It was meant to take upto 7 working days - but it has been a month now. Using their online & in-app complaints process has not helped at all. I've contacted them a number of times have not had a single callback. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS BANK

Lloyds are clowns. My parents died and rather than help they made it as difficult as possible. 5 different phone calls from 5 different people with 5 different stories. Then denied it like an NHS doctor who murders kids. The car was damaged when my died, so obviously made a claim, but as i am US citizen they would not cover me to drive, and as they are clearly tighter than black horses butthole on there logo, they would not even fork out for a hire car as a gesture of goodwill. 100 quid. Despite it being part of the policy....

Very disappointing experience, you are nothing but a number to Lloyds! I have a personal account with Lloyds Bank for number of years. Doesn't matter how much banking you do through them you are nothing but a number to lloyds and they are just going to treat you as such. Have had a awful experience and obviously not going to be with them anymore! It just happens to be that I am a owner of a multi national business group that is growing rapidly. I have no faith in lloyds treating my business or my colleague any differently, hence will be moving all associated accounts to somewhere else

I've been a lloyds customer for 8 years( never owed them a penny). I sold a phone online and received payment into my Lloyds current account(180£). After that my account and all my funds(over 1500£) have been suspended for 5 days so far and stil going. I wouldhave understand the blocking of that transaction only but blocking the funds for my FOOD RENT DIESEL FOR WORK MONEY FOR BILLS represents nothing but ABUSE!! PLEASE PEOPLE AVOID THIS CIRCUS CALLED LLOYDS BANK. FOR YOUR OWN GOOD. !!!

Hayes Branch 1-5 East Avenue, Hayes UB3 2HW. Very poor customer service as far as product knowledge or their own research on products is concerned. All they are aware of is 'DO IT YOURSELF ONLINE'. They arn't even aware that certain products are not available online at this point of time. Company needs to provide training updates to these staff on dealing appropriately with customers thorough knowledge of products.

Im with Lloyds for 12 years now. I have manage my business from my personal bank account for over 6 years. Now, in a very difficult time, they dont let me to open my business account to apply for the bounce back loan. I got all requirements it needs but even that they are not helping. But to call every month and offer insurances and to "upgrade" my account (to pay more monthly fees), they are the first ones. Very disappointed and frustrated with their behaviour. Moving from there soon.

Lloyds cut my overdraft facility from £2000 to £400 without consultation because I hadn't used it. I'm sure it was in response to Covid-19 because I'm self-employed and they believed I might be a finance risk. I made a complaint but the guy at Lloyds who dealt with it was arrogant and unhelpful beyond belief. They promised this would not effect my credit rating but since they did it my credit card offers have dried up. I feel demeaned and belittled by their action as though I am not to be trusted. It has effected my self respect and confidence. Their 'By Your Side' advertising is a joke and they ought to be done under trade descriptions.

Incompetent and unhelpful. Shambolic service with the poorest customer service at all levels. Unexplained delays in release of funds, lengthy call waiting and obstructive staff who give you the runaround. If you choose to bank with them, good luck. You'll need it!

Hello everyone, I can't help but share what happened to me the other day, I ran to the bank to put money in the account, it was written on the door that they were closing at 3:30, it was on Stratford, I was there already at 3:20 and the door was already was closed, I asked to let me in, but they didn’t even see me, I said that it was not yet 3:30 to let me in, a girl named Iren was very rude to me, it was so cruel I stood and cried at the door , I begged to be let in, and they all looked and laughed, how can you treat your customers like that, how can you not open the door at 3:20 !!!! they were all in a hurry to run home and did not do their job, I asked to call the manager and a certain Nigel Williams approached me, who began to explain to me that he could not help me in any way, he did not even listen to me, and I did not stop crying and explaining to him that I was not late, I was simply not allowed into the bank, he was like a robot of nothing human, he spoke learned phrases, I am ashamed that there is such a level of service in England and I am ashamed of you for all that there is nothing human in you !!!!

Worst customer service. Trying to assist 98 year old in transferring funds and the process is ridiculous. They make it impossible to take the money out. This bank should be avoided.

some of the lloyds policies are just AWFUL. having an account with lloyds for over 10 years, now during this corona situation i need a loan badly from the government to help my business but in order to do that I need to have a business account which is not possible to open one at this time. however they said there is an exception and we can help you open one if I want to apply for the loan but i cant cause my company is registered as limited and not a sole trader! what a stupid reason. every other bank help their customers during this situation whether they are a sole trader or limited but lloyds is the only bank that doesn't. I should have listened to my friends and closed my account ages ago in which i will as soon as this covid 19 is over. if your bank does not help you in situations like this then its time for you to look for a bank that supports in hard times. dont open account with them trust me on that.
