I've been a lloyds customer for 8 years( never owed them a penny). I sold a phone online and received payment into my Lloyds current account(180£). After that my account and all my funds(over 1500£) have been suspended for 5 days so far and stil going. I wouldhave understand the blocking of that transaction only but blocking the funds for my FOOD RENT DIESEL FOR WORK MONEY FOR BILLS represents nothing but ABUSE!! PLEASE PEOPLE AVOID THIS CIRCUS CALLED LLOYDS BANK. FOR YOUR OWN GOOD. !!!

Hayes Branch 1-5 East Avenue, Hayes UB3 2HW. Very poor customer service as far as product knowledge or their own research on products is concerned. All they are aware of is 'DO IT YOURSELF ONLINE'. They arn't even aware that certain products are not available online at this point of time. Company needs to provide training updates to these staff on dealing appropriately with customers thorough knowledge of products.

Im with Lloyds for 12 years now. I have manage my business from my personal bank account for over 6 years. Now, in a very difficult time, they dont let me to open my business account to apply for the bounce back loan. I got all requirements it needs but even that they are not helping. But to call every month and offer insurances and to "upgrade" my account (to pay more monthly fees), they are the first ones. Very disappointed and frustrated with their behaviour. Moving from there soon.

Lloyds cut my overdraft facility from £2000 to £400 without consultation because I hadn't used it. I'm sure it was in response to Covid-19 because I'm self-employed and they believed I might be a finance risk. I made a complaint but the guy at Lloyds who dealt with it was arrogant and unhelpful beyond belief. They promised this would not effect my credit rating but since they did it my credit card offers have dried up. I feel demeaned and belittled by their action as though I am not to be trusted. It has effected my self respect and confidence. Their 'By Your Side' advertising is a joke and they ought to be done under trade descriptions.

Incompetent and unhelpful. Shambolic service with the poorest customer service at all levels. Unexplained delays in release of funds, lengthy call waiting and obstructive staff who give you the runaround. If you choose to bank with them, good luck. You'll need it!

Hello everyone, I can't help but share what happened to me the other day, I ran to the bank to put money in the account, it was written on the door that they were closing at 3:30, it was on Stratford, I was there already at 3:20 and the door was already was closed, I asked to let me in, but they didn’t even see me, I said that it was not yet 3:30 to let me in, a girl named Iren was very rude to me, it was so cruel I stood and cried at the door , I begged to be let in, and they all looked and laughed, how can you treat your customers like that, how can you not open the door at 3:20 !!!! they were all in a hurry to run home and did not do their job, I asked to call the manager and a certain Nigel Williams approached me, who began to explain to me that he could not help me in any way, he did not even listen to me, and I did not stop crying and explaining to him that I was not late, I was simply not allowed into the bank, he was like a robot of nothing human, he spoke learned phrases, I am ashamed that there is such a level of service in England and I am ashamed of you for all that there is nothing human in you !!!!

Worst customer service. Trying to assist 98 year old in transferring funds and the process is ridiculous. They make it impossible to take the money out. This bank should be avoided.

some of the lloyds policies are just AWFUL. having an account with lloyds for over 10 years, now during this corona situation i need a loan badly from the government to help my business but in order to do that I need to have a business account which is not possible to open one at this time. however they said there is an exception and we can help you open one if I want to apply for the loan but i cant cause my company is registered as limited and not a sole trader! what a stupid reason. every other bank help their customers during this situation whether they are a sole trader or limited but lloyds is the only bank that doesn't. I should have listened to my friends and closed my account ages ago in which i will as soon as this covid 19 is over. if your bank does not help you in situations like this then its time for you to look for a bank that supports in hard times. dont open account with them trust me on that.

Clearly Lloyds can’t Keep up with the world issues. They can’t even keep Experian credit reported updated sufficiently.

The worst UK bank there is. Absolutely dreadful. I have been with this bank for a decade and I can not WAIT to leave. They are absolutely dreadful. Dreadful dreadful dreadful. Anyone is better than Lloyds. Terrible online banking, terrible lending, terrible mortgages, terrible customer service if you can even reach someone. It's safe to say I will never touch this bank again once I've left. 1 star is generous. Dreadful interest rates and dreadful attitude. Worst bank in existence.

I opened a bank account, they told my aplication is successful but after a second review a week later they told me they will close it, they should've told me in the beginning they can't do it.

I pressed pay someone new. Red box appeared asking me to update my profile. I checked my details on my profile, everything was correct. The system will not allow me to pay someone new. I went back into my profile and retyped the same telephone number that was there to see if that will sort it, but no. I called Lloyds. I was told that the tel no. I typed will take 48 hours before I can use the account. I have had to transfer all my money to another bank account in order to make payment to my creditors. Lloyds Internet Banking is RUBBISH. Lloyds bank should be closed down and stop them form trading in UK

They really are the most horrendous bank! We have baked with them for two years. We were outsourcing our payroll and decided to bring it in house. We recruited a finance manager and completed and sent the forms for her to have full delegate access for two of our four accounts. The forms were received by Lloyds 9 weeks ago. 4 weeks ago we tried to set up workers but it turned out both full delegate accounts were set up as view only. I called and they checked the forms and confirmed they had been completed correctly but not setup their end properly. They explained that this would be logged with the Internet banking department and they would resolve. 1 week later... still no news and I had to call.... they apologized and 2 days later 1 account was set up correctly but the other one still wrong. I called again, they said it would be resolved.... 2 days later no news. I called again and they told me they didn't receive the form.... interesting as they were in the same envelope and previously confirmed both forms were completed properly. At this point I logged all the issues as an official complaint. 3 days later still no news so called again.... by this point we had to pay the outsauce company to run the payroll for another week costing us £150. I was told the form was filled in wrong for the remaining account despite been assured they were both correct 2 weeks before. They said they would need to email me another form. Next day still no form... another call and they finally emailed the form. This was a complete joke as due to lockdown we now had to complete and post to each director. The good news (or so we thought), was they called and said if we email the competed form over they would change the account. So we did this and emailed over n the Friday 15th that night they called and said the copy wasn't good enough (it was completely fine but we did another copy and i told photos and resent on Saturday. Monday..... still no news, emailed again, no response, emailed again today (Tuesday)..... still no news..... another payroll missed. Dont go with this bank!! They are the worst bank I have ever dealt with. We are in the process of moving.... this is how they treat business with £5million turnover!

I feel disappointed and fustrated with the poor response I ahve recieved from the advisers working for Lloyds Bank. I have rang numerous times with the same enquiry and I have had a reluctant response to help me move forward. I will be cancelling my card and account with Lloyd’s Bank and will be changing to a different bank. I do not recommend Lloyd’s Bank for the younger generation as I feel as though it’s clear they have no interest in treating their younger account holders with the same level of respect and focus as those who are older, from speaking to their advisers over the phone this was very apparent.
