Poor distribution network for online delivery. Orders not met. Wrong item sent in place of an item that a ‘suitably qualified person’ could have done, according to their third email for my missing package

Went to get some goldfish and was told they wouldn't sell me any without my name, address and proof. Isn't that in breach of data protection? What about privacy? I only want a couple of goldfish.

Rubbish VIP Club a real con you never get anything worth having £1 off Royal Canin but you have to spend £40 or over never get anything for my boys birthdays never get a magazine I have five dogs and a few quid off would help now and then your points go to their supported charities they are expensive and have now lost me to the convenience of cheaper online offers and home delivery

Well done to pets at home, you say you like animals, imagine if you don't. Went to the shop, asked for A bag of Royal Canin anallergenic dog food, I was told in store "we only sell it online" OK fair enough. Went onlyne and order it, payed for next day delivery and nothing until the end of the day. Called the costomer service, it was off do to covid, OK fair enough too. Chated with them online, and had the best answer, we will return you the next day delivery payment, I asked who do i feed my dog? we can't do nothing it will only be delivered tomorrow. What about the dog how can I feed him? we can't do nothing we gave you back the next day delivery extra. Well done boys, what's the point of having good people working in stores, if in the offices you don't worry about our animals. Thanks.

I had a click and collect order accepted then cancelled by email shortly after plus a warning it might take 3 days to refund me! I rang the branch (Guildford) and the manager Mike apologised but also sorted everything out for me. Exceptional service from Mike. Thank you

Yet again my online order was late..the 1st order was weeks late, I contacted them they took ages to find my order number to then be told its on its way..already 2 days late! Again they blamed it on courier company! They weren't really bothered..I was hoping they would have improved from my previous orders..but no!! Very disappointed

I want to tell you about the awful experience I just had in your Loughborough store with my daughter. I bought a tank about 6 weeks ago. Set it up and left to run for 2 weeks as instructed. Came back with my daughter and bought 2 platies and a 2 bottom feeders and was told we could introduce more fish in a couple of weeks. I see my daughter every 2 weeks and this tank is our little project. We were then we were told we couldn't add any more fish today. Then the assistant relented and said we could but only 1 kind. Then we were told they would probably die and it was our risk. By now my 5 year old is in floods of tears. I was also told the gravel substrate isn't suitable for the bottom feeders we bought previously even though at the time I was told it was. It feels like your team all have different ideas about how to sell fish and your training isn't consistent. Firstly I would like you to direct me to a definitive guide to how and when I can buy fish as your team doesn't seem to have a clue and the criteria for walking away with a fish changes with every assistant. Secondly, I would like an apology to my daughter whos weekend has been ruined. All the hard work she has been doing at school was to be rewarded with an addition to her tank. Finally I would like you to make sure all your staff are on the same page in your loughborough store. BTW while all this discussion was taking place we saw 2 dead fish in your own tanks.

Every time I shop at Pets at Home it is a great experience! I manage to find the items I need and they are mostly in stock. I also love looking at the Guinea Pigs and other little animals and I could spend ages looking at them through the glass. When it comes to paying, the staff are always very friendly, what’s more if you have forgotten your reward card they will use your name and postcode to to find it on their system so you don’t miss out on any special offers. My only gripe would be that some of their Guinea Pig toys can be quite costly, they usually have a good stock of different toys and their selection of Piggy foods and treats are fantastic. Overall this store is brilliant for all of your furry friends needs.

Many thanks to the lovely Lisa at the Exmouth branch of Pets at Home. She was very helpful in supporting our new bed purchase for our lovely Murphy. Thank you Lisa for your knowledge, guidance and support. You have helped Murphy be a very happy boy. Lisa assisted us in joining the puppy club and therefore a discount was offered, always great to have a discount with a costly, growing puppy. I think Pets at home will become our 2nd home. Take care, stay safe and keep smiling

Stevenage store. When asked for advice for a small puppy food the puppy weight being 4kg and 2 months old we was given a medium sized puppy food for the puppy weight 11kg+. We told them it should be a small puppy size but she again said "no you need the bigger size". So on the advice of the so called expert we used it and it absolutely ruined my poor puppies stomach. After 5 days of constant diarrhea my puppy started uncontrollably shaking. So after an expensive emergency trip to the vets and carpet ruined due to his uncontrollable bowel movements as it just driped out of him ( he was puppy pad trained till this horrific incident ). Then when my partner went back and asked for an exchange to the small puppy bag he was shouted at and spoken to like a fool because they was still saying the 11kg+ is for my dog and not the 2kg+ eventho my dog is 4kg and laughing. I will not advise anyone to ask for any of there staff for advice unless you want to end up paying out a fortune but more importantly the pain and damage it caused my poor little puppy....

This company sucks. It took them 1 month to let us that the product is out of stock. Even 1 star is too much for. Careless, unprofessional.

Do not shop there anymore. Most of the staff are very unhelpful. Be as well talking to you dog or cat. No customer service at all. This the Renfrew store I am talking about. Linwood is a bit better but the stock is low. Do what I have done. Order online it is cheaper……..

Hurt isnt the word to describe how im feeling right now. I was just finishing my 8 hour shift at mcdonalds when i suddenly remembered i needed some cat food as i hadnt fed my cat in two days. Strutting into pets at home i was greeted by an older looking women maybe in her late 60s. She proceeded to sniff me and say i smell like horse poo. Locking eyes with her i began to feel myself tear up. How could my beloved trusted company do this to me? I felt rage come on me and i attacked her. I wasnt going to sit there and let a short fat old ginger women say that about me! Dogs were barking as me and the ginge scraped in the fish food isle. During our WWE mad fight she decided it was a good idea to scratch my eye. Blood began to pour out and i couldnt even cry. The security grabbed me and physically threw me out of the shop breaking my arm. Disappointed and stressed isnt the word. Its been 2 days and im still crying.

A menacing Monday morning I had just left my yoga class when I remembered I had to get some food for my uncles hamster I wasn't too sure what food to get so I anticipated for the workers help and advice little did i know this would be a day rom hell.. I entered the store In a genuinely happy mood which was ruined bay the fairly large blonde worker she was extremely rude and I felt I had been absolutely violated by her behaviour she made sure to insult me 13 times before single handily letting me know that if i don't own a hamster i cant buy food for it or i will get cancer I felt appalled by her vigorous behaviour and nearly cried in the spot. I let her know of my feeling and made sure to include how appalled I was however she must of took offence because she punched me in the knee making me fall and whimper in pain . She told me she felt no remorse and kicked me multiple times whilst I lay curled up in a ball at the rabbit food isle . I ;eft in a quite unhappy mood and made sure to spit at their hamsters and I cursed off every staff I saw on the way out and decided to cry in my car for the next hour. Overall I believe they are a horrible business and will never shop there again 0/10..:////

one time... understandable? two times... is it a coincidence? three times... IM DONE. I was utterly upset with the unhinged and disrespectful worker at pets at home I felt almost ashamed once I stepped foot in the hot gates of hell named 'Pets. At .. Home' I could feel a cool breeze cover my neck when i heard1 the words '100 cm is NOT enough' i felt so talked down upon by the workers almost like .. a child? A fairly large worker approached me I felt surrounded by its shadow I brushed my mahogany hair because I was so nervous. The deep and almost ghastly breath of the worker shut me away I felt the deathly smell almost gassing me after it opened its mouth' Get out ' It screamed . I only wanted rabbit food..?! I was punched in the nose I fell to the ground and whimpered in pain. I was so embarrassed what had i done to deserve this!!! Overall 1/10 supa annoyed and would never, ever recommended This filthy company to ANYONE!!!!

No problems with the couriers who delivers to me , they are very nice and helpful. This guys are having to put up with heavy loads in cardboard boxes that disintegrate, pets at home cares nought about the safety of the couriers. They could get hurt these drivers. No I want to moan about pets at home, the orders are never arriving in one lot, so I got a dab on Saturday, now today Monday I'm stuck at home waiting for 2 deliveries- this perhaps till 2.30 or beyond. I paid for my order without questions, that's 1 order 3 trips or more with so much packaging, it's unreal- now this, I have appointments to attend and I'm waiting to get the stuff delivered. I can't reschedule at so short a time, I'll have to wait more days yet again to . This will be my last order, it's not very eco friendly to start with, and customer care is not good. It's inconsiderate. We can't blame the couriers who must wait to be told by Pets at home when there a delivery, for when and etc. It's been ordered last week, it's a huge order for me but not really for pets at home. It's up to them to organised the deliveries properly whether the customer paid for the delivery or not. In this day and age we have to look after each other: so many businesses have disappeared, so many out of a job, it makes sense to look after the customers. In the meantime for me - it's stuck at home, all appointments off, waiting for deliveries with no end in sights. And yes I can confirm this 1 order took 3 van trips! Pets at home- this was my last order. Stuck at home waiting on you. And the boxes were threatening to open up on the delivery couriers.
