I have been given a date when it was done. Only then did they send a receipt which had a completely different date on it. It is in the hands of my bank now. I just really need my money back. I have bought a replacement elsewhere and wrongly assumed that I would have had my money back to pay for it . I am feeling very disappointed 😞 I don't want apologies I just need my money.”

I recently had the absolute misfortune of purchasing a Korg Pa4X from Gear4Music, and it was a complete disaster from start to finish. The keyboard arrived broken, and their nightmare customer service began.
Initially, they promised to repair it or replace it if that wasn't possible. So, I sent it in, and then... nothing. Weeks went by without a single update. After chasing them down, they finally admitted they couldn't repair it.
I provided a repair quote from my own technician and requested they return it to me, especially since the Pa4X is no longer available. Their response? They SOLD my keyboard without my knowledge! This was beyond infuriating.
After endless back-and-forths and horrendous customer service, they promised to have their sales team find a replacement. Predictably, they failed. Their “solution” was to offer me a pathetic £200 discount on the Pa5X, which still costs £500 more than buying it outright from other retailers. They expected me to shell out an extra £1000 for THEIR mistake.
This company is a disgrace. Their incompetence and utter lack of respect for their customers are shocking. Save yourself the agony and stay far, far away from Gear4Music. They are nothing but scammers!”
“It seems that there is no communication between these people. I decided to try and trade in some gear I bought from them a while back, and the price they offered was pretty low considering the items were in excellent condition and hardly used. On top of that they charge the seller a courier fee for picking it up which they then deduct from what they already offer you! The worse thing that happened was I came across another company online selling the exact same Ukelele that I purchased from G4M a week ago over €100 cheaper and when I sent them an email asking why this was got the email returned as undelivered. I’ve sent another email and not received a reply from that one either. Won’t be using Gear4Music again!”

“Awful unexpected hidden charges, be careful they may seem to be regional but its more like a small shop. They wanted me to pay 166 euros to shipping a product between there own warehouses. The local warehouses is 10 mins away from me - I could have happily collected it. The sales person is instructed not to enable any communication on this with a manager. More they want 286 euro for standard shipping and 166 for express shipping.”

Product bought and stopped working after 1 year of extremely light usage. It took 8 weeks for item to be collected, and 3 months to hear back from them. Product was replaced. Told that 2 year warranty would not be extended. Replacement product breaks down 1 year after light usage. It is now out of the 2 year warranty. The same product on the website has a 5 year warranty. I refuse to buy from them again. Terrible product and terrible customer service.”
“I bought a stage piano which arrived without a power adaptor or pedal as advertised. It took two weeks for them to organise an adaptor & pedal to be sent. After another ten days the stage piano stopped working so I requested a return for which I was charged £13:99 for faulty goods to be collected. The first collection company failed to arrive, the second refused to take the item as gear4muisc had failed to send any printable forms. The third courier collected the item after several phone calls to gear4music. It has been returned as I have a tracking number but I am still waiting for a refund. Appalling customer service. Do NOT use !”
“I ordered a keyboard package for my daughter's birthday gift. All items on the package were delivered apart from the actual keyboard. The delivery company TNT state on their tracking that they have not delivered the keyboard and the have an 'issue' I have contacted Gear4Music four times requesting they find out what the issue is or send out a new keyboard. I have been repeatedly told they will investigate and get back to me but there has been no resolution. Today I got a patronising email asking me to wait as sometimes packages get separated in transit and will be delivered a few days later. It has already been over a week since the first items were delivered and TNT have clearly flagged there is a problem. It's obvious the delivery company has let Gear4Music down but than to pass this failure onto the customer is awful customer service. I will now likely have no gift for my child on her birthday despite ordering well in advance. Why should I have to wait indefinitely for TNT and Gear4Music to find the lost keyboard? As it clearly states that it has not been delivered to me, Gear4Music should send out another one and fulfill the order I placed with them in good faith.”
