Wasn't sure how confident the tech was as he phoned his manager for info. Seemed to use same screen several times.

Tech was at my house for only 30 minutes and I was charged for the whole hour, basicly paid $145 to be told my computer is too old and need a new one, not very happy

We have had 3 visits with John and we probably could have had the work done in 2. HIs first visit advised us the current laptop would need to be replaced and we discussed set up etc.When he came to set up the new laptop my expectations was that it would replicate our previous laptop and we would not have any issues. The fact that I had to contact you to get our ESET put on and our email set up with our folders and contacts seems that our set up wasn't complete as he said. Our communication with each other would appear to be not very good. We hope that we do not have any future issues with our new laptop.

This was a major project to transfer data to a refurbished Geek "refurbished" machine. The assigned technician has indisputable technical skills, but regrettably his communication skills (EAASL) don't inspire confidence. I was disappointed that I had to ask critical questions that he should have freely given without prompting.$1,663 is not an insignificant investment. I have been a Geeks client since its inception and have been pleased with all previous interactions

I really liked Derek and his communication was excellent. However when you changed my appointment to Today I told you I had no flexibility to extend out other end. Derek arrived at 10.20 and I had to leave at 10.50. I find it unacceptable to be charged the whole hour and would like you to contact me with a solution to this Sue Saunders

I am still having problems with the logging in all the time because I have two logins. I only want the one. Scanning is not performing as I need it to. Need to get someone back in.

Very expensive hourly rate since taken over by Australian company (I have used Geeks since their inception) Generally good service/advice Currently exploring option of replacing aging computer with a new or "refurbished" computer from Geeks

Hi Neville, sorry to hear that you feel our rate is expensive. Just to clarify, we are fully owned by a New Zealand company. Good luck with the "Geek Approved" model, they are a fantastic way to get a highly specked device at a reasonable rate.

On his advice we agreed to have malwarebytes installed i have read some of the reviews it looks like the mcfee that we had is better also we did not get the gold card hourly rate

JP was knowledgeable however he was way too quick which turned out not to be that helpful. I wanted help with downloading music so I could listen via my fitbit, he said to use Spotify and then link up the versa on my laptop - tried it today and can't get it working - if he just took the time to do it with me then I wouldn't be feeling really frustrated today. Same with the tv - really fast clicking through but not actually showing me so I am no better off really. To be fair he did the backup and system checks on the laptop. Nice guy and definitely has good technical knowledge but actually didn't deliver half of what I needed which I have experienced before with Geeks on Wheels.

Technician was an hour late for my appointment today. Usually on time previously. When arrived things done promptly but still coming to understand new programme installed on my computer. Taking a bit of time.

Disappointed to be let down by change of Technician. Was not given any update as to when my new iPad was coming, when it was not delivered as promised when i agreed to purchase through your Company

I am very disappointed as the wifi still isn't functioning. Did he even look at it? Nothing about it on the job sheet. I'm sorry but I don't feel like giving a rating. Didn't test it at the time as I had to rush to see someone after agreeing to change the time of the visit.

Monday 30 Sept, morning I now have two Yahoo emails, the default one is ex Internet Explorer, I have to use that to get to the other one which is ex Microsoft Edge. Now being asked if I want the Microsoft Edge browser. Can’t understand how the wrong drives were being used for storage, obviously something we did. Everything was going slow over the weekend, but has now sped up. During the weekend, was regularly getting “not responding” while trying to use both Yahoo mail & Google. Also while typing into Google or an email the typing/screen would freeze, for more than 9.9 seconds. And I was and still am getting the occasional black screen. 30/9, 11am, Just tried to get into Genesis/Energy IQ and was told, again; “Sorry, your browser is out of date!” Skype has continued to work well through everything, apart from Skype-specific problems.

When my email was "upgraded" 3,000+ deleted emails turned up in my in box. As part of the change back I wanted the deleted emails removed from my in box but I wanted all those after November 2018 kept as I wanted all the Christmas letters. I asked him to delete them as they were removed as he was more able to deal with 3,000 than I was. After that was completed I was amazed to find I was fully charged for the remedial work. It was also at that stage I was informed that my email system would "soon" become obsolete and would have to be replaced. I feel totally conned.
