“I had extreme difficulty screwing in two screws as there were no pre-drilled holes, as a result the bed is not assembled as it should be but seems sturdy enough. I actually injured the palm of my hand attempting to fit these two final screws. The chosen finish was perfectly applied to all areas. Aside from the issue with the two screws, overall a positive experience and build quality is good.”

“Be very careful what you order. I wanted oak, picked the "untreated" option towards the end of ordering process, which changed it to pine. Devastated. They blamed me.”

By selecting the "untreated" option you opted for something completely different from Oak. You selected Scandinavian Pine. In order to receive a solid Oak bed, the Oak finish needed to be selected at the time of placing the order. We could not anticipate your desire for a different finish other than that you had selected. Please do continue to liaise with customer service directly in regards to you order. “Only adverse comment is that the assembly instructions could be a lot better and a link to a video tutorial would be really helpful. Part identification in the instructions is a bit vague, and the instructions I got with my bed were generic rather than bespoke to my product. The way the website works is also a bit clunky and could do with a good update. The bed itself is excellent quality.”

“From the look, quality finish, sturdy frame to comfort, the Low Tokyo bed in Sapele with a cherry stain is an absolute joy. We couldn't have asked for a better purchase for our new dormer bedroom. This is clearly bed that will last us for years to come and something we're proud of as well.”

“We are absolutely delighted with our new four poster ottoman. It adds a touch of luxury to our bedroom and we are getting our best sleep in ages. Quality is top class. Assembly was straightforward but get yourself a friend or two round to help.”

“After a fair amount of back and forth with the support team we finally have a bed frame that meets our requirements. The support team are friendly and responsive, however the company is let down on the manufacturing side, with items not being made to the right size. Delivery with FedX first time around didn't work well, however the second time around it did. The last thing is to say is be careful when ordering your bedframe as they advertise British and EU frame sizes, except manufacturers in the UK are making Kingsize and Super Kingsize mattresses which are the same length as EU mattresses (200cm). The frame we bought is very minimalist as so that extra 2 cm means the difference between a snug fit and a very snug fit with no space for your sheets!”

“well.... i have no idea as for some reason i bought a single bed and a double matress. the delivery was...mmmm...ok collection ok too. the new bed was/ is being delivered by UPS...not happy as 1/3 delivered even though i delayed the delivery by web and by coinfirmation 'phone call. Not happy”

“The bed we chose 'Low Tokyo Space Saver' is perfect for our bedroom. We feel so much less cluttered in the space now. The frame is solid and well put together. We also had delivered the Every Day Mattress (medium) which is great. It's a little bit firmer than we're used to but with a memory foam top it's fine. We had the delivery and put together service and the team were very efficient.”

“This is the second bed I've bought from Get Laid. The bed is great,easy to assemble with instructions much clearer than those from a well known Swedish company. I really liked the attention to detail, the boxes were printed with a good design and the fixings came in a cloth bag. I would use this company again”

“The good: * I really like the design of the bed, it's attractive and practical * The sapele wood looks and feels really high quality * The delivery people were friendly and punctual The bad: * Some of the pre-drilled holes seemed to be missing. For example, the holes for the end rails and for the central rail in the bed were missing. This was seemingly random - for example one side of the bed box had pre-drilled holes at one end but not at the other, even though they should have been symmetric. I spoke to one of your staff members over the phone, who told me that because I'd ordered the sapele wood finish it was normal to not have all of the pre-drilled holes - if that's the case, I think you should definitely mention it in the assembly instructions, and mention in the product description that drilling is required. Luckily I happened to have a drill with the correct bits and was able to complete the assembly, but it was much more work than I expected. * The instructions could have been clearer. For example, when I was assembing the bed boxes, there was nothing to indicate that the slats needed to be inserted in a particular order due to some of them having pre-drilled holes. I had to go back and reassemble the box when I realised this. * Some of the screw holes didn't line up exactly, and in some cases I needed to use a *lot* of force in order to get the screws in. I'm not sure if this was because the wood had warped slightly, or because the holes weren't drilled in exactly the right places to begin with.”

“The beds are quite wonderful, I love the concept of floating beds and especially for elderly folks as you dont wind up smashing toes against the legs. My only wish is that it should have additional support, the beds tend to be a little "creaky" and noisy. The slats take a lot of weight and wind up making noise. But I love the bed, I can always create the added support by myself”

“I've bought three low beds from Get Laid Beds. We are all very happy with them. They look beautiful in our loft bedrooms. One admonition, if you are not sure about the mattress, either order elsewhere or do NOT open the bag the mattress is packed in as they have a strict no returns policy (which I do get why... but is not the same with all mattress companies). Otherwise, we are very happy with the bed frames themselves.”

“The bed is well-made, looks good and was delivered on the date said. The only negative was the website design - it recalculates prices with each option selected but at the same time lost previous choices. So I had to go through process twice and still ended up with the incorrect delivery method.”

“Only had the bed about a week but so far I'm in love. Gorgeous design, really sturdy and it was pretty fun putting it together myself. Made the whole room smell of wood which was a delight! My only negative is that the instructions for larger beds are greyed out so I missed the part where I was meant to add 'biscuits' between the two headboard slats to anchor them together. I don't get the feeling it'll make that much difference but I might attempt to disassemble and reassemble at some point in the future, to get them added! Easy to order, good communication/updates and I love that you can customise the legs and stain. Would gladly buy from here again.”

“The bed itself is fantastic quality and a really beautiful colour. I have removed a star for the poor communication from the company. We requested a specific delivery date and even checked in before to make sure the delivery date was still on track. My partner had to take a day off work only to be told at 3.20pm on the day that the bed was going to be delivered two days later. Very frustrating, and could easily have been avoided with better communication.”

“Ire ently purchased a bed from Get Laid. I had purchased from the European site as opposed to the UK site , subsequntly my mattress did not fit The customer support and service I received was outstanding. I could order a new bed at sale price and be refunded for my old on receipt of it back to them. I would recommend this company to anyone on the strength of this service.”
