Had to cancel an hour after booking due to scheduling conflicts. Outside of their 15 minute cancellation policy, seriously? 15 minutes? Then they can just farm 20%, for nothing. Great.

Tried to cancel the order 2 hours after creating it but it was outside their 15 minute "policy" and they refused to cancel without a 20% fee. I recommend you find someone else to do pickup for you. Keep in mind that LOADUP does not do the pickup, they just pay a local group in your area to do it anyways.

Do not pay up front before you find out if they can actually accommodate your order or you will get charged the 20% cancellation fee anyway. I explained in the textbox provided what I wanted and they let me book the order, but I had to pay up front and didn't know my request was not possible. Nowhere on the site do they specify that the hourly moving service was for a single site only, and I needed one item moved from one location to a nearby other location. Turns out, this is two separate orders, for almost $300 each (at one hour of time each). When I found this out (from me calling them and not them contacting me), I tried to cancel without the fee, but they would not do it. If you are not sure, call their sales department first and ask before booking your order.

I sent them pictures of every room from multiple angles to ensure they had an accurate understanding of what they would be removing from the house. They gave me a quote and I paid for the service. The scheduled date arrived and they couldn't find a "loader" to do the job for what they were willing to pay them. Yes, you heard that correctly. They do not employ the people that actually do the work. They sub-contract with them. I paid LoadUp almost $2300, they offered the sub-contractors almost $1,100. When no one would take it they just cancelled my order and gave me a refund. I had someone waiting at the house for them from 8AM to 8PM and they never did the job. Don't waste your time with this company. Use someone that employs the people who do the work and stand behind their "Guaranteed Pricing"!

I'm so disappointed with this service. I schedule my sofa to be picked up a week in advance. I was given a window of 4pm to 8pm. The driver showed up after 9am. There are mulitple representatives that have contacted me from 7 different numbers within a 2 day span of time. It was clear dispatch had to contact the driver multiple times, the back and forth was ongoing and frustrating. It was extrememly difficult to hold my small kids and my cats in a room while waiting for so long and so late. I suggested half for the inconvience, was given $10. Go with a different service, there are many out there.

I was given a 4 hour window today for someone to be at my house, between 8 AM and Noon. When the 4 hour window passed and no one had shown up nor had anyone reached out to me, I made 2 calls to ask what was going on. I was surprised when the second representative with whom I spoke basically told me that the 4 hour window was not a given and then he asked me if I could wait a little longer. Apparently customer service is not a priority nor is there much respect for customer wait time.

Check the order notes, worst experience ever and your management doesn’t care.

I initially went with them because they had an upfront price that I thought was reasonable. When I ended up getting a counter offer from a different company that was half the amount than goloadup I decided to cancel. I was then told I would have to pay a 20% fee for cancelling, even though it was 5 days ahead of time. I would totally understand if it were within 24 hours, but 5 days ahead is completely unreasonable. BUYER BEWARE... you better be sure you're getting the best deal and if you try to back out, even with plenty of notice they will charge you 20% of your initial total!!

I had Upload pick up a Thomasville Burled Oak bedroom set and a computer desk to take to a Habitat donation center within a mile from my house. Instead, they went to Clayton and took it to a disposal center. They were not honest and totally deceptive to my request. I would not recommend them to anyone. The loaders did not know how to pack a truck since they didn't use pads to protect the furniture and just laid the drawers throughout the truck. Any slight bump or turn on the road would have damaged everything.

They will take your money and string you along even if there are no loaders in your area available.

Was given a pickup window of 8am-8pm. Waited 12 hrs for a pickup only to receive a text notifying me 10 minutes before the end of my pickup window that they didn’t have a truck available to complete my order. They should have a driver available before they accepted my money and confirmed the pickup.

Horrible services, I had to schedule 2 appointments to load and unload. I had to cancel due to not moving 2 days later and a week away from scheduled appointment. LoadUp failed to mention they will keep 20% of all scheduled appointments so they kept 40% of my payment.

I requested an email quote. Text quote was sent to my husband who gave them credit card information thinking it was the company I chose. When he contacted them to let them know the error, they canceled the job and charged my credit card 20% cancellation fee. The cancellation was 6 days in advance! When I called customer service all he did was repeat the scripted line “because the job was booked and paid for, the cancellation fee applies”. Thankfully booked with my credit card and the charge was disputed. Be careful when booking and use a credit card for protection!

My slot was booked between 8-12. At 11:30 I got a call that the truck got a flat and they were getting it replaced and would be on their way. I asked for an ETA and received nothing. At 1 I checked in and asked if there was an update and was told the tow truck was close and they’d be coming righth after that. At 3pm I had to ask for another update and was then told they needed to go and get the tired first and they just picked it up and should be fixing it soon. I understand that some circumstances and unplanned, but it is frustrating to have to keep reaching out for any progress while my couch is in pieces standing in my kitchen. If a service is going to be outside of 2 delivery windows, it would be helpful to have the person provide updates or to have them request a different truck be sent out. It’s been 8 hours and I still don’t know when my stuff will be picked up because the driver has only provided vague updates along the way.

We scheduled LoadUp a week in advance to come haul a few items away from our home. The day arrived and we got a call from the loader who informed us that they couldn't make it because they were busy "moving" and they might be able to come "late" the next day. We called a larger competitor (you know the one) and had them come out the same day with no issue. When I called LoadUp to get a refund, they informed us that they would only be able to refund 50% of the order due to it being a same day cancellation. This company contracts out haulers so your experience will come down to that person's schedule, where the company seems to have no control or oversight. This was frustrating because we spent all morning preparing for the driver to arrive only for them to cancel an hour before service, also triggering the partial refund. Please do yourself a favor, call another hauler - don't let this company take your money and run.

The worst customer experience imaginable. In the midst of dealing with my mother's death and having to remove items to deal with her estate, I booked a service that indicated it would do the job well and if it didn't it would make it right. LoadUp took my money, failed my family at every turn, and I'm still stuck with the main item I selected this company to remove. The leadership of this company is heartless.

We had an appointment for pickup from 12-4pm and it's now 5:30 and the driver is no longer responding. We waited around all day for this for nothing. What a waste of time

Absolute waste of my time. Reservations made one month out, confirmed reservation each week prior to the date. On the morning of, Load Up simply sends a text that they’re not coming but I can reschedule if needed. Plenty of companies providing this service, look elsewhere including homeless day laborers.

They called twice with the incorrect time. Finally—on the third attempt, when the did arrive, the movers were courteous, polite, and efficient.

Do not use this company! They illegally dumped 2 of my couches. I paid about 200.00 to them and they dumped the couches on the same property i live on. Contacted customer service and they said the issue would be fixed. It was not. Instead of refunding me they choose to ignore my requests. Company is a scam!
