“Very poor experience using Go to Gate. Almost 6 months waiting for refund and they keep blaming airline. Funny how the same airline refunded me for another booking, booked via another agent was refunded within 2 months. Perhaps 15 calls made to them and every time I was either cut off or they claimed they could not hear me.”

“I booked flights with Gotogate which were cancelled in April due to COVID19. I haven’t received a refund nor have I even received confirmation that I’m going to get a refund. I understand the challenges of the current climate, however it’s now been 6 months where absolutely nothing has been done about this. I’ve called customer services and they’re not able to assist with a refund but instead insist of charging me a £30 admin fee for their cancellation! I’m extremely disappointed with Gotogate and never want to use them again.”

“I booked 2 tickets which they claimed is cancelled by the airline 2 weeks after. I checked with the airline, it wasn't cancelled, but they didn't have any seats left, I called gotogate to reschedule my tickets, they didn't offer me any other dates for flight, they only offered open ticket which lasts a year or request for refund which apparently they charge £30 for, which nowhere in their website mentions, after multiple emails to their customer service which no replies after few weeks and multiple phone calls with arrogant, unreasonable customer service agents, I gave up and requested a refund. They said that the refund will be only processed after the flight restrictions are completely gone, and then it will take a further 4 months, which could mean, it would take more than a year to get my refund with £30 deducted. AVOID them, they are SCAMS, they will probably go bankrupt now and won't be able to pay back the customers”

“Inefficiency, poor time management, lack of proactive solutions to rudimentary cases, nonexisting customer satisfaction advocacy, insufficient knowledge of English language. I lost airline ticket worth of~ 40 USD. Truly, it is absolutely meaningless to me. However, if a customer is determined to look up websites, where Etraveli Group promotes itself, and spread a word about their mismanagement of resources, for such an insignificant amount of money, that should give you an idea about whom you are about to deal with, if you choose to make a business with them.

“First of all,i wish I had read the reviews on internet about Gotogate before I booked my flight. Booked a one way ticket thru Gotogate in march. The flight have been canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic situation. Since april i am trying to get a refund from Gotogate. This agency is catastrophic for the refund of flights and after aproximate 5 months of waiting i still havent received my refund. They do not answer to emails or phone calls either and i couldnt get in touch with them. More than that they also refused refused the chargeback.

“Don't ever trust this company! I booked a flight via gotogate with wizzair from London to Vienna. Wizzair cancelled my flight 3 days before and never got informed by Wizzair or Gotogate. I've been trying for weeks to contact gotogate to get a refund, they never answered my cas. Once the answered and hanged off the phone! They even said that I have to pay 30€ application fee of I want to get a refund for my ticket. I've been traveling for years and gotogate is by far the worst company I've ever used”
“Who regulates this company? I had trouble obtaining some kind of solution for my cancelled flight back in March and was eventually informed that I would be entitled to a travel voucher to re-book my flight. No actual voucher has been issued (this would have been the easiest and most sensible arrangement) and I have been informed that I have to ring Gotogate to arrange my new flight. I've done this twice now (after numerous other attempts when I got fed up of being on hold) and both times I've been told "their systems are down"! How convenient! They obviously have no intention of honouring my re-book. I have received money back from the other elements of my holiday so why is this so difficult? If anyone knows how this company can be taken to task on their shoddy practices please let me know. Thank you.”
“Simply terrible and unprofessional. I had booked a flight on Gotogate for a flight from Adelaide to Melbourne for 30th July. The flight was cancelled. On the first call to Gotogate, I was told that even though the flight was cancelled by the airline, I would not be receiving any refunds. Since then, they have ignored all my calls and emails. “This company is a complete scam. DO NOT EVER PURCHASE A TICKET FROM THIS COMPANY. I have been waiting months for a refund on my plane tickets and they keep sending me in circles. The customer service sucks as there is no one else to speak with to help me get a refund. When I first booked my tickets through them they gave me a false order number. When I went to request a refund, the ticket was non-existent. Any team member that I got in contact with was not able to help me in any way. “Booked a flight to go to Paris in March through gotogate to fly on NorweginAir. It was obviously cancelled because of the pandemic. I got ONE email from gotogate that was just a forwarded Norwegian email saying my flight was cancelled. Like any other person, I went to check the gotogate website to see what I could do for a refund and it basically said don’t contact them because they already have such a high volume of calls/emails so just let them handle things. My fault for still not calling in right then and there. I put in a claim with Norwegian for a refund just in case and I got no response so I assumed I needed to be more patient with the current circumstances. It’s now July and I still haven’t heard anything so I called Norwegian, they said it was already refunded but the card they read wasn’t mine. Norwegian explained its likely because I used a 3rd party travel agency. So I called gotogate, was on hold for about 20 minutes, and was told they’d have to contact Norwegian first to confirm my flight was cancelled so they could process the refund And I’d get an email when that happened. Well it’s been a week since then, still waiting for the email. How long should this take when it’s already been 4 months since the flights were cancelled and Norwegian said it’s already been refunded..”

“Bad contact service !!! Yesterday I was informed that my Alitalia flights of 15 July, from London to Catania, were canceled. I spent hours on the phone, they moved me from one department to the other, keeping me waiting. In the end I had no answer, I wrote an email and I hope m money will return. Otherwise I will proceed with the complaints!”
