I SUSPECT THEY ARE OPERATING ILLEGALLY. Purchased Product March 4, 2020. Never delivered. On April 26, 2020, Groupon said they were cancelling the order but not refunding the money, only a credit. I demanded US dollars. GROUPON REPLY, WORD FOR WORD...."...AS A RESULT OF COVID-19 (NOTE MY ORDER DATE WAS MARCH 4), WE ARE UNABLE TO OFFER A REFUND TO YOUR ORIGINAL FORM OF PAYMENT"

Do not purchase anything from them. I purchased two hotels stays for over $400 and read all the fine print clearly and it states a full refund if canceled. With all the Covid 19 happening it tried to cancel well in advance and was told my only option is Groupon bucks and I could not have a refund to my original form of payment. This place is awful! Do not use them unless you want to be out all your money!

Do not buy from Groupon. I purchased 2 Groupons for my husband's 40th birthday which we had to cancel going because of Covid. Nashville isn't opening entertainment until phase 3 so my Groupons will likely expire. I wanted a refund and they refused, stating to only give a credit (which has to be used in 8 weeks) and refused to let me speak to a manager. I can not believe that a company would not give money back to people for items they are unable to use. It's not our fault we can't use them. I will not buy another Groupon and will be telling my friends not to as well. What a crappy company.

DON'T TRUST GROUPON i Ordered a coat and when it arrived it was the wrong color. Although it was within the 14 days that Groupon says on their website that merchandise can be returned, Groupon would not refund to my original method of purchase which was my credit card via PayPal. I was told the money would only be refunded in Groupon Bucks. THAT WAS NOT MADE PLAIN ON THE PAGE WHERE I ORDERED. DON'T ORDER FROM GROUPON OR YOU'LL GET STIFFED.

"GROUPON STEEL YOUR MONEY, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM" I purchased some garden furniture in March, the items didn't arrive as expected, given current circustances around Covid, I was tolerant of a delay. 4 weeks later my goods have still not arrived and they have advised I can only have a credit and they can no longer fulfil my order. You pay, trust and then don't get products or your money back. AVOID GROUPON AT ALL COSTS.....SCAMMERS!!!!!!

Bought Groupon and days later facility closed due to Covid-19. Groupon refused to extend the expiration date and only offered a credit to me. When you can’t use a Groupon due to a pandemic this is the best they can do- I think not!

SCAM! THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY!! DO NOT BUY I bought a voucher for a restaurant via Groupon, and I made reservations on the Groupon app. However, few weeks after I made the reservation, Groupon cancelled it, and I chose a new date. This happened several times, every time I booked a new date, Groupon would cancel it without specifying why. At this point I did not wish to go through with it and I requested a refund. Mind you, according to their plans you can request a refund for a voucher. However, after requesting a refund, they let me know that they do not wish to give me the refund, and they are using the corona crisis as an excuse in their email? They specifically told me, the businesses they’re working with are losing money, and they have to support them, which is why they won’t give me a refund. I do not understand how that is my or anyone’s problem, and why my money is being funded to businesses who are losing money. They keep referring me to their policies, but nowhere in their policies does it state that. After a long dialogue with them, they are still refusing to give me my money back, and they can not even give a valid reason why. They are THIEVES who are STEALING costumers money. They are using this crisis to make people buy vouchers, cancel them and steal the money. This a SCAM company, DO NOT BUY!! And the costumer service are the most rude people I have ever talked to. I have never received such a bad costumer service, which such a rude attitude from anyone before. They do not even understand their own policies, and i have tried twice where they made up fake policies, to avoid giving refund. I do not recommend anyone to ever use this app. If I could give them zero stars, I would.

Groupon refuses to allow me to offer my services as a licensed massage therapist from my residential office that is a registered and legal business in the local town hall due to an "incident" that occured a while back, but they refused to state what. This is like saying they had an "incident" with a black man, so they can't allow any other black man to sell his services either. What's the ifference? This is discrimination and prejudice no matter how they spin it. They have basically boycotted an entire profession for the actions of one, or even a few, if that's the case (didn't specify). They do offer massage services, as long as the mt is located in a commercial property, which makes no sense, as any "incident" can easily happen at a commercial office as easily as it can a residential office and some times more likely. Groupon shows great ignorance and discrimination when it comes to its merchants and should change this policy or be closed down.

Can i give them no stars? My groupon to a play was cancelled because of the global pandemic. Groupon takes my money and refuses to give my money back. "We can offer you Groupon live bucks with the added bonus that they never expire" I'm sorry, what? How is that acceptable? So now I'm your bank? Because there is no way that the plays won't be refunding your money. It's irresponsible, especially in a time of crisis like this, to be completely inflexible and unaccommodating in time where most corporations are understanding of the type of inconvenience that is going on everywhere at this time. "You can use your Groupon Live bucks to support a local business". Oh no you don't. Don't try to get some positive PR on this. Shameful. Not a good look Groupon.

Have used this site numerous times and as stated below their customer service are literally useless! a bunch of jobsworths that think they are in control!! For all of those below, please get back in touch with Groupon if they have refused a refund for money - this is actually not allowed under your consumer rights! they HAVE To give you a FULL refund minus the shipping fee to the card the goods were purchased on. They state this as this is what they are told to say by their management! it is wrong and breaches your rights! Do NOT Use this company - you will more than likely find the items cheaper on Ebay and will have a much better service! I too hope this company goes under - they do not deserve ANY customers!

People, never deal with this compony. Site is terrible, could not get answers to any questions. Money were taken from account and order was never delivered. Customer service is, pretty much,non existent. The worst experience ever. The company is a fraud.

Groupon blames merchant to not refund. They refuse to attempt to help, they rather blame. Order are taking weeks and if you try to cancel even before shipping, they will not refund you. They do weird charges to your account...authorize them total and then separate it, leaving a list of charges in your credit card account that doesn’t match the total or confirmation of order from Groupon.

Ordered goods 10 March, chased up order 02 April, 08 April informed order re-shipped & should be with me in 3 working days. 16 April still no goods arrived so managed to source goods elsewhere & requested refund. 17 April was informed they would only place a new order or refund in Groupon Credits which last 12 months. As I've only shopped with Groupon 3 times over 6 years neither option were suitable for me so again asked for refund. 21 April they point blank refused a refund

I would not recommend this company.took 14 days to deliver my order. I am in my 70s I suffer with asthma i needed this order to have a good night's sleep.emailed customer care( or customer don't care) explained, same message came back each time.i would have thought in these troubled times they would have made a better effort.

Selling masks at inflated prices with 5 day delivery promise during a pandemic, masks are actually NOT shipping. They are refusing to refund, only offering credit despite goods NOT being delivered.

In utter shock in how this company is dealing with this crisis. I purchased a spa weekend to which I was unable to attend Due to covid-19. £110. They made ME contact the spa to confirm that they authorise a refund, which I did. And after a lot of back and fourth with groupon and spa company - groupon didn’t even offer my money back they offered GROUPON CREDITS. A LARGE, RICH BUSINESS STEALING FROM PEOPLE. The service was NOT PROVIDED, therefore we should be entitled to our hard EARNED money back. I have no idea WHY they think it’s acceptable to decide what we do with OUR MONEY. Angry is an understatement, I’ve used them countless times and NEVER AGAIN. I hope they go under by the amount of people they’re losing as customers due to this awful customer service.

Purchased a car wash, was the second one I purchased. And forgot about it as I'm busy with work. Recently remembered and think it should be all right as I haven't received any service they should be able to at least refund that to credit. Read some T/C and said during this covid19 (altho when it comes to my deal, I purely forgot about it, so the expiry has nothing to do with covid19 honestly), they are working to help customers refund the expired vouchers into credit. But when I contacted the online customer support, get a simply answer, no, sorry, it can't be refunded. yes, I'm sure, sorry about it. Great, $99 is not a big money, but great it persuade me out of any further groupon deal, never groupon again. Spending more money supporting our local businesses, not a problem, but let this kind of nasty company to make benefits between consumers and merchants, a big NO.

Order never arrived, allowed plenty of time due to covid-19. Would not refund as I had gone past the refund deadline?? But wait, I never received my order!!! Offered Groupon credits.....not good enough, your mistake, I ordered in good faith and expect a full refund, including delivery. Paid by PayPal so I've opened a claim and escalated the case. Disgusting service!

Ordered face masks which were supposed to ship within 2 days of order. After 8 days, ,"still in process" I want a credit to my Visa. Rep will only give Groupon Bucks. Unacceptable way of doing business.

Horrific company. Took my money and told me order would be within 7 days. Ordered 4 items and 1 turned up. I had to source the other 3 elsewhere as I needed them in the time promised and when I asked for a refund I am still having to argue with them as they say it's not their fault. They are so quick to take your money and advertise high stock levels and delivery available, as soon as you've spent the money they reject any responsibility even if like me you're waiting over a month for a product you needed in the time advertised. They'll feed you a load of rubbish about deliveries affected by COVID 19 which I appreciate, but the at least appreciate that the customer might want a refund on the service you have failed to provide Shameful company and terrible customer representatives
