I was charged for a ride that I didn't take and the didn't want to refund me my money had to dispute it with my bank in order to re coup my funds that they stole from me I completed the ride with Lyft and not Uber I cancelled the ride because they were taking to long to find a driver that is so wrong I won't be riding with Uber ever again especially after they stole my money out my account horrible customer service to boot

Background checks are a great way for them to basically make you quit. I drove over 2000 trips for them within 7 months. Thats a lot of rides. I changed cities but I had an inactive license on file, after I contacted "Checkr", they corrected everything and contacted uber that I had passed all parts of the background check. But uber never reactivated me and everytime I contact them, they send me automated messages that show they dont actually read my problems or my information. I have literally sent pictures of emails from Checkr and even my background check itself, and they dont even reply with a real person. My background check has been good to go for 6 days. Less drivers means they make more money on their fares. Yay capitalism!

I was charged for a ride but no one ever showed up to pick me up! When I contacted them they said that I had to call my bank which the bank said that Uber lied! I have contacted my lawyer, fraud department, and the BBB!

Why is it an uber driver accepts a job then cancels is this because a better job comes in which pays more money this is happening more and more often not just to me uber shouldn't take a cut from the driver if the fare is under a £10 this may encourage the drivers to accept the job

Uber usually with their Chat option offers great custmer aervice refunding my lost delivery and giving me a credit to compensate for the time lost waiting so yeah I prefer them over Door Dash. I pay a little more but at least my food isnt opened or missing .

I have a Tesla and have had 2 over past 8 years. They have been using tesla Uber credits voucher rather than a loaner car, when you need service for about 3 years now. I’ve used them 4 times in the 3 years. You get usually $100/day or a combined amount for several days ($400 for anticipated 4 days) in service. I’ve used Uber black, Uber lux on these occasions no problem. The voucher itself indicates only restrictions are Uber eats and you are responsible for the tip. This past time I was charged my personal payment in lieu of the voucher and Uber stated it’s because I used Uber black which the voucher “clearly” indicates that as restriction in the voucher. I sent proof and uploaded it multiple times as well as proof of using Uber black and Lux previously with tesla voucher Uber credit. They continue to parrot same thing now 6x, while simultaneously refusing to acknowledge the verbiage on the actual voucher or my previous proof. I’ve asked to speak to a supervisor and someone on the phone. They have ingnored my requests completely and stopped responding altogether and just keep sending me requests to rate their service.

Uber trans it's customers with utter contempt, there is Zero human contact available when things go wrong and they just don't care because it saves them money, please fight back people and stop using them. Uber support in non-existent they totally do not get the importance of second line support and I'm convinced their business is going to suffer as a consequence. I really hope they suffer as a company because of their utterly dire customer support, they treat us like robots, there is zero human support available and it is done to save money for their pathetic business model. Let's kill Uber they don't deserve success when they treat their customers this way, they are utterly useless. I work in digital IT and anyone who has any idea about digital IT understands that second line support is vital, without it your business is likely to suffer in the long run. I don't see uber collapsing any time soon unfortunately because they have an undeniably good product but I REALLY hope they suffer for their profligate attitude towards human support. Ive been trying for 2 months to resolve payment issues, I have deleted the app multiple times and re-entered card details multiple times and I just cannot fix it.Their on-line help consists of hundreds of suggestions that don't work and they offer zero second-line support. So they have created an enemy, not only am I never going to use it, I'm now on a crusade to make sure that people understand the contempt they have for their customers. If you want to see how to do second line support properly take a look at express VPN - absolutely excellent second line support tat gets it, or Easy Jet in the UK they also get second line support, UBER is utterly useless.

If I could give -5 stars I would. The Uber Customer support agents are AWFUL, DREADFUL and HOPELESS. I don't know how much they are paying these people who BARELY SPEAK English but it has to be bad. They talk over you , they hang up on you when they can't understand you (which can be pretty bad if you are on the road in a dangerous area and need help)...and they rarely give you the help you need...in fact, they nearly never do. Don't drive for Uber because when you inevitably need serious help, you will suffer (at best) and be in great danger like I am right now (at worst).

Well today I paid for an Uber ride, and as I am standing at the barbershop waiting, the Uber driver pulls. He pulled in at the bar in between 2 vehicles, and I was unable to see him. As I was standing outside side the barbershop, I received a message from Uber that my ride was canceled, and then I saw the Uber driver backing out and leaving. Then I see where they still charged me $5.50 after the ride was canceled. Uber is starting to get as bad as Lyft, and I quit using Lyft for these same reasons. Well it is time to find another way to get rides.

I have been a UBER driver for about 4 months and this is it for me. I want to put my honest 2cents in to help someone. Safety: you're pretty much on your own. Protect yourself at all cost don't be a victim because these gigs are not concerned about your safety. Customer support: These people are clueless and not properly trained. They have no clue on how to solve anything. Even if you put that your situation wasn't resolved they automatically put it as resolved. So you have no follow up calls to look forward to. Delivery: Sometimes they send you to the wrong address. Situation that actually happened to me. They sent me to drop off a package for a customer and sent me to the wrong address and no one knew who the name on the app of the UBER was. The guy actually let me inside of his "fenced in hidden property" and had no clue what I was talking about. Thank God I made it out of his property. But it actually creeped me out that the app sent me to a complete stranger address that didn't order nothing or knew the name of the order. When I called customer support about that situation they were clueless and didn't care. So I just dropped the package back to the store I picked it up from. Pay: They deduct a lot of money from each order you get. The pay is not enough to begin with and now imagine them now deducting from what you already don't have enough of. The customer tipping you is how you make money and even with that you don't even really know how much the customer actually tipped you unless they gave you cash. I wouldn't recommend no one doing this as a living because it's not worth it. Driving around and putting all that mileage in your car is not worth it. I recommend doing this gig only if you have no other way of making money. But be safe and don't be a victim. Protect yourself at all cost as an Uber driver or a Customer. Also I would recommend only ordering from places that put a seal on your drink and food products just in case someone tampers with your food you will know. Some restaurants just send out your food easily to access. So think about that. 🤔 Hope this helps. Goodbye 👋 UBER! ✌️

Uber is taking 50% of fare in Louisville KY area leaving some drivers not making any money! All Uber X drivers needs to stop driving in protest of unfair labor practices!

I went to the airport to p/u another rental car b/c mine had a flat tire. Brian was great! We had a great conversation. He dropped me off and when I went to budget rental they said I couldn't p/u my replacement car until the other car was towed there. Also, that the tow truck wouldn't be coming until the morning. So, I had to call Uber back and get a ride back to my car and I was under a bit of stress. Abdulai asked me what the situation was and when I told him, right away he offered to change my tire. We got back and he changed my tire for me. I was so grateful. I was in another state with no one to help, on a trip by myself and it was just incredibly kind of him to do that.

The Uber driver picked up some stranger and bought them to my house instead of my bringing my mother home. When she realized what she did, she made the person order an Uber so she can take him home. Uber said it was my fault and refused to reimburse me or give me another ride. I’ll be using Lyft from now on.

Ubers' Customer support is horrible. I have been an outstanding driver for Uber since 2016 and I am appalled by the customer care for this company. I cannot even begin to explain how many times I had to go through multiple agents to help me with an issue. One time, one of them couldn't update my vehicle properly, wasting a WHOLE day of earning a living. I am a full-time driver and I take it seriously. In recent events, I am aware of the recording laws in my state and I was just trying to update the information about my dash camera. I had to go through 3 agents because not one of them had the decency to tell me that I was able to go into my settings and update it. All of them literally told me to contact the manufacturer of my dashcam when I stated clearly that I am trying to edit my information to the uber app. I even went as far as showing them a screenshot of what it says on Uber's site about video recording and registering the camera, and still, I had no proper compliance. The majority of the agents have no clue what the guidance rules are for uber nor understand proper English. Please do something about this

I have start chatting with an agent , and she couldn’t give an exact solution for my concern and also she wasn’t answering my questions while I was connected to that agent, she is very rude and mean as well and I know her name too, I didn’t want to add the name in here , because I don’t want to cause any trouble to her job, but you have to really try hard to improve your whole team, not only the support

I determined my trip to be from San Diego to Rancho Mirage in California (the trip was around 117 miles), After me and the driver reached 30 miles away from my destination, suddenly the trip was cut on his phone, and I received a request to rate the driver and a receipt was sent, while we were still on the high way!!! At the same time, the driver got a request to verify his identity by taking a photo of his face. This was very weird and unsafe and scary incident!!!! I had to take another ride to reach my home. Easily any driver could have been able to kidnap me because we were not anymore tracked by Uber company via GPS. Suddenly the trip was ended, I was not reached to my designated destination, and now I will not get reimbursed by my work company because my ride was not from my work in San Diego to my home, instead it was split to two trips for unclear ambiguous reasons. This is ridiculous and not acceptable!!!

Uber drivers seem to have the right to make you wait for 11mins, then cancel at the last minute, less than 1km away. How is this acceptable? It a customer cancels a ride, we get fined but it is ok for these clowns to cancel left, right and centre?! Sick if their entitlement
