“The problem with this nasty company is that it's drivers are self employed. Nobody to answer to at all but themselves. I buy stuff from Ebay and avoid anyone who says delivery by "other courier" as it could very well be Hermes. I only ever use sellers now who use Royal Mail. BE WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!!”

“absoloutly disgusting. said mt parcel was delivered but scan showed it scanned and signed for ( by i dont know who ) half a mile away. lots of e mails sent to customer service who didnt give a damn. curier still insists parcel was delivered to me but when asked to give a description of where i lived he gave a completely place. it was a joke . mt parcel containing two lovely paintings have completely took a walk ! crooks”

“Very very very bad service!! Lost parcel, giving me time slots and they keep on changing time slots of delivery! I waited days and the final date I waited until 18;00 they said they will deliver and they say they arrive at 19:00 and delivered my package, but where did they deliver???? I haven’t received anything!!! My friends complain about their service too!! Some say they are at home waiting and they didn’t even knock at the door they just received a missed notification. How awful!!!!”

“I have never had any problems with Hermes I live in OL10 3DJ area and our courier David Barlow is one of the nicest and friendliest guys you could ever meet he's always got time for a quick chat but is also very professional in his role as a courier my parcels always arrive on time and in excellent condition and if am not in he always leaves my parcel in a safe place as arranged with myself. I would definitely recommend Hermes courier service but especially the lovely David Barlow”

“They Lost my package than was trying to get away with it, took me one month of chasing them and finally got them admitted that package been lost! Got £5 compensation no apology nothing. AVOID! They are the worst from all”

“I waited in for my child’s stroller to be delivered, this driver left it outside in the rain with no knock or ringing of my doorbell and then to top it off signed on my behalf forging my signature. Hermes is Awful!!!!! I wouldn’t of known it was there if I hadn’t of got an email!!!”

“Awful service. Parcel went missing for weeks. Called them to complain and got fobbed off woth 7 pounds worth of call charges. Was told they would be in touch within 24 hours on webchat which was an absolute joke to use and weeks later still no contact.”

“Awful. Several times I have had ‘sorry I missed you’ cards come through the door with NO information on because they have been too lazy! I have typed the number on the card into the website to track and it isn’t even valid. I have had neighbours bring me my parcels because I had no idea where they were left. And when I do ask for an urgent parcel to be left in a safe place they completely ignore it and take it back with them! When I got in touch the service was also shocking saying there is nothing they can do and to have a good day. Awful”

“Claimed delivered. No parcel, no evidence of delivery, useless website - have to engage with a digital assistant. No telephone or email contact. You have to lie to the robot in order eventually to get the promise of human email contact. Dont use them”

“Parcels I sent have never arrived at their destination. One was returned with no contact from themThe othef is still lost somdwhere in their depot weeks later. The tracing system is not fit for purpose the telephone support is a complete waste of time as in live chat. Sort out your company and stop taking money from your customers offering a service you cannot provide.”

“The couriers NEVER ring the bell slightly tapping on the door and no-one hears them. My last parcel I caught them at the door but later found out that instead of a signature on the email saying your parcel was delivered there was a squiggle/line that I am supposed to have signed. Parcels have been delivered with no card left to say where they have been left. Very poor service.”

“I paid for next day delivery on two parcels and they didn’t come until 6 days later. I complained to the companies that my parcels were so late and they refunded the delivery charge. Hermes kept sending me emails telling me my parcels had been delivered when they never had. Really unhappy with the service and will never use it again.”

“Nightmare experience, was told item would be delivered in the morning, so waited in no delivery, then was told it would be in the evening still no delivery, tracking was marked as delivered tried to call two different numbers no one answers, then got hold if a virtual messaging service who said that they would try and look into it for me, this was not good enoughth very poor service would not use again and would not recommend.”

“Hermes need to address their seriously archaic delivery service. Their supplier (TNT in Australia) is about a decade behind in what constitutes personalised service. They won’t provide ANY time frame. Drivers cannot be contacted. No tracker. No contact if they don’t show They simply expect recipients to sit and wait. Which we did for 3days! Nightmare stuff, and big drag down for the Hermes brand. I can get better service from Target.”

“This should be 0 stars. I am awaiting a parcel 4435888631501772 reference number. I have had an email saying it has been delivered which it has not. There is a fraudulent signature on the delivery sheet which can only be the person supposedly delivering the parcel. Impossible to contact hermes and now I dont know what to do”

“I was expecting a delivery from John Lewis, a pullover for my husbands Christmas present, unfortunately I had a dentist appointment made for the exact time of delivery. I asked for it to be left in the porch. I received a message that it had been delivered and signed for by customer. This couldn’t be true as I was out as I had arranged for an alternative place to leave it. Of course it wasn’t there when I got home. I am disgusted and disappointed and stressed that an expensive gift has gone missing with a forged signature and the whole experience has been a nightmare. I am seeking further advice to take further action against this company and will never trust them again. I warn any one not to use them ever !!!”
