I was looking for a particular weed eater and the employee working that department was great. Very helpful and answered all my questions. He showed me everything I needed to get with it. I’m sorry I didn’t get his name. He is at the Lafayette la ambassador caffery store

Bought several appliances and was charged that day. On delivery day, truck never showed. Customer service reply is that they can’t reach driver because the warehouse can’t be reached. We’re told they can’t do anything!!! This is bad business.

A kitchen nightmare. cabinets sitting in my dining room for five weeks that I can't get installed even though I paid the full installation fee in April!!!! No calls back. Complete incompetence on the installation team. They rip out your kitchen and then say they will be back a week later. Absolutely horrible customer service. Once they get your money they just don't care. What a disappointment I would never ever use them again!

I am so furious with Home Depot that I will NEVER shop there again!! I had a Home Depot Credit Card. I didn't use it often, but when I did I paid it off on full each month. One day I received a letter from Hone Depot telling me they canceled me credit card. Can only figure out its because they were not making any additional money from me. Horrible company. Good thing I have Lowes just down the street from me! I'm done with this company for good.

On Jun 17, 2003, I placed an online order for a refrigerator through the Home Depot website, eagerly anticipating its delivery by Temco Logistics. Unfortunately, the first delivery attempt turned out to be an utter failure. When the delivery person arrived at my apartment, they glanced inside and abruptly left, stating that they would return shortly. Regrettably, the delivery person never returned, leaving me and my family bewildered and without any explanation. Concerned about this incident, I immediately contacted Home Depot's customer service, seeking assistance and clarification. I was assured by your representative that the subsequent delivery would be handled by a more experienced team to avoid any further issues. However, to my dismay, the second delivery attempt was also a complete failure. The delivery personnel failed to show up at the scheduled time, despite the online system indicating that they had missed us. Throughout this ordeal, I tried contacting Home Depot's and Temco Logistics customer service multiple times to seek clarification, express my frustration, and request a resolution to this matter. However, the level of responsiveness and assistance I received from your customer service department was alarmingly lacking. The lack of concern and support further aggravated my disappointment and dissatisfaction with Home Depot's services. The consequences of these delivery failures were not insignificant. As we had cleared out our previous refrigerator in preparation for the new one, we were left without a functioning appliance for an extended period. The perishable food items we had stored spoiled, leading to a significant financial loss and inconvenience for my family.

Horrible! Delivered wrong carpet after we went to Home Depot and spent an hour going over the room we wanted done and making payment in full. We had previously paid for our entire house to be measured and quoted for carpet and gave specific instruction which room we wanted done. The delivery was scheduled, and we had taken the day off and broke down room and moved everything out and they showed up with carpet for a different room. They did not compensate us whatsoever, in fact, said they measured wrong and wanted to up charge us. We have company coming next week and wanted the house to look nice and lost a day's pay and hours wasted on taking everything out of the room and putting it back. We cancelled the entire order and we will be taking our business elsewhere, carpet and other home projects we were about to do. Thanks for the wasted time and money. Do better Home Depot!

I bought new appliances from home Depot in April of 23 and about a week later they came and installed them and hook the dishwasher up and correctly and it leaked all over my floor and cost thousands of dollars worth of damage their insurance company didn't even call me until 2 weeks later. I had to file a homeowner's claim paid deductible and live through a week of hell with fans and dryers and dehumidifiers and my house being 81° and not being able to use my appliances for 2 months because they never came and reinstalled them properly it took four trips finally after 2 months total they got everything installed and the store acts like they ain't going to do nothing for me and the insurance company is giving me a runaround and I would never recommend anybody ever buying anything again from home depot.

Order two 1/2" milwaukee impact drivers from home depot. They sent me an empty box. I disputed this matter with them that took way too long. The email they sent me after they had had an " investigation" was that fedex delivered the package, dispute this matter with FedEx or your credit carrier. Home depot sent me an empty box and won't take care of this. I'd advise family friends, anyone that mentions home depot to stay away. They are thieves and will steal your money and push the blame onto someone else

Had ordered vinyl plank flooring had them come out to measure and give me a price. Crew2 there install contractor came out to start install ripping up oak flooring stop said my floors will need leveling and plywood added to floor. There would be additional charge. I agreed on $1500.00 base on information given to me at time 18 sheets of plywood 4x8x1/4 3 bags of leveling agent or compound hours of sanding. How ever no bags of compound was ever used they spend 30 min in sanding to knock down some edges not hours. They left to get plywood took one hour they returned with OSB board not plywood $5.00 cheaper than plywood they claim they don’t use substandard products like other contactors. Start to finish they had 14 sheets of OSB board 4x8x1/4 installed in 2 hours. I was here entire time. Not sure who lying installers or Crew2 (Home Depot install contractor). I think both were looking to make some easy money. Cost of installing OSB board was more than entire project of laying and ripping up the oak flooring and carpet total labor cost was. $1271.99 I was willing to negotiate 2 hour of labor time to install plywood one hour to pick up OSB board 3 hours @200.00 hr. $600.00 plus 140.00 cost of OSB 14 sheets @10.00 sheet Total of $740.00 they turn that offer down. When reading reviews online this seems to be common practice with this company. Another way to get few more dollars from Home Depot customers. Very poor customer service extremely disappointed, they don’t care about their reputation at all. Along with there contractor Crew2.

We ordered Appliances from there. Was given a delivery date. 1 day before delivery received a notice that it will be delivered 6 weeks later. When I went to the store to inquire, the delivery canceled it because the range was not in yet. So they canceled the whole delivery. Later the next day we found out that Samsung just canceled our range completely. No notice, and no refund. After communicating with the store employees ( who were extremely helpful ) a refund was issued. I am in Home Depot almost every day and purchase a lot of supplies. I know most of the employees personally. Sadly, I will no longer recommend the store for big purchases.

I will never go through Home Depot home services installation/construction again. I don’t care about the warranty. I signed a contract in September of 2022 to get my windows installed and they are still not completed. They told me it would be done Dec 22/Jan 23. The contract said the windows was between March/April 20, 2023. No one verbalized that and skipped over the clarification when they showed me the contract to sign. I was also charge over 2,000$ more than my estimate (he tried to tell me it was 5,000 more). In January I made multi attempts to get in touch with someone for an update. The guy that I signed the contract with Brett and the guy that did the official measure Joe. Emailed and called nothing. After weeks I had to talk to an associate in the store. Finally getting in touch with the branch. Waste of time. They Installed around late Feb. The installers must’ve damaged the door with a drill and decided to still install it but fill it with Chaulk. The quality of the windows do not look new at all. They came back in April the day before the contract identifies the job should be completed fixed the lock, replaced the sliding glass door they installed damaged WITH THE WRONG SIZE DOOR. The contact attempted to say the job was done even though my windowsill was broken and 2 other windows with concerns were not address. That was April 19 and I figure it was convenient for them to say the windows were done because the next day the contract said the job would be done by. They failed the inspection because 2 windows were missing a total of 5 screws. So we are at 9 months, I’m still dealing with this nightmare and wondering how they will manage to mess up with my windowsill, 2 windows (one came with the black sealant splattered on the window and other was just made horrible to where the trim isn’t welded correctly) and the wrong size replacement door they installed. No one can give me a straight answer and I get different answers all the time. I complain about the sealant window when it was first installed and then they didn’t do anything about it.

Klamath Falls store: I prepaid for an order of plastic pipe to make sure they had it in stock and wanted to make it a quick stop on our way out of town. (We live 2 hours away.) I placed the order on Wed, knowing it needed to be picked by the following Tuesday. When I stopped to get it on Friday, I had to wait in line for at least 20 minutes. The first person who tried to help me couldn't find my order in the staging area, so she asked someone else who also went to look for it. When a 3rd person couldn't find it, I was told it must have been ordered more than a week before and was put back in stock. Not the case! Finally, someone fixed the problem by going to the other end of the store and bringing me the 10 lengths of pipe I had ordered and already paid for. This store needs someone in charge who can organize the process for order pickups and make it more efficient. I wasn't only one who had to wait in line for almost an hour at the customer service desk. Lot of dissatisfied customers and a huge waste of everyone's time--including the hired help.

They finally delivered them, said they were running late, one guy hurt his back so OK on my end, guy hurt his back. AI was told they would come back on Monday to install them! That was 3 WEEKS ago! AND for parts they left the electric cord for the dryer….. it is a gas dryer….. cant make this up! They are awful x 100% I still do not have the washer and dryer hooked up!!!! I have. 7 month at home!!!! Zack my customer representative at store 1504 is the complete opposite of helpful or good at his job! No followup, no concern, this is like a bad movie. Zack actually laughed on two of the many rescheduling occasions!!!

I've purchased online kitchen apliances worth over 3K while remodeling my rental.property and had a 2 week nightmarish experience with the exchange of refrigerator since it was too big and side door wouldn't open . I found the same model in smaller size ,which sounds like an easy exchange, well who knew..... I was not able to get any help over the phone. Seemed like I was being transferred from one operator to another, and nobody knew how to proceed with the exchange . After spending half a day on the phone , I decided to call the next day and was advised to go to the local store , so I went to my local Home Depot, which I frequently visit. It's really hard to get any help there, no sales associate on the floor in the apliance section, I've spent 45 min waiting and observing I found some interesting things: for one as large as this company is they like to work short staffed, little help they have there takes 15 min breaks at the same time I was lucky in a way to get Sue who started and explained my exchange process and 20% restocking fee, which I agreed to , but was advised to come back the next day bc that's when the manager was gonna be there to process and override my transaction. Well, the next day, the manager wasn't there, I got another associate Veronika, who wasn't able to help much . Then finally on Saturday , I was lucky to run into manager Robert, who was very quick to take my credit card and charge me for new Refridgerator but didn't compete the return, so when the delivery came, they refused to pick up original fridge bc "it wasn't in the system." In the end, a few words for corporate Home Depot , the incompetence of some of your associate is astounding , I assume you have a high turnover of employees, I see new faces whenever I'm there, obviously you've lost my business from now on . I was able to sell my Fridgidare refrigerator and purchase new one from AmericanFreight company, who provided me with: great costumer service , very flexible time window of delivery, easy to get a real person on the phone /personable and still human , Thanks to them I was able to recover some of the financial.and emotional losses you guys caused me . Good luck with your future endeavors, you guys will needed it , your system ain't set up right .

I ordered a playset for my nephew on May 16th. The place it was for his birthday and we were having a party for him and the kids over the weekend. The item was originally slated to be delivered between the 30th and no later than June 5th. I called home Depot in the evening on June 5th to find out if the delivery was running late. At this point I was told that the delivery would be arriving no later than June 7th. On June 7th in the afternoon I called to find out if they had a delivery window or eta. I was told that the delivery is handled by a third party vendor and they would not be updating a delivery date for another Forty-Eight hours because the item did not arrive to them until June 5th. I got the tracking number from home Depot customer service and called AAA Cooper. The third party company had no record of the delivery or any record of deliveries going to the address. I called back customer service and the lady said that it was just picked up and they don't have it in their system so they don't have an estimated date. I asked to speak with a supervisor and waited 30 mins on hold before hanging up so I could return to work. After I got off of work I was on the phone with another customer service representative and a supervisor for over an hour and a half in order to get the issue resolved. The conclusion was that the company had picked up the item from home Depot and it was not in their system so after over twenty days from the original order date they could not provide me with an estimated delivery date because they did not even have a tracking number that works. This is not doing the right thing this is not taking care of the customer and this goes against the values home Depot has set. I would be very appalled to see that nobody in upper management addresses this issue with the third party vendor that home Depot trust to conduct their business. The issue currently is still not resolved and I am waiting for tracking so I can try and coordinate with my company last minute to take time off to receive a bulky expensive item when/if it comes in. I would not recommend ordering anything online from home Depot. If it's not in the stores don't bother, go to another vendor. I just received an update as of today: the item was lost home depot accepted no responsibility for the lost item. The manager for customer service said she does not care the item was lost. Her manager does not take calls and does not care about customer service. I had to pay out of pocket to reorder the item, because there is a 3 to 5 day wait to get my money back. Otherwise I could order it after the money came back and have an even later delivery date. I could not even get a guarantee that the same third party would not be shipping the new one. The home Depot does not care about the community or the customer. Not sure who to post this under since it is online order and an issue with home Depot as a whole.

Horrible Customer Service! If you buy an appliance and it is defective from day one of installation, HD will not stand behind the product. They pass responsibility along to the manufacturer. Frigidaire's policy is the THREE technicians have to come out to say that it cannot be fixed and then THREE weeks after you have stayed home for hours to accommodate the techs' schedules, they will let you know if they will replace it. This is the very opposite of Costco. Have never dealt with a more absurd warranty policy in my life.
