I will never use Home Depot again, the staff are rude and most unhelpful. On 7th July in the July 4th Sale I purchased a Frigidaire Top Freezer. Even that transaction was painfully slow it took the appliance specialist over an hour to complete the sale because she could not use the computer. Yes she is elderly but I am 70 and know you have to take the caps lock off! Then she kept telling me I already had an account, I don't I paid cash for everything. At last I purchased the fridge it took her so long she missed the delivery window and I had to wait till the next delivery available. It was delivered yesterday the 11th. After being plugged in for 15 hours its still not cold, I call them on the number they give me, they tell me to all another number. I call then, in Canada and they tell me to call the local branch, I call them each time explaining the issue and twice the same lady laughs and puts the phone down I call back they tell me they can do nothing about it and they give me the same number in Canada. I call then again and explain the fiasco. Eventually they say they will replace it as its obviously defective but I can not have it delivered till July 31st, yes 19 days time. I tell them that I can not wait 19 days, I am ill, and need a fridge, they say they will contact the local store. So they call Poinciana branch and instead of me on hold they leave the line open, I hear them fighting about what should be done, One lady tells the other they have to honor the price that I paid in the sale and the other lady says they will not I have to purchase at full price and they will give me $50 off, They are annoyed because I got a $300 discount in the sale and they say its too much to honor, so I have to have this defective one picked up on 17th July and then on 20th July I can go into Home Depot and get my cash back. I have been on the phone for 4 hours this morning with them and they do not care, they would not even let me speak to the manager. The lady from the resolution center in Canada just said I am going now I am not dealing with this, I have asked for a replacement for the lady you need to sort it and she put the phone down. It was taking so long they eventually decided they would call me back, they offered me a fridge at full price not as good as the one I purchased and $50 off. I give up I told them to come and collect this defective one and I will come and get my money back. Never again will I shop in Home Depot, I have for over 23 year but never again. Avoid them at your Peril particulary the Poincian Kissimmee branch where its hard to ever find anyone that knows anything and they are so rude the way they talk to you. I am dreading going in to get my money cause I know how upset I already am at this situation.

Lisa at the Ewing Twp Home Depot was absolutely amazing in locating the pedestal and basin sink my 84 year old mom and 86 year old dad wanted. She went the extra mile in locating it on the computer, getting the large orange ladder and getting the sink herself from the overhead! She made my elderly parents very happy because she cared about doing a good job! Thank you Lisa

Some items in my latest order required a delivery charge even though they were in stock the same as the rest of the items in my local home depot. The only reason for this would be to cancel the free delivery option. If I have to buy my supplies in person I'll use the other hardware stores for building and gardening supplies.

I used Home Depot’s online window treatment service, purchasing over $3,000 worth of blinds(which included measuring and installation). My advice: DON’T DO IT!! Worst service ever.

DO NOT PURCHASE A REFRIGERATOR FROM HOME DEPOT!!!!!!!!!!! We ordered our refrigerator on June 14th from the store in Northville, MI. Today is July 6th and not only have we not received it, but have not even received a call about it. On four different occasions now we have contacted them, but we have always been promised that the product would arrive at the end of the week, and each time they’ve lied to us and we’ve never received it. When we began to ask for a refund, we were told a new fridge would be delivered, but again they lie to keep your money!!!! If you need a refrigerator, you are better off checking Facebook marketplace or a back alley before dealing with these people. Terrible customer service and terrible experience. We will never make a major purchase from this store ever again.

I went to home depot in Kahului HI for pvc fittings. They were out of the bulk apparently. The person in that department told me that they didn't have any more. He then asked how many of the tee connectors I needed and started to count them out. I had3told him that I wasn't paying. 91 each for the connectors because I needed 50 of them. RJ told me that when you buy 12 then the price goes down WRONG. I got to the check out and everything that I was told was a lie. Unfortunately there's only one on t h e island.

I got there to home depot in santa fe nm at about 7:30 am on July the 2nd. I went to the returns section and there I was helped right away by a nice girl. I bought 25 boxes of flooring and paid for them. I asked the girl that I needed to get loaded and told her I have a bad back. I asked her can you call somebody to help me. She did and nobody came. After half our waiting I went to pro desk. I saw a man talking there. It was Elias the manager. I asked him that I have been waiting to get loaded and asked for my receipt he got mad and told me you have just been waiting half hour and walked off. I went back to returns and there was a man standing there and asked him that I have been waiting for about an hour to get loaded. He got on my face mad and he said I am trying to help you. Then I asked him what is your name. He was the store manager Patrick He has a very bad attitude. I think the customer comes first. I finally got loaded by the assistant Manager Arianna which was really nice. I think your managers need to be nicer to your customers.

Home Depot has issues with their major appliance repair and replace policy. If you purchase an item, and it becomes defective within 48 hours after delivery, you are on your own. You can’t return the product, and the only thing Home Depot will do to help is give you manufacturer phone numbers. Buy your appliances from a company willing to stand behind them, and who is willing to assist their customers!!!

Cicero, New York location, some months ago I bought some keys there, had them made. I was told that the information gets stored in the machine so if I ever lose a key, I can come to them. They can look it up and make me a new one. Well today, the key broke, and it was hard to read the serial number, but they told me on the phone that they could do it. I went in and couldn’t get anyone to wait on me So I left and called them from the parking lot. 3 people said yes, they save the info, but then they changed their minds and said no. One person was truthful and said we saved the info, but we have no idea how to retrieve it. That’s poor. I finally was transferred to assistant mgr who did nothing but fight with me and tell lies. She threw me on hold without telling me and sent me to someone else. I asked if that woman was the store manager and she said yes I am. How can I help you. After she hung up on me, I found out that she lied, she was just another assistant manager, so I was just passed around were they absolutely no concern for the customer. It’s not their fault that the key broke although it lasted more than a couple of months but it is their fault that I’m still sitting outside with absolutely no assistance and all they do is hang up. I asked for a corporate number and they gave me numbers that do not exist. They may not know this. I looked those numbers up in Google and they are apparently Home Depot numbers, but they are all disconnected so the corporate office doesn’t even care. Stay clear.

Leo Leopardi at Home Depot Wharton, NJ. Was an outstanding, knowledgeable, courteous, helpful, honest, friendly and efficient appliance specialist. My delivery went smoothily and I love my new. Refrigerator. I will return to the store when I need a new appliance and have informed my friends of the excellent service.

I’m a pro member which includes me receiving calls throughout the day therefore when my contractors make a purchase under my company name for items I may need for renovations. On July 2 I received a call from a very rude, ignorant and non patient worker who to my surprise is named Trafeena, who works at the Home Depot located at 680 Lamar Hutcheson Pkwy Riverdale, GA 30274 Initially I wasn’t concerned with her rushing me off the phone which caused her not to hear the zip code I was giving so she put in the wrong zip code and repeated to me that my card declined. As I repeated my card information to her 2-3 times she said to me “I heard you the first time” I ignored her and continued to give her my information she rushed me again and continued to put in the wrong information. She wasn’t listening to anything I was saying and she continued to say “I heard you the first time” but she also continued to put in the wrong information. I acted kind and professional throughout because I understand we all have bad days but it took everything in my spirit not to go to the store. Instead I acted professional unlike her and spoke with her manager Angela, who was very apologetic and kind. This is my first time dealing with someone like Trafeena at the Home Depot usually they are very kind especially to members who have business accounts with them. I go to the Home Depot as often as 4 times a week for work. Trafeena isn’t patient or professional enough to hold a position at the Home Depot even if it was cleaning the bathrooms, not with her horrible attitude. I appreciate Angela for being respectful and taking the time out to adhere to my complaint.

What went wrong...EVERYTHING! From the start of my order to the installation of the flooring. The lack of communication between the store in Mechanicsburg PA and the customer was horrendous. The salesman, who kept stating I've done this for 35 years was a complete incompetent. He just wanted a sale and told you what he thought you wanted to hear. His lack of knowledge of what a third party installer can and couldn't do is what caused me to be dissatisfied. It took 3 weeks from the time of order to the installation, and yet it wasn't complete because the vinyl planking couldn't be done. With all honesty, Home Depot has lost a loyal customer and I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND your store for anything. Lowe's will have my business from now on. I do not recommend Home Depot Home Services for anyone. Customer beware!

Dear Customer care, I am deeply disappointed by the discriminatory and rude behavior of the cashier Doris at The Home Depot in Midwest City, OK, located at 1600 S. Sooner Rd., on June 30, 2024, at 10:53 a.m. Doris was not only incompetent and rough but also exhibited sharp and dismissive behavior towards me simply because of my skin color. I believe The Home Depot is committed to serving all customers equally, regardless of their race or ethnicity. Doris refused to scan items with barcodes facing her and insisted I should know the prices instead of looking them up in the system. This is not acceptable customer service. Despite being a paying customer, I was treated with disrespect and inequality. It's particularly disheartening that Doris, who herself is black, would engage in discriminatory behavior. As a result of this negative experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere, where I am treated with dignity and fairness. Respectfully, I am a customer of yours for 30 years, spending a significant amount every week, which you do not want to lose due to Doris' discrimination based on my skin color and her incompetence as a cashier.

Home depot did an amazing job delivering and installing my dishwasher. Yoel was so friendly and helpful. Really appreciate how quickly my appliance arrive and how great the communication with setting up a delivery date and time. Thanks so much Home Depot.

A tragic and unhelpful experience. I ordered cabinets to deliver. First no communication on when they would deliver until they decided to show up randomly. Once we finally did receive them they were damaged!! Home Depot was quick to have me pay again for another set of cabinets and now a week in have not had a phone call for return or credit when i was told within 24 hours. After calling them again they now say it could be 5 more business days before someone even calls me. I could take them back to home depot if i could lift them and had a moving truck. Bad business to lie to customers.

Miserable experience with the East Ft. Lauderdale store. My oder deliver... almost 1/2 of the packages were damaged. They store left a broken down pallet on my driveway... repeated calls to the 800 number and store with no results. One employee gave me a fake name "Mary"... when I called back trying to reach the manager (McKinnie?) I ended up talking to someone in HR who said "no one here by that name". Tryed again to reach McKinnie and they would not put my call through. Left a message for her which was not returned. Had to pay $50 to have the pallet removed. I've filed a complaint with BBB for the store and for now on its'... LOEWS

Placed online order 6/27/24 online the delivery was “ next day” (which was a Friday) but after order was placed it was changed to Saturday. I was ok with that, made plans to have help here for our backyard project. Saturday 6/29 We waited literally all day for the delivery, even received an email that our delivery was “ two stops away” we hung out outside under porch - no delivery. At 9:53 pm I got an email that said they missed the delivery “without attempt”. Sunday 6/30 I call Home Depot because now it’s 10am Sunday and still no delivery. After holding on the phone with them The Rep. says it “was attempted” I said there’s no way, we waited all day no one came, and on the delivery it clearly states no one has to be home or sign for this - we also added clear notes that they’d have to leave at a specific area- no one came. Sent her the screenshot from Home Depot saying it was not attempted The Rep. says sorry they can have it delivered 7/2 ! Now I’m starting to get upset. At that point I asked to speak with a manager. The local manager calls me sounding bored with life and says he doesn’t know what happened that they hire people to do deliveries. I said so you have no knowledge about what may have happened to my delivery from yesterday? He says No. No sorry I understand your frustration… just they don’t deliver Sundays so he can’t find out what happened the earliest they can arrange is Tuesday 7/2. Very disappointed with the whole process. Besides …I get things happen, but they literally have alllll day to deliver and to receive an email that they’re out for delivery and then another that they’re two stops away is just being irresponsible and not accountable. I had help with our outdoor project Saturday and made a whole day of it only to be let down. In short Unfortunately, you cannot count on receiving your paid products ordered in a timely manner which for this particular business time is of the essence, and Customer service and management seem extremely unbothered to be of much assistance or customer service. I would not repeat business again due to this and should have went with Lowe’s. Lesson learned. Side note; I have a credit card with Lowe’s - I went with Home Depot because of the sooner delivery time. Again lesson learned.
