My Westinghouse pressure washer was delivered today, UPSIDE DOWN. When I opened the box, no manual or instructions. Nothing to tell me how much oil, how to assemble the handle, how to assemble the hose handle, nothing!! After calling them 3 times between 3:10 pm and 5:20 pm and talking to three different people, one person told me that she would send me the instructions and manual, her name was Ximena, however, I received nothing. Then I called again and got Jonny (that's how he said he spelled gus name) and he was rude and told me that my instructions and manual would arrive in 72 hrs!! Then he told me that my phone was bad and causing the instructions to be blurry when I zoomed in because it was so small print. Yes, I got mad and told him I would like to speak with a supervisor and he said "there is no supervisor, I advise you to go to your nearest store". I again asked to speak to a manager over him and again he told me the same thing. And guess what, I lost it...yes. I told him f u. I am so tired of spending money that I work hard for and you get ripped off and customer service is absolutely ridiculous. Shame on you Jonny and Home Depot. You can come get your pressure washer and I will go else where.

DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT! I purchased a new dryer with steam. I was told I needed to buy a special attachment to keep the warranty. I purchased the parts and when they delivered the new dryer the steam kit was not on the truck. They put an old rusty hose from another dryer they had on the truck. Now I have a new dryer with no warranty! I had stock and a Home Depot credit card which is now cancelled and stock sold. The worst thing in business is to charge a customer for a part that was NOT INSTALLED! I will never shop at Home Depot again and neither should anyone else. Lowes is now my go to store

Fridge, oven, and dishwasher arrived one week late. Then delivery driver would not drive up the driveway, said his truck was too big, and he refused to return with a smaller truck to complete the delivery. The "delivery" company contracts with Home Depot and Home Depot sided with the delivery company. No worries. Lowe's managed to complete the delivery with no problems. Thank you Lowe's for not being feckless and worthless.

Ordered appliances June 2nd. Supposed to arrive June 17th. The delivery company (RAS Logistics out of Johnson City) delayed and rescheduled to June 24th. They brought a truck way too big . Now telling personnel at Home Depot they refuse to deliver my appliances and to meet them somewhere. Like where? It was noted from the beginning to request a smaller truck or one without a lower lift . Our driveway is normal except for a small dip at the end. Please fire this logistics company and get a new one. And Home Depot store in Hickory refused to accept the appliances and bring them to us. How can anyone get anything delivered if they no one will take responsibility. RAS also told Home Depot that blocking traffic. The traffic that went around the truck are my neighbors and we know them. I also had other neighbors there to witness what happened and I’m attaching pictures of our driveway. The issue is just having a different truck with lower lift. FedEx just backed a huge truck up the driveway right after this delivery came. We have had various deliveries from other places such as Lowe’s without a problem.

On June 23, 2024 I bought 3 bags of Virgo black mulch. I opened the 1st bag and dumped it where I wanted to spread it~ I was very disappointed and shocked that it was full of river rock. Some small and some very large. My neighbor didn't believe me, she had to come see for herself. I opened a second bag and same thing. When I called the store, the 1st person to help asked if I wanted to return the bags, I had just explained how I had just dumped and spread the mulch. Was I to scoop it back up? Then she was just quiet, said she didn't know what she could do for me~ I had to ask for a manager. Very dissapointed with the product and the lack of care from the 1st service person who not willing to go above and beyond to help

We ordered a Wurzee 60 in. ceiling fan for our porch. It is very easy to install. And the fan has a remote with lights and timed remote to turn off itself. It looks great! I highly recommend this fan if you need a well made good priced fan.

Ryobi sale buy a battery kit and get one tool free- huge display with many tools set up. Went to buy the vacuum and was told it’s not part of the deal- though there is a vacuum on the flyer and the sign said tools $199 and less- this vacuum was marked $199- was stocked under and with all sale items/ evidently the skew was different. Manager and staff made us feel crazy and like scammers ourselves- this was SO MISLEADING- NOT CLEAR. Poor marketing at the very least. Most importantly- there was no other vacuum to buy!!!! We couldn’t get a different “correct” vaccum- just can’t do that deal, can’t get a new vacuum. We have many ryobi tools- including a vacuum that is beginning to fail. We frequent Home Depot as our first choice diy store. It is evidently more important for Home Depo to ensure skews match than stand by what they advertise and surely we now know the customer is NEVER right. We don’t matter. I will work very hard to buy ONLINE any required ryobi products to maintain the existing tools I have, and not at home depot. We will also be trying to move away from ryobi. I just feel screwed. Btw- we do have photos of the display, the signs, the products that are priced as required. Am not posting now, but would love to follow up with that if needed. And our referrals to friends will NEVER again be for Home Depot or ryobi.

Military vet, almost four years employed. Management style is passive agreesive to say the least. If you advocate for yourself, you are then ostracized, and systematically targeted until you either quit, get fired, or if you're smart; file with the EEOC before you get fired and use that time to build your case. And be sure to utilize the Federal and State statues i.e. "One Party Consent". This law allows you to audio record ANY AND EVERY conversation you have with your managers or anyone else. The great part is you do not have to inform them that you're recording! This is how you when a case against them!

On May 27,2024 I ordered a $1,500. French door refrigerator at the Utica NY Home Depot. The refrigerator was delivered on 6/5/24 by an unmarked truck and 2 delivery boys. Both spoke broken English and had difficulty communicating with me and understanding me. They appeared in a rush as one boy rang my doorbell 3x and started banging on the glass storm door before I could get to it. When I answered the door he was shouting "Home Depot", "Home Depot". I told him yes I was expecting HD delivery. He turned and ran back to truck. The other boy had started to tear the wrapping/box off the refrigerator while it was on the truck platform. He threw the styrofoam and plastic wrap on the platform and the wind quickly blew it all off the truck into the street and neighbors yards. He grabbed a few pieces of plastic and stuck them in the truck. the other styrofoam blew around my yard and down the street. He did not retrieve any of it. He loaded the refrigerator onto a dolly and pushed it through the grass to my door. He and his helper attempted to bring the refrigerator into my house through the front door. It was clear at that point that the wrong size refrigerator was delivered but both boys attempted to force it through my front door. When they gave up trying the entire wood storm door framing was scraped and broken, the metal on the door and frame was bent beyond repair. He had to remove the door prop attached at the bottom of the door, which he set aside. When they were done the door prop assembly had disappeared. He tried blaming me, saying I took it but he had thrown it in his trash box and it was never found. Once the refrigerator was inside the boys found that it would not fit through the other doorways to the kitchen They forced it through and had scraped the paint off the wood baseboards and walls so they had no choice but to get it back out to the truck and return it to Home Depot. Mainly because of the damage that was already done to the refrigerator and because Home Depot sent the wrong size refrigerator. More damage was done in the removal as they were still in a rush to get it back to the truck. Both boys remarked, "faster" to each other. In contacting Home Depot, I was given a full refund and discussed the behaviors of the delivery boys. A replacement refrigerator that was the correct size was ordered and scheduled for delivery TODAY! Guess What? The refrigerator was the wrong size AGAIN. This time it arrived 6/22/24 in a legitimate rental truck with 2 polite workers. It was brought inside and made it to the first doorway into a hallway when it was discovered that it too was again the WRONG SIZE !! They both apologized and said they will apply for a full refund for me. They removed the refrigerator and took it back to the truck to return it to HOME DEPOT. GUESS WHAT HOME DEPOT! You just LOST another customer.

I have spent TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars shopping at Home Depot -- an entire kitchen remodel, all of my major appliances, all of my ceiling fans, all of my bathroom upgrades, etc., all within less than a year. And they're REFUSING to take back a $145 toilet with a hairline crack? Their reasoning is that I have reached a 'limit' on returns -- gee, does that include the shower stall that also arrived with a CRACK, a WRONG ceiling fan, and toilet kits that NEVER ARRIVED? (As confirmed with UPS.) I reviewed all of my returns and they don't even add up to $1K. And they were replacements for the EXACT same and/or correct items (and not some returns 'on a whim'). So basically, the message is that if you continue to shop with Home Depot they will eventually STICK YOU with a damaged product. I guess when you're a publicly traded company with numbers in the billions you don't GIVE A RIP about your customers. But guess what? It's CUSTOMERS that Home Depot is SUPPOSED TO BE serving, it's CUSTOMERS that put them where they are. Perhaps contractors are the only ones they wish 'to serve.' I was planning on making more large purchases from them but NO MORE. Why would I take that chance? They have lost a HUGE, LOYAL CUSTOMER. I know that may be a drop in the bucket, but I am a firm believer that business practices like this eventually DO NOT lead to prosperity in the long run.

Their website really needs to explain when you select delivery. Delivery is assumed to be delivery from home depot not ups. Some how in check out it should state your item is coming not HD but UPS. We were shocked to get a shipment notification instead of a delivery notification. My husband is 70 I'm in a wheelchair. How are we supposed to get it in the house? We chose delivery for that reason so a Home depot rep would be bringing it in the house. Not dumped at front door. Also filled a customer support form out and have been totally ignored. Will see hope it's not damaged by ups.

We have been waiting for two weeks for a delivery and install job. Called eight times to make sure we're home for it. Three times now, we've been promised a time window and that they'd call before arriving. Three times, they showed up at the wrong time or even a full day early with either a phone call from our driveway or a note on the door about a phone call they never made. Three times, I've called with only my wife's phone number and got an explanation and every time my wife calls, they won't talk to her without an order number. The phone bank ladies are very nice with the apologies; everything else is absolute chaos.

Ordered several items for delivery. Midway through the day, the tracker showed no updates, so I called for some kind of reassurance, but 5 different people told me they couldn't track the package, couldn't confirm it was on a truck, couldn't help me. Never received the delivery. Never received an explanation or apology --nothing! It was like I didn't matter at all. Very weird business model!

Don’t shop at the The Home Depot in The Dalles, OR. They treat all their customers like thieves by keeping everything locked up. Then when you ask for help to unlock an item, nobody shows up. I have waited 10 to 20 minutes on several occasions, often without getting service. Taking my business to Ace.
