Bought 60 inch Toro riding lawnmower from Home Depot on August 8, 2024 Belt has since jumped off three times and fourth time mulitated it tried to get them to fix it to no avail spoke with Square Trade Allstate, Toro, asst. Managers, store manager, even corporate, was referred to guy that works on lawn mowers not for Home Depot but through Home Depot was told warranty only covered belt for one month been working on at least a month and mower supposed the have manufactures warranty and was coached into buying extended warranty. Now we have broke mower with no kind of service would not recommend buying from them worst service ever tried even contacting store manager numerous times guess she is still on break to remove no good warranties

Will never order lumber again from Home Depot! I swear they pick out the shitiest pieces to deliver to people! Couldn’t use half of the 2x6’s they delivered…. I’m going to Lowe’s from here on out…… Nice move…. Idiots! 😡👋👋👋

Don’t believe this sales I’ve been checking prices for months I am every day at Home Depot and Prices are the same for a few months some even higher than before,I don’t care, but just don’t raise prices for Black Friday

Husband was making an inquiry about his card by phone. Needed to update address. The guy on the phone was a complete douch to me while I was spelling the address numerous times cause he has no listening skills. Pathetic.

I ordered 2 large items from home depot. I was expecting a call for delivery date as people who work can't be available at the drop of a hat. I realize now they are shipped through Fed Ex or other carrier and home depot does nothing to help coordinate delivery dates. Called Fed Ex since estimated delivery date was a day I work. Could not speak to a real person. All automated. Not sure what will happen when I am not home when delivered but I am sure home depot will not give a .... I will NEVER order from home depot again as I have spent a lot of time on the phone to accomplish nothing.

I have lost complete trust in Home Depot and will not be shopping there anymore. I bought the Dewalt drill package, which supposedly they said you buy the batteries for $199 and get the drill for free. I asked about the return policy and that is were they FAILED to tell me that if I return the drill and batteries that I would not be receiving a full refund. And that is what happened and all the manager could tell me was that it is written on the receipt the max refund which was not the original payment. Well that is too late when it shows on the receipt after I already purchased it and then she continued to state that it is on the poster in fine print. There is no way to read the fine print since the poster is hanging from the ceiling. This is definitely the worst experience I have had. I feel I was cheated and lost COMPLETE TRUST IN HOME DEPOT. If I can give them zero stars I would.

Racist I moved changed address to new place I bought a new phone and had new number them for people was horrible, but I didn’t get a chance to get my address changed but when it came time to get my telephone number changed, they just went crazy. Then the representative, which was the lady lied my card went to the old address and they returned it to Home Depot and when I called her to update my new address, she said OK Miss Woody I’mma mail it out to your new address. She changed my new address, but they just as racist as they wanna Be just racist as she lie just lie I don’t get somebody $2000 credit limit and then shopping in the store they ought to take care of damn bill bought a ring camera for $100 in this trash needs to be charged every three days. I only spent 366 in there I was waiting on the card. They terrible the foreigners they are in let them have it they fraud me ran. My credit said I was approved. They never sent the car back. Never sent the car resent it. How do you do that? I got a bill in the mail, but the account number on the bill wouldn’t allow me to add it to my bank to do bill pay you know that’s bad they flagged the account. They terrible racist.

I can’t believe the inefficiency of their delivery policies. I have never received anything on time and I am so done. I have never received anything on time that I’ve ordered, ever. I will definitely look for other options in the future. How can this size be that unreliable?

Today Home Depot in Brookhaven, MS cancelled a delivery when the driver was less than a few miles from my house. Based on google maps the driver determined HE COULD NOT BACK INTO MY DRIVEWAY AND REFUSED TO MAKE THE DELIVERY. I have been receiving large truck deliveries for 14 years and all of a sudden a WHIMPY driver lacks the driving skills to backup. The store manager said he has NO control over deliveries. I cancelled my $1100 order and placed it with Lowes who does have drivers that can backup their trucks.

I ordered a patio door on Friday 11/8 and told it would be delivered by Monday 11/11. It did not come. I was told that there was a problem and it would be delayed until Saturday 11/16. I get a call the next day telling me they made a mistake and it wasn’t going to get to the house until early December. At this point I just want to cancel the order and get a refund. I’m being told I have to wait until it’s delivered (I don’t think it’s even left the warehouse) a few weeks from now then they’ll cancel the order and refund me the money. I bought a Toro leaf blower from Home Depot last year. Now the battery is not able to keep a full charge. I tried returning it to Home Depot and i was told i have no warranty so they cannot take back the goods. The warranty for Toro is 1 year. Home depot has in no way try to assist in even giving a number for Toro. I spent $331 dollars at Home Depot, cannot get in contact with anyone at Toro, i have been speaking to a voice machine, i have left messages and to date nothing. I have no intention to buy anything agin from Home Depot Watchung. plus their customer Service is nothing to speak about. I also called and they had me on hold waiting for 20 mins. unacceptable Home Depot

So this evening I decided to do a little home shopping for a chest freezer at Home Depot in linden. Upon getting there, I started looking for an employee at Home Depot to assist me on my findings. There were lots all around. But no one was available. I proceeded to go off walking around the store. And saw a female employee at a desk, and proceeded to asked her a question. Little did I know, that it would have turned out into a heated argument. The female employee, was very much rude and disrespectful and should not be employed at the Home Depot in linden or any other home depot. She wasn’t having it to hear my concerns. To the Home Depot company, what a shame and disgrace that you have people like this working in your establishment. Believe me, you won’t be getting any purchases from me again. Your staff needs to show respect and learn to be humble towards the customers in your establishment. Shame shame shame to the employee at Home Depot in linden. And for the record, I made my purchase at Walmart and was quite please of the service I got there.

Today i returned a defective item to my local store after having it shipped to my home. I paid for it with a gift card and the balance in a credit card. The clerk neglected to let me know that I would receive a store credit that would not be accepted for online purchases. Given that the item is not sold in the store i came home to reorder the item the same way I did the first time. The store credit did not work and when I called the store to complain I was told I'd have to come back in and reorder in person. Mind you the closest store is NOT nearby. Why wasn't I given a gift card like u originally had? They man said it was how returns with a gift card are handled. Since when? I've not had this happen before. He wouldn't even take the reorder over the phone. Also I asked for the manager and she wouldn't come to the phone. The message I was given was that the return was handled properly and would not come to the phone. Home depot you have lost my business! In addition I would let anyone know that your return when used a gift card will only get you a store credit! I will not purchase any gift cards there either if I were you. Especially if you are not nearby a store.

Ordered a fridge that was scheduled FOUR TIMES for delivery and NEVER delivered. Finally got fed up and canceled the order and was told it would take 7-10 business days for it to process. This is after me having to constantly contact them about the order status and being lied to, and now that it has been almost 10 business days I contacted them AGAIN and was told that the refund request was not “pushed through” their system. WTF???? Will never order anything big from them again. Terrible experience. Was not going to post a review but after them dropping the ball yet again I felt I needed to say something.

I purchased a refrigerator with an updated water line. They never told me they only covered 12 foot of line. What ensued was a night mare. The Managers went back on their road. Never again!

Never use the Pro Referral Program! Our experience with Home Depot's Pro Referral Program has shown us that it is a poorly managed program with no accountability. We were referred to a contractor named Mr. Riberto (WR Contractors LLC - Sugar Land, TX) for a painting job. Mr. Riberto represented himself as capable of handling plumbing and flooring repairs, so we hired him to address a first-floor leak and a leaking faucet on the third floor. Unfortunately, his work led to substantial damage to our home, and then he became unresponsive and abandoned the project entirely. When we filed a complaint with the Pro Referral Program, we received a response from Evelyn, a representative, who informed us that the program had no power to take action against the contractor. Instead, she advised us to contact the contractor’s liability insurance for compensation. We then followed up with Evelyn, clarifying that we weren’t seeking financial compensation from the Pro Referral Program. Our request was simply for them to consider removing Mr. Riberto from their referral list to protect other Home Depot customers. We received no further response from her. The Home Depot Pro Referral Program appears to encourage this behavior by failing to hold contractors accountable. When we told Mr. Riberto we would report him to the Pro Referral Program, he replied, “If you want to call Home Depot, go ahead!” This reflects the lack of consequences and oversight within the Pro Referral Program. They seem unwilling to remove bad contractors from their referral list, showing a blatant disregard for customer experience and safety. Home Depot’s Pro Referral Program is a bad program that deserves a one-star rating. They simply do not care about their customers.

I bought a 42 inch Cub Cadet riding mower from Home Depot in Hillsboro Oregon. A Home Depot warranty on the mower wasn’t offered to me. I was told that the mower had a factory warranty. Bought it on April 2, 2024. About 14 hours and 4 months later the engine went out. Contacted Home Depot and was told that since I didn’t buy there warranty, I would have to take it to a certified dealer. Evidently Home Depot just sells the mower but has nothing to do when they break unless you bought their warranty. They gave me a number to call for a certified dealer. That mower has now been in the shop for 4 months. Cub Cadet won’t fix the mower because they didn’t make the engine that was used in it. Home Depot washed their hands of it because I didn’t buy their warranty that was never offered. The Cub Cadet certified dealer can’t fix it because they aren’t a dealer for the make of engine that came with the mower when I bought it, which was Briggs & Stratton. It has been 4 months now and no one wants to be responsible for it but Home Depot didn’t have a problem taking my $2300.00 dollars for the mower when I brought it. Now I am out the money and the mower and have no idea if I will ever get the mower back or if I will have to pay to have it fixed for a mower that was under warranty . Why is Home Depot still selling Cub Cadet mowers when they don’t stand behind their product. It leaves a really bad taste in my mouth.

Ordered a Anderson patio sliding door for almost 2700 est delivery Oct 31 no days est Nov 1 ok no big deal was told I would get a email when it was shipped. Been a month now the order had been escalated ok fine now the rep is saying seller not responding could be another 3 to 4 weeks ya no thanks. What a hassle home depot why sell something u can't get!

I ordered a fridge once and received a delivery date that came and went. I kept getting the run around for over a month. Turns out they never released the PO to the company. They allowed me to swap for a different fridge, but the initial promotion was over and all the others were full price. I kept what I had ordered and received the fridge months after original order. The fridge when arrived had a large dent. I also tried to order pack out boxes with a buy more save more, but my order was cancelled. I called and was told it was a pricing error and it wouldn't be honored.

I had a bad experience with custom window treatments in Naples Florida. Run and run fast. The Home Depot rep will tell you everything is fine and then if you hire their contractor to measure, it's something different and it makes no sense. It's very hard to find someone honest and ethical of a contractor in Florida. If you find somebody don't let them go. Good luck
