Had to wait for 9 months for items to arrive damaged. Overall poor quality, terrible packaging, worst customer service ever.

The website shows items to look high-end and of good quality, the reality is very different. I ordered a full-size mirror which when arrived was badly damaged. The packaging felt damp, the polystyrene had black spots all over it (mould) and looked like it had been against a wall as the carboard was bent at the top. The mirror itself was dirty, poor quality, and badly damaged with the top section hanging off with all the nails exposed. I notified them, they said they would send a replacement, I insisted I wanted a refund. They were doing everything possible to keep hold of my money and i was getting nowhere. I would strongly advise against dealing with this company. Two weeks later I did get my money back but only because I raised a dispute with my bank, and not because HomesDirect365 refunded me. This experience was so much more stressful than necessary.

This companies furniture is cheap and terribly made but they charge you a fortune for. I ordered a telephone box style drinks cabinet in white. It was awful when it arrived, I sent pics to the sales team, they offered me £50 off and some touch up paint. I said touch up paint on something that's brand new. We eventually agreed on a replacement this time in grey, we only took one piece of wrapping off then you could see the damage again. We rejected the item. So I contacted a homes direct 365, explained the situation and was told I ordered a replacement it arrived I rejected it so it's my problem. So I sent the photos to a woman named Leah, to my amazement she said there's nothing wrong with it and boy she was adamant about it. So I said I want what I paid for, £650 for this item. So I said I'd keep it and get it to an acceptable look for a substantial discount. She said £50 and some paint. No I said, so send me a new one and if that is damaged I will send it back until I get one like you advertise on your website. She said u will have to wait as they are out of stock. I said I been waiting since early January. What a waste of time. If it don't turn up looking like what your advertising, why are you selling them. The quality is a joke, cheap MDF made to a poor workmanship. Cheap in China tho. Stay away I will keep you all updated. Thank you

The fact i am having to give a 1 star rating is appalling as I would not give this company even 1 star. My goods were delivered 3 weeks ago however I am on crutches disabled so I had to wait for my brother to unpack the furniture, one of the items was nearly 100kg 2 of the items faulty one broken glass not even unpacked out of plastic packaging and one has a defect in the middle of a piece of glass . So they sent me out defected and damaged goods These items even in the sale were not cheap and the company today has stated they will not replace them so I have had to contact trading standards and I will have to also refer to the ombudsman. They say the reason for this is it has taken me 3 weeks to contact them I had already advised I am on crutches so how am I suppose to unpackage 100kg side unit on my own with no hands available to do so as I am on crutches Absolutely disgusting in there lack of empathy to my situation. Do not order goods from these sharks as they will send you out damaged and faulty goods and breach your consumer rights by refusing to do anything .

Very traumatic and terrible experience with homesdirect 365. I will never ever again order anything from this dubious company. I placed an order since 11th November,2020. This was meant to be delivered on 3rd of January. Every time I call, I am always promised the order will be delivered the following week. I have asked for my refund via emails several times and haven’t had any reply. Customer service is terrible. Now I am out of pocket and been wasting time chasing up. I will be taking this up legally. I am not even sure if this company is a scam despite the website looking credible.

HomesDirect365 lied to me, accused me of lying and offered no care, remorse or compensation for the stress they caused for my elderly parents during the pandemic. They blamed my parents on multiple occasions for the company's own negligence and dishonesty and as a result, I've learnt a few lessons about who to buy from in the future and the importance of always leaving a paper trail! I'll keep this as short as possible. My elderly mum and dad generously ordered me a mirror for my Birthday, last September. They live off of their pensions, so I was very grateful. After two months of waiting for the mirror to be delivered (with zero updates from the company) in November, I decided to ring and cancel the order on my parents' behalf and with their blessing and we agreed we would look for a mirror elsewhere. We were sympathetic of a company during the pandemic, who may be having trouble sourcing stock and keeping up with their customer service. I explained to the lady on the phone that the mirror was taking longer than we would have expected and asked her to please cancel the order. She agreed very easily and it was so quick that I remember asking 'is that everything you need from me?' She said yes and that the order was cancelled and that my parents would receive the money back into their account shortly. Fast forward to late January 2021, imagine my parents' surprise when a delivery man arrives with a mirror at their doorstep. They refused delivery which was met with 'it's not my problem, I can't take it back' and had to accept it. Mum told me, so I rang HomesDirect365 and explained to someone called Laura that there must be a mistake. Laura abruptly told me that there was no record of my cancellation and that if we want to return the mirror, we'll need to pay for a courier. I was stunned. I made a complaint via email, as that was the only option given to me explained the situation and asked that they graciously cover the cost of a courier. I was met by the same brick wall. I wish I could share screenshots here of the emails that went back and fourth between us. There was no offer to investigate further, no apology for holding my parents' money (unknown to us) for four months, without communication or a product to show for it. They actually told me that it was our fault, because my parents 'should have checked their bank statement.' I explained that my parents are elderly, don't have online banking and have been shielding during the pandemic, so as such, they have not visited the bank for a while. Besides, it is not their responsibility to make sure a company is acting ethically. HomesDirect365 finally made the mistake of telling me that it was not company policy to authorise refunds to someone who wasn't the card holder - they then insinuated that I was lying about the initial cancellation because, of course, their staff would NEVER go against this policy. Our back-and-forth came to a head when HomesDirect365 admitted that they had received an email from my mum, back on the date that I cancelled the order, confirming that her daughter had cancelled the order (good old mum, always leaving a paper trail!) As we now know, this email should have raised some red flags because company policy states that refunds cannot be given to those who are not the purchaser of the product. I raised this to HomesDirect365 and asked why, when they received this email, was it not investigated. Funnily enough, they stopped replying to my emails. I sent two chaser emails and finally received a short response which shut the conversation down and ignored my questions about why my mum's email wasn't investigated. I can only assume that lying about cancelling orders is something that HomesDirect365 do regularly, when naive, trusting customers like me ring up to cancel and don't ensure there's a robust paper trail. The reluctance to investigate the issue and blame placed on the customer is something that I have never experienced before with a company, the whole experience was very very weird. I'll sell the mirror for my mum and dad through Ebay/Facebook Marketplace to make sure they get their money back and help them set up internet banking so they don't have to go through this again. Hopefully this review helps stop anyone else experiencing the same thing - shop somewhere reputable, don't risk losing your money to this dodgy retailer.

Absolutely horrendous company, order didn't arrive on the day it was suppose to and was given a pathetic excuse of their van breaking down and the new date for delivery was 8 days later. I called customer service and the lady I spoke to Sarah was so rude, decided to threaten me that if I don't hear her out she would hang up and not proceed with the return as its in her control. Absolutely disgusting manners and she eventually hanged up in my face as I was talking. I called back to which her tone changed and she said they would issue the refund in 10 working days. They're a scam. The reason for the delay in delivery was because of where I lived, I haven't ever been told that living in London was a reason my order would arrive late. I advise everyone never to buy anything from this site.

I ordered a French chair from HomesDirect365, and once it arrived, it didn't look the same as it did on their website. Before ordering the chair, I made sure to check the colourway of the wood and upholstery on five different monitors (since sometimes it makes a difference) - and on all of those the chair looked very neutral toned, perhaps even on the cool side. On the website photo the upholstery looks taupe/natural, while wood looks slightly ashy but in no way white, and even the description reads 'Natural Wooden Colour'. However, the chair which has arrived was very light and warm in shade. The upholstery has yellow undertones - so I would say the colour is more like bright cream. While the wood is extremely heavily white-washed, which gives a completely different look to the chair, as well as makes it look very inexpensive. Most importantly, wood colour discrepancy means that it absolutely doesn't suit the rest of the decor, in particular the desk for which the chair was bought. When I contacted the cutomer service, all they could say was this: "Sorry you are not happy with your item. You can see clearly the white wash finish on the natural wood on our website. After looking at the images you have sent it is as it should be, and as these are handmade and can differ. Unfortunately we would not take this any further." I paid almost £200 for a chair which doesn't look like it does on their website. And even though the comany suggests that my eyes are not seeing right, everyone in my household can also clearly see the difference from the provided photographs and website screenshots. I haven't encountered customer service this bad and uncaring for years, so I am quite taken back to be honest. I would not be recommending this vendor to anyone.

Just a warning to all customers who return any goods please track your parcel . There does not appear to be a returns policy for this company ( rather worrying)& my parcel appears to have disappeared into the abis . No tracking = no refund . Be warned . Gave 2 stars as the item returned was quite nice but just too large .

AVOID this company!! I ordered two chests from this company, nearly £400 for the pair. They both arrived in a very poor state - chipped edges and discolouration. Not at all up to quality. It took several attempts to get in touch, as the company ignored my emails. When I phoned I was told I’d be sent returns labels, which never showed up. I had to telephone daily until they emailed me the label, and then it was only one label so Fed Ex couldn’t take both chests and I had to go through the rigmarole of ringing up customer services again. Both chests have now been collected and returned and STILL NO REFUND. I’ve emailed to enquire when I’d get my money back and have received this disgustingly rude response: “We are not trying to 'pull the wool' at all at the current moment our staffing level is extremely low due to the current situation we have had no update of any items being returned so unfortunately you will have to wait.” Avoid this company - my experience has been that they sell poor quality goods, and then violate your consumer rights. I will be taking this company to small claims court now to get my refund. Absolutely shocking amount of stress and effort over a couple of chests of drawers. Take my advice and take your business elsewhere.

I ordered a dressing table and matching stool in October 2020, no indication that it wasn’t in stock. Only after order was placed and paid for did I receive an email saying items were due in November. November came and went with no update until I emailed them and they said the items would be delivered in December. Still no contact until the day of delivery mid January when I was at work and had an email from fedex saying they would deliver that day. When I arrived home and looked at the items the dressing table was very poor quality with chipped paint and damage where holes had been drilled. The dressing table mirror was the wrong way around so couldn’t be used.I called homesdirect to be told to email them pictures. I did this and requested a refund and when they eventually replied they said they would offer me £35 and some paint and I should re-hinge the mirror myself. Only when I pointed out my consumer rights did they say they would arrange for the dressing table to be picked up and refunded but not the stool, if I wanted to refund that then I would have to send it back myself. Only when I pointed out my consumer rights yet again did they agree to pick up and refund both items. The goods were eventually picked up but still no refund or contact after a week. I had to contact homesdirect to ask for my refund, they eventually replied and said they had the goods and would arrange a refund. Terrible customer service, poor quality items and it appears they have no quality control. Avoid this company. If I could give zero stars I would.

AVOID AVOID AVOID - i WOULD GIVE 0 IF ALLOWED Ordered 3 pieces of bedroom furniture in August 2020 totalling £1200. They changed delivery from Sept to Nov without informing us, then when arrived there was only 1 of the items. When queried they told us we would not receive further items until both were there as "free delivery only applied to 1 delivery due to cost". This is not anywhere on the website. We were told despite them having 1 of the other pieces (November) they would not ship until the final item arrived into stock from abroad "sometime in Jan 2021". We were constantly dismissed and mislead via email and telephone. They agreed to give us a refund(eventually) on 08/12 but this was never forthcoming so we raised with PayPal and reported them to actionfraud.police in Jan 2021. PayPal investigated and refunded our money. WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH

Really great experience. Sent me an email to arrange a delivery date, and did all of that quickly. Delivered on time. Came in perfect condition, not a single scratch. Well built furniture and where it needed to be put together, very very simple. Most of it came pre made

Ordered a telephone box style drinks cabinet back in July 2020 which finally got delivered , damaged, in September 2020. The product was £399 & despite the damage, the quality was exceptionally poor, not even worth half the price. We were offered a replacement where we were told would be delivered in October. This rolled over into November, then December & then January. We finally got a delivery date of the 12th & made plans so that we could accommodate the delivery. During the day we had an e-mail to say that the truck had broken down & a new delivery date would be offered. We now have to wait until Jan 26th, another 2wks & I have very little confidence that this will happen. Very poor service, wish I had never bothered & even now, I feel I may just cancel. Will never use the company again & would never advise anyone to use them. Shocking, nearly 6 months.

They don't even deserve the 1 Star. Spend £600 on a telephone drinks cabinet which was in the sale down from £1000 !!!! This cabinet took 2 months to arrive on inspection it's was a joke, the list is endless really i must have taken 50 photos of damage/paint colour differences so poor. The wine bottle don't even fit in the spaces. China 🇨🇳 must have different sizes. Never again will I order from them and people if you want a good product that you have paid for don't order here.
