Absolutely terrible customer care for deliveries. Hotter completely seem to abdicate any responsibility for the delivery company who keep failing to deliver according to my instructions. Despite calling Hotter about the delivery instructions they keep failing to deliver the item. Totally at a loss as to what to do and will never ever but another product from them.

Been delighted with Hotter shoes for years, especially Jewel and Leanne. Went to shop today to buy some more. Nothing like former quality. So disappointed. Will treasure pairs I have and then look elsewhere.

Hotter shoes are now the only shoes I buy. I have never been disappointed by the quality or the service. They seem to last forever and are supremely comfortable. I have recommended them to friends and family with equally good results. Some of the negative reviews seem rather suspicious...this is totally genuine and unsolicited.

Ordered slippers as a Christmas gift for my mom. Received them on the 29/11/2019. My mom liked them but they were too big. Contacted Hotter on 2nd Jan 2020 who told me I could not exchange them as I’d purchased them before 1st December. I explained I would go into my local shop to exchange them to avoid postal charges but still they refused. It seems that they only class purchases made after the 1st December as Christmas gifts! Very annoyed as slippers were expensive.

Best place to buy hotter shoes to avoid disappointment - Ebay they arrive when they should and if they fall to bits after a short while you haven't paid much money for them. Sick of waiting for them to be shipped. I am buying from gabor in the future.dee

Ordered a pair of boots in December they couldn't be despatched until 6th January. There was a problem with the PayPal request . Hotter emailed my work email address. I did not pick up email until 8.1.20. So I called them straight away with my card to pay. I was informed that because of the delay over the new year period that my long awaited boots had been sold to someone else. The new despatch date would be 27.1.20 while I am away on holiday without my new boots that I wanted to take with me. I person on the phone couldn't give a toss about it. I think I might get footwear elsewhere even if I have to pay more.

I purchased a pair of Whisper boots over a year ago. I love them they are so comfortable. I decided to purchase another pair this Christmas for 93.40. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong width. I contacted them to correct my mistake but was told they had already been sent even though I had not received notice they had been sent. The boots were on sale when I went to exchange them and I asked if I could have the sale price. Hotter said no so I exchanged them for a pair of shoes that were on sale for 45.00. When I received my credit it was for $6.00. I contacted Hotter again to ask why I was only credited 6.00 when the shoes I was getting were significantly less than the original pair and was told the price was 77.40 when ordered the original pair. Why would I agree to buy something today for the price it use to be instead of todays price. This is no way to do business. Awful company!!!

Second pair of men's hotter shoes , most comfortable shoes I've worn , first pair are a year old and still look good got next pair in sale 40 pounds off ! Only one thing I had ,itake a 9 and half but with these a 10 ? Hay ho they fit! But I have wide feet

“Hassle Free” return policy. I returned these shoes weeks ago and they say they haven’t even received them yet. Meanwhile I am out 180 dollars And being charged interest. They say hassle free but keep in Mind they’re in England so it’s going to be a hassle

Why do Hotter foist suede & nubuck on us especially with the wet British climate & long rainy winters. Oh, of course, it is much cheaper & doesn’t last!! Quality at Hotter is really poor these days. But PAVERS, CLARKS, SKECHERS, GABOR, ECCO, REIKER, JOSEF SEIBEL are all superb-quality shoes with classic designs in smooth leather that don’t disintegrate & they are also much cheaper than Hotter too and they last well. Why does Hotter have such an ostrich mentality that ignores feedback?

I bought some slippers as a Xmas present, unfortunately myhermes lost them in the post, after waiting for them to turn up for 1 week, I asked Hotter to send me out another pair, a week passed and still no email despatch notice, I called again, the lady said she will send out a pair as a priority, a week passed, still no despatch email confirmation, called today to chase it up, unfortunately they are now out of stock. If you find yourself in this position I suggest cancelling the order and reordering again online, that way you take out the human error from office staff

I have been a customer of Hotter for years since their shoes and boots always had a cushioned foot bed and arch. I can not walk on hard surfaces due to problems with my feet. Do not know why they have changed and lowered their quality but they have lost me as a customer. After looking for a new pair of boots I ordered the Padstow boot because the foot bed or inner sole could be removed, figured they would have some cushioning. When the boots arrived I remove the inner sole to find the sole was not glued to the cushion good and was coming apart. Called customer service they had no replacement for it, then asked if they had a replacement sole that they sell. Response was no yet go onto their website to find they sell soles separately. I could send the boots back. Horrible customer service too on top of poor quality.

Purchased the Viviene heels in black on 5th November 2019. The shoes have caused the area of skin in the midline, just in line with the top of the shoe to bleed on both feet after wearing the shoes for 1 hour (of which 30-35 minutes was sat in a car driving). My feet and this area is absolute agony. I have never experienced this before from a pair of shoes. As the shoes are completely unwearable and cost £79 I have asked for a full refund. I have contacted Hotter customer services via email and was told I could only return the shoes if they were unworn. How can customers know if there is an issue or fault with the shoe before wearing them? This is a prohibitive refund policy that does not respect or consider the customer. I then phoned customer services who stated that I could return the shoes for inspection within 30 days of purchase if I felt they were faulty, BUT if the company deemed them to be OK, I would not get a refund. Please see the attached images - how can these shoes be OK? Bad customer service, bad returns policy. Will never use again

I have had some Wilson shoes for a couple of years, and frankly they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. However, I noticed last week that a large crack has appeared across the left sole. I went into my local cobbler and he told me they cannot be repaired as the sole has started to perish and will only fall apart. Which means these shoes are only good for the bin. I own around 12 pairs of Hotter shoes and hope that this is not a major problem with my others too. Very disappointed as this looks like a major manufacturing issue.

Immediately contacted customer services, to be frank they were not interested because I did not have the receipt, Sent back for 'inspection' where after a month I followed up my complaint. I was told I could have £20 credit or gift card! Even in a sale you can't purchase a replacement. I will never buy again fro them or recommend to others. I wait with baited breath to see if my other six pairs do the same, I wish I had made a sizable charity donation than give any monies to Hotter. Saddened and disappointing.
