I have been ordering from Deliveroo often, but now the customer service reached its lowest level. One of my orders (worth £40) has never been delivered and I can prove it at anytime because I live in a building with 24/7 CCTV. The building where I live is in a gated passage. We have cameras at both of the gates plus at the entrance of the building. Everything is filmed and I can show at any time that my order never arrived. The driver presumably said he has left the order with the concierge. But we don't have concierge (also no building around us has one) - things easy to prove as well. Even if there was a concierge (but there isn't) he would have to pass by the cameras so cameras would have recorded him. They didn't. I contacted Deliveroo a few times but they are not ready to refund me. Well, my next step will be reporting them to Trading Standards. I have screenshots of my chat with the driver (where I was clearly guiding him to my address) as well as CCTV recordings. It is so easy to prove that I never received my order yet I was not refunded!

Absolutely appalling - no photos as driver went passed our house and never delivered.

They delivered cold £12 pizza, they refunded £3. SHOKED I ordered a pizza from Pizza Express in Brighton in the Lanes worth £12. It was delivered as one of many deliveries from that driver and came completely cold. After speaking with customer service they told me I could only receive 25% of the value back. I'M SO SAD AND SO SHOCKED AND SAYING GOODBYE TO DELIVEROO PREMIUM and deliveroo as a service.

They just keep extending the delivery times because they have no drivers. Why would I want food that has been ready at the restaurant for over two hours? Avoid.

SCAM. Leaving Deliveroo today, never using them again. A 32GBP order was marked as delivered but never delivered in central London, Deliveroo won't refund as "restaurant said they delivered", restaurant is "Fresco Express" in Google (abysmal reviews) or "London Fresco" in Deliveroo (excellent reviews! OBVIOUSLY deliveroo tweaks/skews their ratings). Turns out this restaurant scams users like that the whole time (read Google reviews) and Deliveroo takes their side, and have the audacity to have an official policy "you have to contact the restaurant yourself to sort it out". What??? YOU are the platform i pay fees to and i am facing YOU , Deliveroo, not the restaurant to avoid such situations where you're supposed to step in! Definition of a robbery, disgusting policy and I hope both the restaurant and Deliveroo go bankrupt. Going to Uber Eats

A very unprofessional and rude driver I had this evening. I could not eat my food as I could think of all sorts he could have done to it. Clearly this has put me off from ordering with Deliveroo for a long time

Deliveroo has an option on its app to "cancel entire order if an item is missing/unavailable". I tick this option *every single time*. But they deliver anyway, with items missing. This means I then have to place another order, and make up another £10+ just to get the single item that is missing, from a different supplier. What Deliveroo is doing here is criminal. It is advertising a service that it is not delivering. In addition to this, there is an option to "Cancel order". I placed an order today and I tried to cancel it, because I no longer needed the order. I did this immediately. As soon as I had placed the order. But the app kept producing an error message. I spoke to Delivero customer service, a manager there named Jessam, but they repeatedly refused to cancel the order. This is stealing. If the option is there to cancel it, this option must mean something. It must mean that the order is cancellable. So cancel it. No excuses. Deliveroo is acting illegally, offering the cancel service and the "cancel order if items are missing" service but refusing to actually provide these services. It is not a one-off. It happens all the time. And it's very frustrating. They'll deliver you a bag of doritos without the dip, some cereal without the milk, a pizza with the wrong toppings... You use the service because you want a particular experience... some food... but they mess it up every other time. It's disgraceful, and no wonder the reviews on here are so bad.

Worst experience ever!!! Spent 4 hours trying to order food. The first order, the driver got lost or decided to do his own thing. The order got cancelled and they had to give us a refund after multiple calls. The second order, WORSE, only 1 meal arrived out of 5 (plus extras), we had guests over so we ended up not feeding them. Pathetic really. NEVER ordering again!! JUST EAT OR UBER EATS GUYS, DO NOT TRUST DELIVEROO. PATHETIC REPUTATION. PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE.

1st order didnt arrive because the rider had a breakdown someone called me from the rider support to let me know that it happened and asked my if I wanted the item again, I said yes and the order never arrived, instead of calling me back or text, deliveroo sent me an email, which I didn't see because I am not looking to my email 24/7 so as a result, 3 hour wasted of my time which I will never get back and didn't get the food at the end. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.

Absolutely horrendous! Food was on the road for 1 hour before delivery. Over £40 of food ruined. Customer service so bad and RUDE. I hope this company gets replaced by a better one soon! Terrible TERRIBLE service.

Simply horrendous. I provided an eircode - a precise geolocation and the driver 'could not find the apartment'. They did not make any effort to make contact (even though the order history claims that they did - i receive missed call notifications for every missed call, I had neither a phone call nor a missed call). They 'left the food outside' but despite this, I was outside within 3-4 min of my browser updating and saying i had missed the order and there was no food anywhere in sight. And for this terrible delivery service they charge 4e for delivery. Atrocious. Would never order from them again.

February 5, I arrived in the city of Eastbourne in the evening and stayed one night at Duke Apartments, I never used the Deliveroo app, but it was late in the evening and I installed this app to order food, I ordered food and paid for it, but no one brought it to me, I called +441323438899 and called my order number 7890 from Papa Johns pizzeria, asked where my order was, they answered me that they would call back but no one called back, at 23:20 in a foreign city I was left without food for which I paid money (32.54 pounds ), what kind of feedback do you think I should leave after the first experience of using Deliveroo

Order not delivered as deliveroo claimed that due to error on their site, driver was sent to different address. Interesting, as the app status change happened immediately from preparing to delivered

COOP advertising items they don't have in store/stock....so I cancel Deliveroo/coop order & the best part is your refund amount is not returned for 3 days Be careful Deliveroo customer service is dreadful

If only I read the reviews before I placed the order which never arrived.Contact number of the restaurant was not valid and Deliveroo rep and I were going in circles as to why I won't get money back.I had to screenshot their own refund policy and still he wasn't able to do anything about that. How is this business still on? I am just glad I didn't spend a fortune

Do not use this company. I would avoid. I ordered a meal, was delivered incomplete making the meal inedible. I was only offered a refund on the missing items and not a replacement even though it was inedible. Contacted deliveroo as advised by the online chat to complain. After asking on numerous occasions how to make a formal complaint, I just had a generic response saying thank you for your feedback there is nothing more we can do. They took my money refunded a small amount even tho I could not eat the whe meal.

Failed to deliver my order, even though the driver marked it as delivered. Ignored me on multiple occasions when I tried to contact them to find out what was going on. Ended chats on me saying someone would be with me soon. They never came back. Same with insta. Days on and I have had no update as to what happened, no order and no refund.
