Pathetic customer services, 10 recent visits either cold, stale or missing items. Always late. I’ve been waiting 2 hours for a burger! Teach me to go shopping and cook a damn bit of fish in the future!

Deliveroo used to be great, but greed ruined them. Most of the food is overpriced, plus they overcharge for delivery. Believe me, it's much better to use another delivery option or just go yourself to the place. As someone who used to buy food using Deliveroo for over a year, I strongly recommend you not to use Deliveroo again. At the beginning it was great, now it's pure abuse.

Ordered from hot wok, a hour later get a message to say food has been delivered “IT HAD NOT” spent £38 menu for three. Deliveroo so rude and unhelpful, said the rider knocked on the door “HE NEVER” Said that if they get no response they give the food to homeless, or leave in a safe place 🙄 So call hot wok who are just as bad and they say we can’t even come and collect the food (totally confused) So 3 of us still sitting here starving and £38 down. Apparently not entitled to a refund because the driver knocked “DIDNT KNOCK” the door. Absolute joke, won’t be using deliveroo ever again your the worst. And hot wok can do one aswell.

High level incompetence. How can the first driver be lost on the road and at the second command the dispatcher said: "he knocked at the door but nobody replied." Why do I fill in the data and the phone number ?! poor !!! in the end they was paid the same pizza and I came to eat at the restaurant because it was almost two hours since I ordered it. I want to say that I stay 4 minutes walking from the restaurant. Pathetic!

Ordered a meal with Hounslow Burger King. Delivery was apparently made to a random address with no apology. Have cancelled Deliveroo account, I recommend not using Deliveroo.

SCANDALOUS SERVICE! Ordered family meal from London/Catford branch using their Deliveroo service. Food has been delivered 1.5 hours after placing the original order online, many items were missing and the food was stone cold. They ripped us off for more than £30. VERY BAD service! Avoid the Deliveroo like the plague! Deliveroo order: #6899

I've been using deliveroo for a long time and I'm happy with them, good and fast service, and they also send occasional gifts. I had only an issue once with them and they sent me another meal plus a refund. I do recommend deliveroo.

Driver decided to chuck away my order after not being able to follow clear directions. Phoned customer services to find they offered nothing to resolve the issue and made out to be a huge favour refunding the order. Terrible and frustrating. Did somebody say just eat?

Waiting over an hour for my food and the time keeps going up and up! Went onto live chat and all they did was offer me 5 pound off my next order! They won’t let me cancel and get a refund even though it’s not my fault! Don’t think the foods ever going to arrive at this point!

I ordered pizza express worth £40. I was on my phone all afternoon after I had ordered. After the estimated delivery time I checked to see when it was coming. It said it had been delivered 6 minutes ago. Usually when I order because I live in a flat, the drivers press a buzzer and if they don’t they come to the door and knock. I didn’t hear anyone knock, buzz, or call my phone. I called customer service confused only to be blamed. “They called you five times” “they went to the concierge” well there is only an email attached to my account. No number, it’s impossible for them to call me. I checked my missed calls, nothing. The rude lady told me my £40 would not be refunded and proceeded to blame me for something I WASNT AWARE OF.

Deliveroo sucks at customer service. They keep repeating the same thing over and over and don’t really resolve anything. Yes, we got a refund. But we were not notified that the restaurant decided to cancel our order over an hour after it was placed. We were left with a hungry and tired child on a Sunday evening. Similar thing happened in the past - after eating for the order to arrive for over two hours and tried to cancel, but they refused. I will not be ordering via Deliveroo again. And apparently it doesn’t provide great working conditions for the driver either.

Paid £40 for a large family meal, deliveroo took it to a completely different address and handed it over. We now have nothing and no refund. How is this possible? I advise no one to ever use this totally inept company. I look forward to hearing the collapse of Craperoo

I am or rather was a loyal customer of Deliveroo as there is no other option due to their monopolisation of the market. It used to be much better when the restaurants could do deliveries themselves. Long story short - my last order with Deliveroo has never arrived. After waiting for a long time, I contacted them and they said that on the system it shows that it has been delivered (which it never was)!!!!! They apologised and refunded the amount paid that's all... As a result, I had a starving child whom at 8 pm, I had to take out for a meal on Saturday evening. Appalling customer service!!! Well done Deliveroo - you just lost your loyal customer!!!! I truly hope that something will be done and the restaurants will be able to provide the delivery services independently.

I just had some really bad food from sawadee thai. it's inedible and a total waste f money. Where is the option to review the restaurant?. And how do we look into getting a refund?

Deliveries always late, delivery ETA constantly changing without explanation. Last time waited 1hr 40 minutes over the original ETA, again with no apology or reason. The message saying "Driver completing another delivery" came up for over an hour. This specific time the driver was very friendly and pleasant though (which is rare), but still didn't apologize or explain the delay. Ends up being ridiculously expensive with the delivery charge and increased food prices. Delveroo has the best selection of restaurants though, which is the only good thing it seems, but doesn't really help if the food is always late and cold. Wouldn't recommend.

AVOID at all costs Awful service, avoid at all costs. We ordered a full teams lunches for 1pm, it was delayed at first by 10 mins, then 20-25 mins, after 30 mins of the food not arriving we had a call from the restaurant apologising and telling us there was no delivery driver available! The poor restaurant had to make the entire order again and someone went to pick it up. Deliveroo couldn't care less and shouldn't be aloud to continue in the same way, judging by the number of bad reviews we've now read!

UPDATE After contacting Deliveroo as they asked me to in their TrustPilot response, they did nothing more to improve the matter and didn’t look into it further like they said they would, as expected. ——————————————————— Order #2682 - Order was meant to take 30 minutes but they kept adding 5 minutes onto the ETA whenever it was getting close. - Received a phone call after over an hour saying that he couldn't get to me due to road closures even though my friends got their food from the same place. - Asked what vehicle he was using because surely a pedal bicycle wouldn't be affected by the marathon and it turns out he was using a motorbike - obviously just wanted to waste my time. - Apology involved a lady calling who didn't understand the difference between a push bike and a motorbike. They wanted to give me back my money in "credit" which is a ridiculous idea. Will have to wait 10 days to get my money back which took 5 seconds to send in the first place. - Should've stopped using Deliveroo ages ago - prices are higher than in the restaurant and they whack on a £3.15 delivery charge for delayed, cold food.

The delivery is quiet long and sometimes the food is cold ans smashed . Sometimes I had to wait 1.30 hours to get the food which is quiet dissapointing. The service is getting worst day by day.
