Don't buy LED lighbulbs from here. I bought an expensive one which was supposed to last for several years. It blew after 10 months and despite the product claiming to last for 20,000 hours Ikea would not offer a replacement bulb. REALLY ANNOYING

Ordered goods (£400 plus) impressed text msgs to say delivery scheduled for 08/09/2015 with then follow up confirmation of day still 08/09/2015 then confirmation of 1330 to 1730hrs slot on 08/09/2015. After which it all went pear shaped at 1830hrs called service number was told after hanging on for 30mins that items were with driver and would be with me, he would call. Allegedly they checked with driver kept me on hold 10 minutes. Nothing more heard it is now 22.00hrs wasted half a day and all evening and still non the wiser when goods are arriving. Total shambles of a company blasting me with Abba music whilst waiting in queue to get through miracle it wasn't SOS song :-)

Never order from IKEA on line. I love their products but my experience today of trying to get a sofa delivered means I won't be shopping there again. Several texts to say when the delivery slot would be (great thought I, impressed with the idea of Sunday delivery.) A call one hour before was promised so we hung around only to find a note through the door saying failed delivery, a 45 minute queue on the phone line to contact them to find out what had happened and a message on the tracker to say order is completed. The money has also been charged to my card.

I ordered a wardrobe it was delivered with missing hanging rails I had to call and they delivered it one week later and this time without screws so of course again had to call the service to reschedule screws!! You would think this would be part of a cabinet so you could connect the hanging rails!

Just bought a lovely grey superking size bedspread for £35! Have searched high and low for a sensibly- priced bedspread which actually fits my bed perfectly. It's reversible and washable. Perfect! Thanks IKEA .

ok i admit that my mapskills aren' t the best but seriously, IKEA is so big and so crowded, I wanted to go to the toilets and wait until my mum found me but of course, I couldn't even find the toilets. The place was so full that it seemed like every staff member was occupied. I wandered round in circles again and again until one staff member kindly helped me.

Waited in all day long! Held on the phone for 15 minutes listening to ABBA (thanks for that), then a for a further 30 minutes and was assured that although the time stipulated on delivery invoice said 10.00am til 4.00 pm, my goods would be delivered with an estimated delivery time of 5.30pm. it is now 18.43. I was told at the order desk and again on the phone that I would receive a call an hour before delivery. Perhaps it would be polite to call the customer and apologise and be honest if the delivery was not going to happen. I am furious. I choose to buy a £700 bed from Ikea on a bank holiday weekend and subsequently lost a day waiting home for delivery. Your service is appalling and you should be ashamed. Had you called me and said you couldn't deliver I could have at least enjoyed a much earned day off!!!!

Milton Keynes store. Was told delivery of approx £1000 of bedroom furniture would be next day between 10:00 and 16:00 with a call 1 hour before arrival, on a bank holiday weekend I was impressed. Cleared bedroom in preparation. No phone call by 12:00 so I called them to ask when it would arrive and after 30 mins on hold they finally answered and told me "before 16:00". I called them at 16:00 and was on hold for anothjer 45 minutes before giving up. My items have not arrived, IKEA have not been in touch at any point, no explanations or apologies. My wife is due to give birth next week so I now have to put everything back just in case. This is terrible customer service so I'll be going in tomorrow to cancel my order. AVOID.

Waited in all morning for a delivery it didn't come. Half hour on hold and then told lorry had crashed. I offered to pick our delivery up but was told this was not possible, but would not explain as to why. Terrible service by extremely rude staff that won't even refund delivery cost.

Reading several other reviews it would appear that mine is a common complaint. Three texts declared a delivery today 1-5pm; with driver to call an hour in advance. Took the time off work to await the delivery (computer desk) and, as of 7pm, nothing heard. Tried calling 30 minutes ago to hear automated voice "queues of 45 mins" followed by an annoying Abba tune seemingly on repeat. Gave up to go eat. Just tried calling again and "queues 60 mins" and the same damned Abba tune. Needless to say I shall not be doing any further business with them. In this day and age there are plenty of reliable retailers. Ikea charge a premium price for their delivery but, if my experience and the other similar reviews are anything to go by, they deliver a 3rd rate service. Poor. Very poor

From start to finish Ikea were brilliant. I was really worried after reading so many bad reviews, that i wouldnt get my order even delivered. I had an email at first confirming my order and to let them know if i had any parking restrictions ( i live on a ground floor flat but no problems). I then recieved 2 txts to say that my delivery would be made on 17th and then 2 days before the 17th i got a call to say that my order will be with me just after 7am. Well, 7:10 and my order is here. I havent yet opened my products but im hoping all will be okay. The guys were friendly and very efficient. From this experience i would definatly order from them again as long as my products are all okay. Thanks Ikea!

Visited Ikea Edmonton (London) came out of an 'entry' door by mistake, security told me lift was not working so that's why door was open, security promptly asked to look in my bag, I did this because I didn't have time to confront the Issue then and there, sent email to customer service, received reply, within time frame to be fair, just! Email stated random searches were normal procedure (whatever that means) to protect Ikea. Not shopping there ever again, problem solved for me.

Worst delivery experience of my life. I was told that my order would arrive by 2.30 today. It is now 7.19 and I haven't heard anything from my driver or IKEA I've called them twice, but they are either confused or don't know what they are doing. Such a waste of time!!!

I ordered a £700 wardrobe to be delivered on Sunday. IKEA sent me several texts and emails confirming that the delivery would be between 7-11am and I would receive a call one hour before it was due. The delivery slots comes and goes. No calls or delivery. I am put on hold for 15 minutes when trying to reach them only to be told that the items cannot be delivered today due to 'IT' problems and 'lack of drivers'. It was not possible to reschedule and no explanation of why I was not informed that the delivery would not happen was given. I have no idea of knowing when and if the delivery will happen. Outrageously poor service. Never again!

Although I had a great review for the girl in the shop, my wardrobes were delivered and on inspection one wardrobe was completely broken, I had the wrong doors and the handles were missing! URGH! Perhaps I spoke to soon! They are planning on delivering the right doors and new wardrobe on Sunday. Not sure about the handles! Come on IKEA! Get your act together! PLEASE!

We went to IKEA a couple of weeks ago and choose some wardrobes, we were served by a young lady called Rachael and we were very impressed with how helpful she was. We decided to go back and double check our measurements and to day went back to order the wardrobes. I asked to see Rachael and once again this young lady couldn't have been more curtious and helpful if she tried. 5 stars for Rachael in the wardrobe section of the Southampton IKEA. ???? thank you...

Had to call customer service regarding a voucher. The young man I spoke to couldn't have been more helpful, we went out of his way to solve my problem. One of the most positive experiences I've ever had dealing with a company's customer service department.

NEVER USE IKEA FOR LARGE ITEMS THAT NEED DELIVERY!!!! I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing over £600 on a wardrobe I would have paid extra and gone to an alternative store whose delivery service I have more faith in! We ordered the wardrobe on 11th July its now 26th July 2015 and we still do not have the delivery. We have spent 4 seperate days at home waiting for the delivery only for it to never arrive. I am advising everyone I know to never use IKEA for these types of purchases. Its fine for things you can buy and take away in store but for larger item. I would never use them again. Their customer service team are polite but considering they have not rectified this current situation and seem permanently unable to contact the delivery service I do not feel they are a very useful team. Everyday we have spent at home has involved attempted calls to IKEA throughout the day during which you are on hold often for 15mins before being able to speak to anyone. This is extremely frustrating and causes unneccesary stress. On some occasions we have called 4 or more times in a day without an outcome. I will never use again!

I called IKEA to request reissue of my lost credit voucher. Even after confirming that I have credit balance on my account, the customer advisor said that she is unable to reissue me a new credit voucher. I said that I have lost the original voucher and please help me to get my credit back. In response she told me that I was irresponsible to loose my card and she cant do anything about it. When I request to speak to a manager she said the manager will call me back and hung the phone without even taking my contact details.
