I have been a JC Penney Card holder since 1977. Today, I canceled due to your excessive charge of $1.99 to send a bill. It is time to part ways. Cancelled card and I am canceling you. Good luck -you are putting yourself out of business. Bye bye.

Have not been able to order online for about 6 months... I find going to the store is to much sometimes... Call the 1800# and they said it would be fixed... Still Waiting πŸ˜•

Everything went wrong!! I took my friend to the hair salon! BIG Mistake. The stylist was shown a VERY CLEAR picture of the lady herself, with a Marilyn Monroe hair style with large, loose curls after she finished her hair it was a loose, stringy mess!! Trust this review very seriously. I got ripped off for 153.00 am not sure once the hair is washed, that it will not all fall out!!!! I am hoping to SUE jC Penney for allowing this terrible salon to exist within their walls. I wish I could have given a "0" stars. I added a photo. please look below !!?

I showed the hair dresser a picture of the permed hair style that I wanted (Marilyn Monroe) loose blond curls. She first said, $125.00 when finished with this absolutely shabby, stringy, messy hair style, the cost went up to $153.00. This pic is 30 minutes after leaving the shop!! Please, don't waste your time and certainly your money at this place. Horrible, and tried to tell me to "mousse" it !! I am trying to figure out how to use and get my money back !!!!!

IT IS NO WONDER THAT JC PENNEY IS GOING OUT OF BUSINESS. I ordered a dresser from JC Penney on 06/26, 2024. Today is July 9. Delivery personnel were supposed to call ahead, instead, they showed up, but within the window. They moved the boxed delivery into my home and wanted me to sign off on the delivery without opening the box. After realizing that wasn't going to happen, the delivery personnel opened the box to find a gaping hole, about 3" in diameter all the way through the top of the dresser. However, the box wasn't damaged at all on the outside of the box. They tried to pull the wool over my eyes. Then I calledspoke JC Penney and spoke k with "Enzo" who can't ship me a new dresser. He can only refund my purchase which he says will take "up to 2 weeks" THIS IS JC PENNEY'S LACK OF ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE. CROOKS! NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH JC PENNEY

I have been in retail for over 25 years. Your south county jcpenney is a joke i work there from 22 to 24. Kris the store manager doesn't know what she is doing worst store manager. All the manager are really really bad. We the new seasonal people get blamed for absent from working on the floor are working with a customer. Katie shoe department doesn't know what she is doing can't even work with customers. She doesn't smile

This is the 2nd time in a couple of months I ordered on line, and received the WRONG item. Now, once again, I am expected to travel to the store to return the item I didn't order!!! I ordered on line, because the store nearest to me closed, so in the heat of the day, (because you don't open until 11), I get to travel to get my money back for something I didn't order. Oh, I DO have the option to PAY, to return, by mail, the WRONG ITEM!!! And, I still don't have the item I want. THIS IS THE LAST TIME!!!! NO MORE!!! I am totally furious, and to add insult to injury, I tried to call your help line, only to wait on hold for an extended length of time.

Today I shopped for Haggar pants at the J.C. Penney in Wellington, Fl., after reading the sign that said β€œ$29.99 Haggar iron-free classic pants regular $70.” I found three pairs on the hanger in front of the sign. When I took them to the register they were still $70. That is known as bait and switch. The pants on the shelf, of which there are few are on sale. That is the bait. All other classic pants are full price. That is the switch. The store would not honor the price because the classic Haggar pants I took to the register, the cashier claimed, came from the rod. I will never shop in this store again. I suggest when you shop at the Wellington Mall store you pay close attention to how they cheat the customers because it is how you will be cheated. Under the law, they should honor their sale sign. This store would rather cheat you than follow the law.

I ordered some clothing from JC Penney on June 20. Then, on June 24 I received an email that said that some of the items on that order had been shipped. When I look at the tracking number for those items, it STILL says it is awaiting carrier pick up. I don't think that package has been waiting in their shipping department for 12 days waiting to be picked up!!! I called and spoke to a customer service person and told her that Pennies had deducted the money from my checking account, and that I have not yet received the items, and could I please have a refund. She told me that I had to wait until July 8, and then I could have my refund. So, they have had my money for almost two weeks, and I have nothing as of yet.

I've been ordering on line for 6 yrs at my current address. I ordered two dresses that arrived w/o issues for an event, then I ordered the shoes to go with the dress. The shoes were delivered to an old address. JC Penny's tells me I cannot get a refund for misdelievered merchandise and I would need to go to the old address to retrieve my shoes bcuz it's not their problem. I am out of my money and the shoes. Will never order or buy from JCP again.

I buy my facial products from the Novi location. Antonette the beauty consultant is always so helpful and will go above and beyond. She is amazing with answering all my questions and concerns. She gives the best advice on skin care. She is truly amazing!

Ordered from JCPennney 2 weeks ago. Received 3 of the items & remainder were supposed to be here tomorrow. Arrival date changed to Friday instead of Wednesday. Just checked tracking & now they won’t be here until Saturday. They keep moving the date out with no option for canceling the order. I WILL NEVER SHOP OR ORDER FROM JCPENNEY AGAIN!!!

If there was a way to rate you less than a 1, I would. I placed an order of 9 items. Only one arrived; however, my bill arrived charging me for all the items I did not receive. Customer support and catalog were of no help and kept threatening me that I was being recorded. Too funny as I used no profane language, etc. All I wanted to do was cancel the order and end my shopping with JCP. They insisted I wait a ridiculous amount of time and then we could review it at that time. My husband worked at JCP for 44 years and me for 19 years., both with the highest rating at review time. I don't know who is training your associates at this time, but customer service is no longer a priority. This is definitely my last dealing with the company. I guess that losing customers no longer matters. The stock when I worked there was $80 a share. Today you are at $0.1819. Telling?

Yesterday, when I went to return an item that didn't fit, one of the employees made me very uncomfortable by saying she would close the doors to keep me out because I always come to return things. I told her, "How can you say that? I haven't been here this week, last week, or the week before!" It was so embarrassing and upsetting that I still feel bad about it. The employee was a large woman of African descent. The incident occurred on June 28, 2024, around 5 pm. She was working on the second floor with a young Hispanic man who handled my return of a pair of slacks.

Received my bill and was charged $1.99 for the privilege of paying my bill. Yes I could pay online but choose not to. I have been a customer since 1974, sorry to see this end if you charge this again.

Online ordering is completely unreliable. If you are able to place an order to ship to tye local store, your order may state "in transit" but then is not delivered to the store. This happened to me in the past for a pair of shoes I needed for a wedding. After 10 days and no delivery, I called the CS number and was told my order was cancelled by the warehouse! However the order still showed as " in transit to store". I recently placed an online order which was supposed to be delivered 2 days ago, still " in transit to store" . I have a feeling I will not get this order either.. Unfortunately these items are not in stock at the store but only on line. No wonder Penney's is in trouble!

Since November 2023 having a problem and still getting billed I n late charges. Spoke to Synchro my for jC Penny & said all charges were cancelleded & not to worry I am still getting billed from you. I returned a purchase & was double charged & getting bills for late charges. This is annoying & never had a situation like this with any other store. I am getting discussed with this situation. Someone speak to the bank & see that I have no outstanding chargers. I also cancelled by JC Penny credit card because of this situation. Will never shop in your store

MY ITEM WAS PROMMISED FOR FRIDAY THE 15TH AND WAS OUT FOR DELIVERY THAT DATE, AT THE END OF THE DAY IT WAS NOT DELIVERED. TODAY IS MONDAY THE 17TH AND NOW IT SAYS THAT ITS ON ITS WAY. HOW CAN IT BE OUT FOR DELIVERY TWO DAYS AGO AND NOW IT SAY ITS ON ITS WAY. SOMETHING ITS NOT RIGHT. UPS OR JC PENNY ARE NOT DOING THERE JOB RIGHT.
