“I was at JCPenney and it was going pretty well until check out. The employees name was Christine and she was checking me out. I had a tie that didn't have a tag on it. So she was forcefully slamming things about then did a huffy breath and looked up numbers for the tie. When she finished Scanning everything I asked if there was a security tag on the jacket I bought and in a rude snotty voice she said " I already got it" then I was making a separate transaction for my makeup and it had a pink sticker. She told me it was buy one get one free.I told her I didn't think that was true but she insisted that I go back because it was. I went back to the makeup and asked the lady working there if that was true.she said no. I went back to the check out and told her it was not a part of the buy one get one deal. The manager was standing behind her and said it was not. Then She rolled her eyes and made a face saying "well then it shouldn't have a pink sticker on then huh". I felt like this employee was acting like it was bother some to be working.”
“JC Penney customer service at the store is horrible, on top of that, customer service by phone is worse. They're a liars, I'm going to close my card just because the horrible service they provide.”
“I ordered a bedspread on JCPenny.com. Estimated delivery : 4/2. On 4/7, I tried to cancel my order because it was taking so long, I will buy elsewhere. JCP online can't help with that and my local store in Harrisburg, PA will not cancel my order. Keep in mind, this item is already showing on my bill.
I guess I will wait until the store finally sends it, then run over to pick it up and return it while I'm there.

“Ordered jeans i had to pay double what they were in the store and was told they would arrive 4 days later at the store. Called the 800 number to find out exactly when they would be arriving only to have the agents ask me to press 5 on the survey after getting lip service. They do not offer tracking . I get better customer service from China .”

“I used to buy a lot of things from JCP, but since they closed the store, I’ve only ordered once, mostly because of the shipping costs for both sending and returning, not to mention the 15% restocking charge! After ordering a pair of sandals that were $24.95, it cost me over $36 to order them. They didn’t work for what I needed them for so I returned them, and after paying return shipping and the restocking charge, it cost me about $18 for a pair of sandals I don’t have. I will never again order anything from JCP.”
“We went to Portraits at Willowbrook & waited more than 2 hours. We had made an appointment & were there on time. There were no apologies & the photographer blamed on us that we should have confirmed the appointment. We never received a call from them. Hell with this place. Never want to see this place ever again.”

“Online orders! Lost, stolen or delivered to the wrong address. You must go and file a police report for each item that is missing before a refund will be given!!! Why do I have to take time to go file a report when you delivered it to the wrong address!!! I refuse to go so no refund??? Isn't that theft by taking!!!!”
“Packages never arrived . They never tried contacting ups to return it to.them . Its just sitting around a . Month later they were the most unhelpful lost $238.00.
They are also over priced tried looking to repurchase Amazon had it 75% cheaper. Nonody helps they wont let you speak to management the worst company ever. Never shopping this place again. I ordered a Easter dress for my granddaughter so we could have family pictures made this weekend, (this will be her first Easter), when we ordered it the order confirmation said it would be at the store on 3/11/24 but it did not arrive at the store. I called and was told it is showing it will be at the store by 3/15/24 which will not work for us because we are going to their house early on 3/15/24 so therefore we will not be able to pick it up and have it for the pictures. We had to order another dress from another business which will be at our house on 3/13/24, it only took this business 2 days instead of the 5 to 7 days that JC Penny is saying.”
“I purchased a rug online that was delivered to someone else because the tracking told me it’s delivered but it was not to my house while I was home! When I called customer service they said no problem will credit your account let’s order you another one! I said OK the second one came to my house but I did not like it so it was returned to the store. And they still made me pay for the first one because ups said it was delivered I had to pay for it! I will never place an order for delivery again!”
