“Use another app. Food expected to arrive 2 hours after order and couldn't get through the support team after a useless chat bot. No apology, no compensation no service! Whole experience has been pants!”

“I ordered food from Pizza Roma in Ruskington, Lincolnshire, via the Just Eat app. The food was ordered at 6:30pm and was to be delivered an hour later. After numerous phone calls the order still had not arrived and by 9:45pm, and the Restaturant stating the food was still not in the oven, I was forced to cancel the order. However, I had already been charged and despite both Pizza Roma and Just Eat promising a refund, two weeks later, I am still not refunded. I have reported both Pizza Roma and Just Eat to Trading Standards. What a scam. NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER use Just Eat. They'll rip you off.”

“*Copied from my review on Trust Pilot* Awful company to deal with. A takeaway we've dealt with fine for over a decade took 2.5 hours to deliver, cold when arrived, through just eat. But that's not the issue. The robotic, scripted dialogue that's used in the Just Eats 'Chat' to fob off angry customers is far more insulting than the meal itself. To try and explain a situation and receive the same pasted messages over and over from somebody/thing that doesn't understand is infuriating. They refuse to refund the full amount, only that from the restaurant, not their admin fee. So ultimately you get fobbed off, and they don't lose a penny. They're desperate to end the chat, and lied twice with claims that somebody from management will be calling us in 24 hours, just to get us to agree to end the conversation. I'll be back on tomorrow night though for sure.. It's a scam in my opinion”

“We have been waiting 3:55 mins - if the restaurant / just eat could not facilitate then they should not accept updates and give false updates. Apparently the driver has been waiting there now for 2 hours, all I can say is he must be quite a stocky lad and had a few pints to wash it down with... c u n t”

“WOULDNT BOTHER ! AWFUL COMPANY IT IS JUST A SCAM! after placing a order at 7pm, it had still not arrived by 9pm. So we rang the restaurant to cancel the order as we didn’t want it anymore and we wanted a refund . It then turned up 9.05 with the driver apologising ( delivery driver was lovely and don’t have a bad word to say about him) but we turned it away as it had been sat in his car for a hour. We rang the restaurant a second time to find out what was going on with the refund to be told they can’t do it and to contact just eat, which we did... and what a load of Sh*t!!! After speaking with a advisor he left me on hold for 30 minutes, made no notes on the account and didn’t ring the restaurant like he said he was going to... which is why he put me on hold in the first place. My husband rang of his phone as no one was coming back to the phone after 31 minutes for the same person to answer, give us a load of BS. After a further 20 minutes of them trying to put us on hold and faf about we were told a refund would be back in my account in 39 mins and email sent ... email now states it takes 5-7 days for a refund . Wouldn’t recommend was just a catastrophe from start to finish. If you do order pay cash!!”

“Delivery guy was sick! He had cold symptoms. Before he delivered our food he blown his nose into a napkin and then went to handle our food. Spoke to restaurant (Yellow River, NW9 7AA) and they just said if I want to be safe I should not order food. We refused food based on con-termination. Just Eat we’re unable to give me full refund and believed the restaurant rather than me- customer. This is the last order. Shame on restaurant and Just Eat for putting profit above people health at a time of national health emergency! Shame on you!”

“Look with the current situation with the corona virus you should only be taking online paid orders via card some takeaways are still accepting cash on delivery this is wrong because the delivery driver has to accept money from the customer and this is direct contact and dangerous putting both driver and customer of risk of spreading corona if the order is prepaid delivery drivers can phone then leave order at the door step no contact is required if you can’t implement this rule I am going to take my complaint to the government website and trading standards and the health and safety authorities I don’t think just eat is a well managed company it’s just run by a call centre if it was a genuine company it would take others health and safety under account”

“WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I VE EVER HAD.THE MOST RUDE DELIVERY DRIVER. UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM YOU AGAIN AND I ADVICE EVERYONE TO DO THE SAME. NEVER ORDER FROM Just Eat AGAIN.”

“Terrible service from just eat never speak to the chat line about a problem, it’s like taking to a machine ?asking the same questions all the time and never resolving the problem for over 2 hours and had to give up from a 3rd rate company .As expected the review is about the restaurant service and not just eat service which was abysmal.If I could give a true rating it would be -10.”

“If I could rate lower, I would. I've used this app 3 times and had 3 late and cold deliveries. Contact customer service? Don't bother, they're really not interested. Why would they be? After all they and the restaurant have already got your money.”

“If I could give a minus score I would. First time I us used Just Eat app, huge mistake. Ordered my food through their app. Food was picked up and delivered to the wrong building. Just Eat Customer Service was not helpful at all and refused to give a refund and told me to speak with restaurant. Restaurant said they use Just Eat drivers and only Just Eat can refund. Lost £18, never got a refund and had to order elsewhere.”

“Do not order from them! I put my order down at 7:22, got it 8:50, which is 1 and half hour later! Food arrived cold, no apology from KFC, driver said he was waiting in KFC for 30m for the chicken to be cooked which I don't believe a word of it! Come on we've all been to KFC, it takes them 5m to cook the food! I ordered from Just eat, their customer service were the worst kind you can think of, I've given them my email address, my home address and my phone number! I was in the middle of a conversation with just eat and the agent just left the chat! For god sake, another agent comes in asking me the same thing, so I gave them my details again and repeated myself again ! And still they didn't offer me any solutions at all no compensation at all, then guess what ? The agent left again and asking me to speak to another agent. Seriously, wasted half an hour of my time just to talk to them. I have screenshot all of my conversation with them! I'm totally ok to post it out! I have also recorded the driver answer regards why he is late. This is the worst experience ever , even worse when you are hungry!”

“I don't know what's happened to this company but they have gone down hill! My order went to the wrong address and when calling just eat to try resolve the matter and get my refund, it was like talking to robots! Constantly repeating myself and being told to hold the line, and told theres nothing they could do as the order shows delivered! Except it wasn't delivered to me! Only when I lost it that they made enquiries and discovered it was delivered to the wrong address, took almost an hour to deal with them...absolute joke!!”

“Terrible awful service. The driver delivered my food to the wrong address then when I called them they told me they would send another delivery out only it never arrived. Called the restaurant the next day only for them to say I needed to contact Just Eat for a refund. When I contacted Just Eat I was very annoyed at the way I had been treated & told them their service was diabolical only to have them hang-up on me. Four days later I received my refund. Never never will I use this terrible company again.”
