“I bought from Karen Millen including a forever dress I had been eyeing off for a few years. I saw there was a sale and thought to myself “this is the perfect chance to buy it!”. It turns out the reason it was so cheap, because the quality was abysmal. The leather belt was already bent when opening and refused to be bent back to shape. Do not buy from This brand if you expect pre 2019 quality.”

“Since Boohoo has taken over Karen Milen the quality of the clothes has changed. I use to shop at KM 10yrs ago and the knitwear quality was a a high standard and now their quality is similar to HM. In fact HM is better and reasonable.”

“Items I ordered from Karen Millen were lovely and just as seen on the website, however I paid for next day delivery via DPD and my item was not delivered. I made a complaint via the KM website and had a very quick response to say that DPD had tried to deliver but couldn’t reach my address, either due to road closures or no parking! Wholly untrue, I was in the whole day and no delivery was attempted. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac, have a parking bay with room for 5 cars opposite my house and had no road closures in my area. Have asked for my delivery cost to be refunded, but no joy from KM. A real shame as DPD are letting KM down on delivery, so please don’t waste your money on next day delivery if you buy from them.”

“Awful awful awful material and zips. The material shrinks when you first wash it on expensive shirts, the zips break after wearing a couple of times. What’s going on, the quality is get worse than ever. So sad as I use to buy everything from Karen millen. Going to give up as fed up with returning all the time”

“Returned faulty item 3rd sep. it wAs signed for at your end to say return received and despite chasing 6 times still no refund.CS has been appalling asking me repeat questions that have been answered at least 3 times!! Now no response at all from my last em nail in over a week - diabolical”

“I would give no stars if I could-absolutely fraudulant company. I placed 2 orders and only one was sent, after first being told by 4 agents that they had been sent together, then that they hadn't. They owe me a $900 refund which they said they paid, but definately haven't. You get a different person with each e-mail giving standard scripted responses and fobbing you off. On the order which I did receive the sewing was appalling and a belt buckle was sewn on backwards- after sending photos they promised to look into it but didn't get back to me. My next 2 e-mails were ignored. I have sent over 10 e-mails about not receiving the refund and each time am just given a payment reference number and told to contact my bank. The bank have checked 3 times and there is no payment pending- they are now going to start proceedings to recover the funds. My son died a few months ago and this was a cheer myself up purchase that has turned into a nightmare and made my life even worse. I am going to be reporting them to the authorities as this kind of business practice should not be tolerated. I will also post this review EVERYWHERE I can to warn unsuspecting shoppers. STAY AWAY from them and boohoo.com (the parent company)..”

“Worst customer experience ever!!!!! There was a mistake made on my delivery address. I notified the team within minutes. Even when the order was in process, they denied to help. They kept going on in circles telling me nothing can be done. One of the colleague told me they will supply the correct address to courier but then they completely flipped out. It was most stressful experience talking to bunch of people who just refused to help. Moreover there is no number to call them, they just take the payment and provide no help whatsoever. WORST experience of my life!!!!”

“I have been a loyal customer to Karen Millen for the past 20 years and I have never ever been disappointed by any purchase made. I used to live in UK so I had the luxury to return things but even now I order the things overseas and they fit exactly how I expect them to. When I place a next day delivery to someones address in UK my things always arrive the next day. I find all the negative comments really weird....”

“The photos online are very misleading and misrepresenting. I ordered items from the online store multiple times, and they always look very much different in person( length, fit, etc). Customer service either emails back generic answers or doesn’t respond at all. Would not recommend this brand.”

“I have been a loyal customer for some time and my recent order has not arrived. Now waiting 3 weeks and paid $14.99 to receive by latest 10 business days! No phone number other than email and the response was pathetic! “I cannot refund you the postage”!!! I will be disputing with PayPal’s support. Karen Millen, your service is not putting the customer at the centre of your work!”

“Worst online retailer I have dealt with when it comes to returns. Sent back an item (which I needed express shipping on but didn’t even arrive within that timeframe) over 3 weeks ago using their drop2shop facility and no sign of my refund. I have contacted customer support and twice in the last week I’ve been asked to provide proof of my return, which I have done now sending pictures of the returns label, the tracking number and the email confirmation of the return on both occasions and yet no where closer to getting my refund. Issue appears to be with the returns facilitator but this shouldn’t be impacting on the consumer. Won’t shop online here again.”

“I’ve been a loyal client since 2009 and 90% of my wardrobe - work, party, casual, dressy was all KM. My last purchases were disappointing and customer service, though responsive, clearly have been given orders to not budge an inch, even at the expense of a positive client experience - quality of fabric and workmanship has gotten poor, perfect tailored fit and cut of yesteryear gone, and sizing is consistently off. Dresses I own from before that I wanted in different colors and bought recently are just not the same. I gave it a chance when all closed down but no more. This was such an admired and phenomenal brand. Listen up #karenmillen management : this is not how you generate growth and client loyalty. What a shame.”

“I ordered a blouse and pair of size 16 trousers, the blouse was awful quality and felt like some sort of plastic fibres and the trousers were more like a size 12 to 14. Definitely not worth the money in my opinion.”

“Terrible. Don't waste your money or time. I bought 4 items from Karen millen, had one cancelled and refunded. Today I received my package it was the one item that was cancelled and nothing else! I was then made to check my package again to see if it was in the bottom, even though the weight on the package clearly wasn't enough for more than one item! I was told before they even found out what had happened they wouldn't offer any refund or replacement because their systems said it was sent. THE SAME SYSTEMS THAT SAID THEY DIDNT HAVE THE DRESS THAT WAS DELIVERED. I was made to feel like they were doing me a favour by offering a replacement-this one time only... BUT BEFORE THAT HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO PAY FOR THE DRESS THAT YOU RECEIVED!!!!! Absolutely shocking.”
