The walking sandals are great, but beware hidden charges and lengthy delays if using Karimor's third export partners Barlin to Grenada (West Indies). Sandals despatched on the 31st July had to be collected by ourselves from DHL Express office on 20th August where we were told that an additional cost was required by DHL Express who we had not entered into any agreement with. The online tracking was interesting though as it showed the sandals had gone to Barbados, Venezuala, Panama, back to Venezuala, Trinidad, British Guyana, Venezuala, Trinidad again before arriving in Grenada (West Indies). The website should surely warn you that as well as paying x pounds for the shoes, and y pounds for delivery, that you are likely to be charged z pounds for customs clearance, and that it won't actually be delivered and that you then have to pay zz pounds because Barlin Deliveries haven't actually delivered.

I received a pair of KSB Pioneer boots pm on 07/08/15. The material on both sides of each tongue is badly creased and badly fitted and will not tuck away neatly when the boots are tightened up. This means that the boots when worn for a while they will irritate the top of the foot and lower ankle. I have owed several pairs of KSBs (the first in the Royal Marines) and other makes of walking boots and know how they should fit correctly. The front of them also look slightly different as they are from a different pair. I have paid £2.80 through Royal Mail to return them (sent am 08/08/15), which I do not agree with, as the boots are faulty. I have now paid £6.50: Next Day Delivery and £2.80: Return Postage - Total £9.30, making delivery of the boots expensive. The boots are to be used for several charity walks, culminating with an 180mile walk next summer. They were to be used 09/08/15, hence why I paid for next day delivey; this is obviously now not possible, causing me inconvenience. I gave great thought about which boots to select and spoke to serving Royal Marines - who are using them at present, hence ordering KSB Pioneers. I hope the boots sent out as replacement are fully quality checked and the tongue and everything else are 100% correct; I really don't want any other problems. I emailed Karrimor Customer Services, with no response; I also emailed Sports Direct Customer Services with no response, I had to phone Sports Direct Customer Services after driving to a local store, who gave me the number. Sports Direct CS reassured me the boots will be thoroughly inspected before dispatch - I hope this is the case.

The wording of your email notifications are too ambiguous. I was told on Tuesday that my order was "processed", when really this meant it was ready to be collected.

The item ordered has not yet arrived. Yodel states that it has tried to deliver twice and left a postcard. No card arrived in our letterbox, and no shoes have been delivered. also, someone has been here on both days, and would have seen any van arrive!!

Very excited to get my Karrimor walking shoes... and as I have a pair of Karrimor hikers I was confident they would fit....but alas no....not only do they not match to look at...one shoe is smaller than the other....ah I hear you cry...it could be your feet ...well yes like most people I have one foot slightly bigger than the other but my 'bigger' foot fits fine, it's my 'smaller' foot that is ...too small....go figure! Just about to send them back....for which I will have the pleasure of paying...not sure if it is worth re ordering as if you look at these shoes you can see they are different and I'm worried the same will happen again and then more postage to pay.

The Transit 40 is a very good product, as I'd expect from Karrimor and would merit at least a good rating. However when buying online from Switzerland (a country outside the EEC), sportsdirect.com is either not able or not willing to deduct the UK VAT from the website price, which must include UK VAT, although they tell you something else. Paying UK VAT plus Swiss VAT makes the Karrimor products prohibitively expensive. This marketing and sales behaviour is the reason for the poor overall rating. Advice: Do not buy from sportsdirect.com and do not buy Karrimor products, if you live outside the EEC.

I bought a pair of trainers for £25 and £5 on top of that for postage. When they arrived the trainers were faulty and had a bulge at the back on the shoe which digs into my foot so I decided to get a replacement pair. When going through the process of returning a fault item using the website I was informed I needed to pay for the return postage and I assume I will also be paying for the replacement pair to be posted too. So Ill end up paying almost the same price of the trainers in postage despite the fact that the product is faulty. They don't have a phone number to call. They have an email address, just a report form on their website. Not feeling like great customer service at the moment unfortunately. Also I hadn't previously had to deal with sports direct customer service before but when a problem such as trying to return an item arises you see the true face of sports direct and just how shoddy a company they are,

I ordered a pair of running shoes which I already have, and know to be good. However, the pair that arrived was faulty, with soles detaching at the front; as if the shoes had been stored at +50 C heat and the glue had melted. To return/exchange, I had to pay the postage, even though the fault was not mine. I hope the new pair will be up to scratch!!

Quick delivery, which would have scored 'very good', but unfortunately one of the items had the wrong size trainers in the box. They were size 5 in a size 6 box. I ordered size 6. Therefore, the rating is poor I'm afraid. I expect the return postage to be reimbursed.

Ordered new pair of shoes to replace well loved old pair. Same style and size. On arrival they are way too small. I am now out of pocket £10 on shipping cost because you can't keep sizing consistent. Last time I waste money shopping with you. Took my custom to mountain warehouse instead.

Bought two pairs of running shorts. According to the size guide, medium should be for 32- 33" waist. They are incredibly tight, and if measured, can only stretch to 33" at their absulute maximum. Return process is too cumbersome and at my expense so will have to put up with it. The Best web sites in clothing will send a freepost label to return or offer a full refund. Won't buy direct from Karrimor again.

The boots arrived in record time - but unfortunately the size of the boots was not that which was marked on the box, so they have been returned for an exchange. I hope in this instance the postage costs will be refunded...

Ordered some boots and they arrived with the security tag on. I now have to go to a store to get it removed. Pointless ordering online and a huge inconvenience! To top it off there is no phone number to contact.
