“I purchased a Flex 3 touch screen chromebook on 8/9/23 and by June, the cover has fallen apart at the hinges. I can't even open it without it completely falling apart. Lenovo said the hardware is not under warranty. I am out of luck with my back and forth emails and phone calls. Don't buy this chromebook. Model 82T30012US”
“I purchased my IdeaCentre AIO 3 All in One Desktop in December 2023. On July 19, 2024, the computer would not connect with WIFI. I called Costo where I purchased it. Troubleshooted for about 1/2 a day, including a factory reset. Nothing worked. Started all over again with Lenovo.
More down time. Lenovo Customer service sent a box for me to pack up the computer and send it in for repair. That took 3 days to arrive. On July 29, 2024, I sent it through Fed Ex Ground to Houston for repair, where it remains today.
Estimated completion date -- August 22, 2024. Then return through Fed Ex Ground, which will take another 3 or 4 days. Total down time: over one month for a computer that is about 7 months old.
I never had this problem with Dell or HP. Won't buy Lenovo again.”
“My short review would be: 5 stars of mediocrity for Lenovo.
I bought a laptop from Lenovo that has more problems than anything that I ever had. In less than a year (bought in November 2023) it has failed 5 times. (It stops powering an unable to start)
They collected for repair all the time, and it would apparently come back functional, but would not last more than a month, or sometimes even a week or two. It has come to a point where I feel that I am working for Lenovo as a test engineer and providing/ unpacking services, all for free. I have been wasting my time and never managed to do what I had planned to do with the PC.
I asked for a refund many times, and they refused to do it, insisting successive sections “repair”.
In their last attempt to repair it, they were claiming that the PC was out of warranty, but they were going to try to repair it again as if they were doing me a favour. Meanwhile, the PC was supposed to have a year warranty, but it basically never worked, and it hasn’t passed a year yet.
I am not going to extend the review much longer, but I would never, ever, recommend Lenovo to anyone.”
“I thought this was an awesome laptop until it just stopped working, no warning. Never dropped, never mistreated, always used with caution, not even 3 years old and I was told it is not fixable. I will NEVER purchase Lenovo again.”
“Computer connects to our network but has trouble browsing internet. I have to refresh several times before getting to a website. I'm 2 weeks outside of the return window and they won't do anything. Life gets hectic sometimes and it's not always feasible to get to things in the window. No flexibility on returns even with the issue. Now we're out over $900. Won't be buying from them again.”
“My 15 month old Ideapad 7i Pro developed a few problems - camera stopped working, brightness toggle keys on the key board would notfunction, chrome got shut off automatically many times midway while using, touch screen not working smoothly. Lenovo customer support's solution was to take it to a Bestbuy to get it fixed as it is a hardware issue and the laptop was out of warranty. Luckily, I bought it from Costco and called their tech support who, after asking me a few questions, asked me if there are any updates pendng. I saw that I had a pending windows update. As soon as I did that, the camera and the brighness problem were resolved. If I had relied on Lenovo support, I would have wasted precious time and money!”
“the Lenovo 14 Flex5 D4IN R7 16GB 512S laptop:

**Disappointed with Lenovo Flex5 - Constant Issues and Annoying Updates**
I recently purchased the Lenovo 14 Flex5 D4IN R7 16GB 512S laptop on EMI for around 70,000 rupees, and I am extremely disappointed with my experience so far. I had high hopes for this device, but it has been nothing short of a nightmare.
**1. Endless Updates:**
The most frustrating aspect of this laptop is the incessant updates. Every day, there's a new update notification, and if I don't install them immediately, basic functions of the laptop start malfunctioning. It's like I'm forced into a never-ending cycle of updates, which is both time-consuming and annoying.
**2. Audio Issues:**
One of the most irritating problems is that the updates seem to disable the inbuilt sound of the laptop. Suddenly, everything goes mute, and I have to scramble to figure out what's wrong. It's ridiculous that such a basic feature is being affected.
**3. Browser Hijacking:**
Despite setting Google Chrome as my preferred browser, the laptop keeps switching back to Microsoft Edge. It's incredibly frustrating when I have to repeatedly change my default browser settings. It's as if Lenovo is deliberately trying to make Edge the only usable browser, which feels like a violation of my preferences.
**4. Buggy Performance:**
Each update brings its own set of bugs. Instead of improving the laptop's performance, these updates seem to introduce new issues. It's like Lenovo is using customers as guinea pigs to test their software updates.
**5. Privacy Concerns:**
I can't shake the feeling that Lenovo is spying on its users. The way they push their updates and force certain settings makes me question their commitment to customer privacy. It's like they prioritize their agenda over user satisfaction, which is deeply unsettling.
Overall, the Lenovo 14 Flex5 D4IN R7 16GB 512S has been a massive letdown. I regret my purchase and would advise others to think twice before investing in this model. Lenovo needs to seriously reconsider their approach if they want to retain customers. This laptop feels more like a source of torture than a helpful device.
**Rating: 1/5**”
“Battery failed while in warranty. Lenovo said send the laptop to their repair facility in Houston. They advised I would be without a computer for 2 or more weeks. Depending on whether they have a battery in stock. I replied 1) I cannot be without a computer for 2+ weeks and 2) I advised that I am currently traveling I said just ship me the batttery and I'll pay an independent install. Lenovo refused. Basically you are out of luck if you cannot part with your computer for 2 plus weeks. Give me a break. Who can go without a computer for two or more weeks. I thought I was being pretty decent to offer to pay to have a third party to install.”
“What a complete balls up, My computer stopped charging ,thank god i brought an extended warranty, the guy turned up to fix it and and said nothing was wrong with it. Two days later it stopped working again. it's now 4 weeks and I have no computer.
Five times I have rung to see what's happening, two times they couldn;t find the case, and one time the lost the part.
Today the guy said he has other plans I'll need to wait another 4 days.
I want to scream im so angry”
“OMG, I'm not the only one, I have such a terrible experience with Lenovo Customer care team, technical team, warranty team, ANZ team, I purchased new Lenovo February, 2nd lenovo, thought buy direct not through third party so will be look after if any issues, ha how wrong was I!
The has been a leak issue with the Oled screen, I contacted Lenovo to speak to someone about it, I was pushed to a whatsapp chat, automated, then a link was sent, days later an email demanding 12 photos of computer, more days waiting to receive an email saying my case transfered to yet another team for issue repair quote, but this is under warranty, no explanation of what was wrong, again days later an email came with a repair quote for $935, what the... I just paid $1590 4 months ago, in shock I did not respond straight away and Lenovo have emailed daily for response despite it taking me weeks in follow up emails from 14th June to today 7th July, I responded last week to management, customer care, ANZ and any other lenovo email, ANZ management came back to me, saying they would look into the case and assured me they would have the issue sorted by close of business, that 3 days ago and I haven't heard anything, how can such a big public company like Lenovo treat it's customers with such distain complete disregard, I was shocked when I went to leave a review and found 102 other reviews saying exactly what I have experienced, shame on you lenovo, Do not buy a lenovo, if any thing goes wrong your on your own!”
“Four attempts over two days and 30 minutes on the phone with a representative and still no PC because of their internal issues.
The singular worst on-line shopping experience I have ever had amplified by this being an established I.T. Company.
The representative, was a good fellow and tried hard but could not complete the sale because of issues on their end so, one star for Lenovo Corp and two stars for service. I will never return to that site. Impossible to buy a computer from!”
“I purchase a lenova computer june 10, I try to set it up on June 17,, i make a phone call to the company for help, they keep transfering me to difrent people , I was transfer to 6 difrent supports team, not of them could tell me the information I need, in the middle of our conversation the 6th person hang up the phone on me. Customer service is very very poor, horrible. I'm taking this lenova computer back to Best Buy where I bought it. I want my money back, they very unprofessional. You could tell also while talking to me they wher on the phone. Very distracted during the conversation. I purchase at 1717 York Rd Baltimore Md. If if I don't get my money back, I will continue to come on and give reviews.very Poor customer service!!!”
“Horrible customer service. I called and was transferred 4 times before I hung up the phone. All I wanted to do was check an order status I placed a week ago. No updates on a $1200 laptop. No info on the account or emails. No tracking or other order updates. Get your act together and you would sell a lot more devices. Pretty pathetic your a laptop/tech company and can’t even help your customers when they call.”
“It seemed a good laptopf or about a year and a hale, but then the screen kept shutting off to the point I could not see anything anytime, athough I knew it was turned on. The motherboard along with other parts had to be replaced when it was only 18 months old. Luckily I bought a 4 year warranty. After it was repaired (new board and other parts) it seemed fine for a few months, but then the screen started to black out no reason at random times. I will be taking it in for another inspection soon. I would not recommend this product.”
“This computer is nothing but a piece of junk. I purchased this LENOVO laptop from Costco and the cover/door breaks at hinges and Costco replaced it for me for the exact same model and the same problem happened again. I definitely believe this a defective flaws by manufacturer on this product and they refuse to admit this defect. I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue and I hope it would be a recall or a class action lawsuit against them. Don’t be fooled by look or price since this is NOT absolutely a computer you can depend on and it’s more headache than it’s worth it.”
“I have bought 2 laptops from Lenovo, one of which had the lowest performance I’ve seen on a device, the other one was an expensive gaming laptop and it just completely stopped working. Sent it back for repairs, then stopped working again. Please buy your devices elsewhere.”
“Das Ladekabel hatte leider einen weg und ist durchgebrannt aber sonst bin ich super zufrieden.
