My refrigerator is 5 years old. When I called on the warranty I was told I'd be contacted via email or phone to set up an appointment. Its been almost 2 months and I've called multiple times. I have no answer. Talked with one guy that seemed as if he was doing something and thats all I have heard. Please don't ever buy LG again as they have no problem taking your money and walking away. Customer service is poor. I purposely bought an LG in the thought of a higher brand being held to a higher standard but I guess I was wrong. I will never buy again. Thanks for taking my $1,600 like nothing.

WHEN MY WASHING MACHINE START LEAKING ,IT WAS STILL IN THE WARRANTY PERIOD ,I CALED lG CUSTOMER SERVICE, IT WAS THE GREATEST DISSAPONTMENT I EVER HAD, TERRIBLE SERVICE INCLUDING WAITING ON THE PHONE OVER 20 MINS ,I WILL NEVER BUY LG PRODUCT AGAIN, BEWARE BUY LG AND YOU WILL BE SORRY ! IF SOMEITHING GOES WRONG YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN ,AWFUL SERVICE, VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING ,DONT BUY LG !

May the 27th 2024 we purchased an LG refrigerator to replace our old Kenmore The new one is on the same spot & same water line as the old one After A few months the water started to taste chemically I called LG they gave me a nr for their subcontractor here in Miami , they sent a young boy , the first time he had a filter with him , that didn’t work , second time after waiting for 6 hours the same boy with nothing showed up I called his supervisor complaining about the poor service , explanation : we can’t do anymore for you, you have a braided water line !! After some argument & me informing him our old refrigerator had been hooked to that same line & 0 problem he said “the old one had a better filtration system “!! To call Brandsmart where we purchased it Called Brandsmart they said the 15 days return window was closed & the warranty ( we purchased a 5 year one ) doesn’t cover !!! So the blame game was on , nobody ask us what kind of water line we had or warn us this might happened yet we are left with a poor made product from LG that doesn’t work 💯 & they don’t care . By the way many other customers have the same issue I saw it online , stay away from this 2 companies

Less than one year old washer ruined my clothes, sheets and bedding even after having two service technicians come out twice, the first 7 appointments which were missed (no call, no show). As well as the “claims” I’ve made through LG to get compensation for my stuff that was ruined were never recorded.

You have given me the run around for over a month on my LG fridge compressor. Your service team acted like they were on my side. I was promised a check for this inconvenience......never happened. When I called back to find out where my $1200 was the next rep said there was no mention of this in the notes. I trashed my new LG fridge but I want others to know how bad your company is. This is a known issue and you prefer to mediate. Hope it costs you lots of money because you've earned it.

I love LG products, but this is the worst customer service ever. Gas dryer. I scheduled the delivery at the time of purchase. The delivery company contacted me a week later, and had no record of the appointment. They scheduled me for a different day. When they arrived, they would not touch the gas pipe in the room. I'd paid for the installation at the time of purchase, and confirmed three times that they can install the gas appliance. I contacted LG to refund my installation fee, and the "customer support" team told me I need to call back Monday. She did send whoever it is a ticket to call me on Monday. The scripted phrase "I hope I've been able to resolve your problem" is one of the most passive-aggressive things I've ever heard. Fast forward to Monday. Someone called me, then put me on hold to transfer me. New agent asked for my order number. I was outside putting air in my tires. I asked her to look it up by name/address/phone number. She wouldn't do that "because it will take too long." My name isn't a common name, but she wouldn't do it. I went inside. The LG website wanted me to set up a new account for "consolidation of accounts," why, IDK. So I didn't do that. I had to search through my email and finally found the order number. The next words out of her mouth were, and I swear this is true, "Can you verify you name and address?" Now she was able to read the notes from my delivery. Then she put me on hold so she could call the delivery company. I told her to call me back when she'd resolved my complaint. Calls me back. She has to forward the request elsewhere to be approved. That takes 3-4 days. Then they only process requests 3 days out of the week. I swear. Her final words: "I'm glad I was able to resolve this for you."

Terrible customer service. Can’t answer any questions. Place on hold for long period times. Lie about information. I was suppose to get a call when order was being delivered. They left a dishwasher on my front porch , that was supposed to be install , without calling to inform. Attempted to cancel and they gave the run around for hrs. Bad bad bad customer service. Place on hold again after requesting not be placed on hold

Customer service is the absolute worst. . .Will never buy another LG product. . .and as you can see there are so many that feel the same and are unhappy with the support they have received. When my stove was still under warranty. . .my stove knobs bubbled, cracked and peeled. Had a chat with the 1st and only LG Agent, who was absolutely wonderful. She told me the knobs were defective, it was an on-going issue with numerous customer complaints and that the engineers were working on it. . .She sent me new knobs but said they were not the new improved knobs and if it happened again to come back. After a while, the new ones did the same thing, so I went back. I got a different agent every time I was contacted. . . with one Agent being very rude. Told me my stove was out of warranty, sent me a price list and said I’d have to purchase the new knobs myself. When I questioned that, reminding her this was an on-going warranty issue. . .she told me I just wanted something for free. I told her there was nothing free about defective knobs on a $1200.00 Gas Range/Stove. . .plus in the interim, my bottom oven plate rusted out and developed holes. . .which was even worse and quite dangerous. . . I was in contact with so many agents/reps, always getting the same answer, telling me to be patient, that my case was being reviewed and I’d hear soon. . .After a ridiculous amount of time, texts, and e-mails, all I got was a text offering a 10% discount on a LG product. I couldn’t believe that was their idea of good customer service, on a $1200 stove. The last thing I wanted, right then, was another LG product. I think they have a special team that keeps giving customers the run around, till they just give up. . . I made one last complaint, directly to the Presidential Liaison Team, but got the same run around. They just said the parts were no longer available so we cannot replace the knobs. Due to the stove being out of warranty, all they could do was offer me a 15% off coupon code on the purchase of any LG appliance . MY response again was, “Really??. . .10% or 15% coupon offers, do nothing for the $1200 stove I already have. . .Both coupons are nothing more than an insult. The knobs on the new stoves look exactly the same. . . so doubted there was any truth to that part. Just more run around. . .which they are really good at. . . again I will NEVER buy or recommend an LG product to anyone ever again. . .In 50 years of marriage, this is the worst appliance and customer service I’ve ever had. Do yourself a favor and DON’T BUY !!

Worst experience. Under 5 yrs old , Two icemakers and condenser replaced the worst was the peeling of the paint stainless steel had a fridge for 18 years. Never had that problem with the stainless steel. Look like hell after several months going back-and-forth with the company they replace the panels on the door and this process the heavy was Sailed underneath the door panel technician told me the customer has to remove the plastic could not remove it all as it was under the panel and he should have removed that plastic before he put the panel and door knob back on now I can't even close the door right because the can't get out the plastic the company refuses to come out to fix this unless I pay $150 the technician should've removed this plastic before he put the panel on .they will not back Up this problem Meanwhile, the door won't even shut right I will fight this by going to the Better Business Bureau consumer protection, and so far I would advise everyone to stay away from LJ products

Horrible customer service. Bought LG washer in November 2023 and i have had nothing but issues with it. Five days before they can send a tech to look at it. What kind of service is that. DO NOT BUY LG APPLIANCES THEY ARE GARBAGE.

LG trying to use a bereavement against us would give less than one star Life was better before we had LG Product and LG trying to use a bereavement against us LG customer Service trying to use a bereavement against us to get out their duty as a manufacturer to their consumer. Underhanded behaviour, the trauma we suffered is not a tool for LG to try and use against us as if we did something wrong - had you done your duty in the first place we would have had the fridge repaired (successfully) in September 2023 when it was reported as delivered damaged, it it would not even have been another thing we had to still deal with in December 2023 on top of the awful situation we found ourselves in. Just when I thought this companies customer service couldn’t get any worse you have stooped to a new low - not taking the time to check all the facts and then trying to blame a sudden and tragic death we suffered on your inadequate and quiet frankly shocking customer service taking almost a year to repair a damaged on delivery £2.5k fridge, but for the engineer to leave it worse than before and refuse to action our consumer rights for replacement or refund a further 2 months on and try and use bereavement in accurately to try and get out of manufacturers responsibility

Worst customer service ever.... Don't buy LG anything. They don't stand by their products. Been waiting a month for a repair, when you call you just get ignored. Even emailed the president directly. Called me, but now have been ghosted for weeks. Made several attempts to get an update. No response. Do yourself a favor and don't mess with LG products. I NEVER WILL AGAIN.....

Immediately had issues with the cooktop. They refused to do anything. Three calls to foreign country customer support and I am still waiting for the email they are supposed to send me. Grrrrrr

DON’T PURCHASE LG PRODUCTS, they have terrible customer service and give you the run around when they deliver broken products! I purchased a washer online from lg.com on June 2, to be delivered on June 10th. Wasn’t even shipped until June 20th, but of course they charged my credit card on June 2 (get that clock ticking so people can’t dispute a charge on the credit card when faulty equipment is delivered!!). Immediately after delivery I tried doing loads. Washer squeaked and squealed like a jet was landing in my laundry room (can hear it at volume in every room of my house!) during both wash cycle and spin cycle. Tried several different sizes loads and different cycles, but the noise was incredible. Started calling the next day to report. Customer Service sent me to AI chat lines, websites with AI bot trying to answer questions, left me in hold for hours, transferred me to another department that hung up after a I patiently held for another 45 minutes, etc. ENDLESS RUN-AROUND even though I b purchased it directly from LG. On day 8 I started sending emails with video and audio, sent 3 times. Another week went by with no contact. Then I get a one-line email saying a technician is going to be scheduled (no date, no phone number to confirm, no information on who at LG is answering). Six more days go by, get a one line email saying s technician will come on July 16 (no time, no instructions, no phone number again). July 16 technician calls WHEN HE IS ALREADY ENROUTE to my house! Technician verifies it’s installed properly, does tests, says machine is broken ands will have to be replaced and he will notify Returns. FOUR MORE WEEKS and they do not contact me at all! I start calling and calling again, endless hours on hold. Finally get hold of someone and they say they will need to send s technician. I explain they already did, but she says there is no record. Luckily I had the email, the technician’s text and other proof. Forward that and they decide maybe they should send someone else, but it would be 2-4 weeks. I said it was unacceptable as it was already August 13 when I ordered on June 2. Finally got sent to Returns and Refund for a replacement. But they explain they will send a company to pick it up (3-6 week wait), then it will be shipped to warehouse (another week) to be scanned it so information can be sent to Refund and Returns to process (another week), then they will refund my credit card (3-5 days before it shows), and then I can reorder, but delivery may be 3-6 weeks because RXO is booked and only comes to my area the third Saturday of the month!! So I purchased June 2 and MIGHT get a working washer in November or December. I again said it was unacceptable that they expect me to wait 6 MONTHS for a working washer from the day I ordered it (when I reported it broken the day after they delivered it!). Started posting on social media and was messengered (August 23) that the PRESIDENTIAL LIASON TEAM would be contacting me to straighten this out. I’m still waiting on September 11 for that contact! I’ve checked in several times (latest on August 28th where they “regret any disappointment you’ve experienced” and “rest assured that the PLT will contact you within this week”. Well it’s been another 14 days and still no contact or resolution. Meanwhile, some company called without warning me THE MORNING THEY WANTED TO PICK UP THE WASHER!! I was hundreds miles away, and I had NOT in any way agreed to this appointment. On top of everything, 3 months into this whole mess, one of their “consumer service” agents tried to say I had no claim and they would close the case because I “failed to report the defective machine within 30 days of delivery”!! I immediately said I had proof that I called repeatedly starting on day 2, and I had the emails proving I sent 3 emails with videos and audios on day 8, and that I have the phone calls and all the texts and Facebook messenger messages saved documented. So that agent immediately just said “Oh, then I guess you have a claim and i can’t close the issue”. Talk about trying to play dirty!!

Do not ever purchase an Lg product. The customer service was terrible. I spent hours doing checks on my dryer for them to give me two different reasons why it does not work even though it’s not even a year old. One the gas pressure needed checked. I had Consumers come out that’s not an issue second the ducts are full. Wrong again, the vents are empty and clean. I just need someone to come out and fix it and Instead, they want to chat more. I don’t have time I have to work.

LG stands for Literal Garbage. They lie and do not honor their compressor warranty. I am joining the class action lawsuit against them. Unfortunately, it is my only resolution. I have given them every chance and all I get are lies. They are over their heads with this LG linear compressor issue. Fix it instead of lying about it would be a better choice!!!!

During Labor Day weekend I purchased on the LG website, and with the help of an agent, a stackable washer/dryer to be delivered Sept. 4…I was told the “sale” would include delivery, installation, a $50 rebate on removing my existing LG washer/dryer and a discount on a three year additional warranty…I placed the order and as promised they were delivered on time…They were just left and I was told no notation to be installed…I was also told that there previous deliveries the people also were left with just boxes and no installation…I spent hours on the phone speaking to people that didn’t understand something so simple and was transferred multiple times to different departments to no avail…Even supervisors were not helpful…I was told I have two options to either get a $100 inconvenience fee or have them picked up and reorder…What?…Needing to get them installed I called multiple independent installers and wound up paying $365…There went the “sale.”…The LG customer service department is totally incompetent…I spoke to a minimum of 5 representatives with no help and worst of all it was hard to communicate even with the two supervisors I spoke with…I have multiple LG TV’s and my old LG washer/dryer lasted over 16 years…It’s not about the product…I will never order anything from the LG website again and hopefully will never have to deal with their customer service department…Also for the record this is the first time I have written a bad review ever…
