My $3,000 LG refrigerator compressor died after 4 years. We have a 10 year warranty on the compressor and 5 years on the whole refrigerator. LG won't honorer the warranty and and are giving us the run around. NO appliance company will touch it because LG has screwed them. We will fight for full refund and go to the Attorney General.

I have only purchased LG products for a long time I purchased a range in June 2023. The oven has not worked since we got. They have sent out a repair person three times. Each time it was not Vc repaired. When I call customer service I just get the run around. I obviously have Lemon. It should be replaced

I should have reviewed these reviews first. Bought TV and never connects with phone as advertised. Under warranty but still LG failed to sort it out , have to approach small claim court for the refund and compensation for the day they promised will send an engineer who never came. Writing this to help further buyers in case

Don't buy LG products by mistake. It will motivate you by showing offers, features while buying, be it Khosla Electronics or Great Istran. In 2019, I bought a refrigerator from Khosla for 54,000/-, it had a 10-year compressor warranty. Worse on 2nd Oct 2023, LG mechanic checked and said it will be changed. After 4-5 days another mechanic came and told condenser and bad change for 4000/-. He said that without applying the compressor. Various excuses have been going on for about 15 days. Those who buy will suffer later.

LG Heat Pump Condenser 9 kg I purchased the above just over 2 years ago. The first year was working as advertised, then a rapid decline in its efficiency. The clothes were generally damp after completion of the cycle and the cycle kept resetting-sometimes to taking up to 10 hours a load. I contacted LG. They sent out a technician who replaced two pumps on 2 separate occasions, replaced the water diverter on another occasion and also replaced the sensor. The condensation in the drum was huge, so much so that the moisture then escaped from the door onto the floor on every load, despite me cleaning the seal repeatedly and ensuring there was no fluff on the door and seal. The customer service was so automated. The amount of times I was told “I really want to fix this for you” and “I understand” was incredibly frustrating. Eventually (after me chasing LG up again and again), I spoke to the resolution team which was a total waste of time. I was told the technician found nothing wrong and the machine was in working order and I would have to contact the service technician myself, if I wanted it looked at again and would be charged if no fault found. It was like losing an uphill battle. All I can do now is to advise people never to buy LG products and that I should have looked at LG reviews prior to buying one of their products, as there are countless unfavourable reviews.

I purchased a washer and dryer the nicest one the have they were 1300 each I got to sets one for my house and the other for my brothers house the washer door on mine does not closes right Home Depot installer came for recheck and said that door needs to be replaced lg finally sent a technician to address the issue but obviously he didn’t know what he’s doing he said it’s normal because it’s new you to apply some pressure I was like no my brothers washer it’s not like that so end of story LG doesn’t take care of there stuff I won’t ever buy an LG again

What a poor customer services department to deal with. Tried reporting a product fault 3 times the agent did not understand me and kept going through their script for cleaning the auto dosing system even though the machine was only a week old. Personally I would NEVER purchase another LG product. Absolutely rubbish company

Appalling customer service, on the phone the background noise of what seems to be a foreign call centre is so loud it’s incredibly difficult to hear anything they say to you and the assistant doesn’t seem to use English as their first language. If you try to use the chat online they try and charge you. We have had this machine for 4 weeks and after trying to report an extreme smell of burning their initial advice was to run it again in its hottest cycle. Didn’t seem the wisest thing to do so refused and then spent the next 40 minutes waiting for them to complete a form…..I’m actually astonished at how unprofessional and ridiculous this has been. I will never purchase an LG product again.

Initial date for delivery was August 31, 2023 - this was rescheduled due to hurricane Idalia (which I live on the coast of Hernando County) to September 7th. I waited all day for a delivery to arrive, nothing. Next day I called and was told it should be arriving Sept 8th, again no show. LG CSR told me Sept 12th... I could have bought from a local store and picked up myself. LG doesn't bother to notify about the reschedule, they expect you to call in after a no show, so they can give you another BS excuse. The CSR can't even track where the items are...

LG has the worst customer service ever!! We will never buy another LG appliance again. I’ve spent well over the cost of a new unit of my time in dealing with this garbage and it’s still NOT resolved!!! The new A/C unit has still not been sent out. More promises every day and still NOTHING! Spend your money on another brand!!! Our A/C went out in our house over a month ago. Tech went out and repaired it (took one week for this to happen) and it was broken again within 48 hours. He came back out and said it needed a complete new unit. (This was another week) We didn’t receive a new unit for another week because they didn’t order it right away. Received new unit on the 14th - which was delivered on the 14th - in the rain. No one called beforehand like they said they would - so it sat outside in the rain all day. Technicians don’t install the new units - when my husband went to put it in - the new unit was damaged. I have called / talked on chat EVERY day since then and no one has been able to help me - everyone says they will escalate it and nothing happens - it’s all false promises and lies. For over a week of me calling / chatting - no one ever said we need you to cut the serial number plate off of the unit and send us that picture - it wasn’t until I asked did someone finally say yes that’s what we’re waiting on!!! 😡 Thankful someone reviewed my claim weeks prior to tell me what I was missing and what was holding up the process of them shipping my new unit out. 🙄🙄 #thisdidnthappen So here we are over a month later - over a week now since I sent in all of the correct pictures and still no new unit on the way. When I call and ask for a supervisor I get no where. It’s absolutely ridiculous that there isn’t anyone capable at LG’s customer service that can actually do what they say they are going to do and take care of the customer!!! Absolutely unacceptable!!

I have been calling for a replacement remote control since July 15 and it is August 28, and i have yet to receive the replacement. Customer service is the worst. I have been given the runaround. Every time I call a get different story. I will never recommend LG to anyone or buy another LG product.

Customer service is bad!!!!! Do not buy the warranty!!! I would never buy another LG product! My refrigerator went out and I have been waiting a month to get it repaired. The customer service was terrible. Jake was the representative to answer my call and he was no help at all I stayed on hold for over 30 minutes and he still was no help at all . They get you to buy the warranty and when you need repair they don’t hold up their part of the contract. I don’t recommend LG appliances to anyone!

Been calling for 1 year on refrigerator. They send video trying to explain that some noises are normal....told them no, none of the video issues are my issues. REFUSE to send technician after first 9 calls. Now i get put on hold for an hour and argued with by someone who hardly speaks English. Warranty up in 2 weeks still no technician. Customer support is the worst ever!! Pretty much non existent. I have even been told by service companies they won't even deal with LG because they are impossible to deal with on their end too. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING LG!!! I will continue to contact them until I get reimbursed for this piece of junk refrigerator!!!! LG sucks!!!

Would leave no stars if possible! This company are scammers!! Avoid at all cost!! 😡 I’ve had my washer/dryer less than two years. It came with a five year warranty. I originally had a problem with the drum of the machine, they brought out a engineer to fix it only he didn’t put the screws back, he said to me when he left, he’s now going back with a pocket full of screws!? I thought to myself surely my machine needs those screws, anyway we carried on using the machine thinking the engineer knows best & I need clean clothes however, a few months later surprise, surprise the machine were running extremely loud & got so much worse over this time & also kept overheating to a point where you can no longer touch it when on. It burnt through the door seal & I contacted LG again. They sent out a second engineer who replaced the seal & put back some of the screws as he said they were missing, he asked to use my bathroom before he left & me not realising he had actually cut himself whilst operating on my machine aloud him to & sent him upstairs. After he left I not only realised blood marks all over my machine but there were blood marks all over my bathroom, my white towels & my freshly painted walls!!!! Why he didn’t just ask for a plaster I don’t know but I made a complaint to the company & they apologised!! Then a couple of months later I had to contact them again. The machine had again overheated & burnt through the replacement door seal!! They sent out another engineer to again replace the seal which he did but also left my machine with a leak so not only is it ridiculously loud, unusable & overheating it is now also leaking!!! 😡 I’ve tried to contact LG numerous times regarding this but they have stopped replying, it’s been weeks & I can not wash/dry my clothes as my machine is not fit for purpose! I had my previous washer/dryer over ten years & I never once had a problem with it! If I hadn’t decided to ‘upgrade’ the machine I’d still probably be using that one with no issues what so ever. Please, please, please do not purchase any product from this company! Save yourself the hassle & stress & use any other brand but LG!!!

Our 9 month old LG microwave quit working. Called LG for warranty repair. It was registered when we purchased our home. They sold it direct to the builder but couldn't find the records by the SN. When they finally found it, they had us living in AL with a Chicago exchange phone number. We're in NC. Told us they couldn't get in touch with repair so they'd give us 3 contacts to call ourselves. One was 7 hours away, one 3 and the local one wouldn't work on an over the stove microwave. Then found out LG had NOT instigated a warranty repair, just a case number. They wouldn't do warranty without a copy of the invoice THEY sent to our builder. Finally got warranty number and A&E repair came out. Looked at it and ordered 3 parts and said they'd be back day after parts arrived. That was 2 weeks ago. You can't call or email A&E. LG couldn't get through to get us an appointment. We got escalated to the LG president liason. Took over a week for them to get thru. Repairman shows up with no helper to unmount and remount the microwave. Now I understand why LG and A&E both only have 1 star ratings.

Horrible service!!!! My 2 month old refrigerator totally stopped working a week ago and I can’t even get an appt set after 3 calls to repair!!! So Lowes will sell you the appliance but after that forget it!!!!! Plus they lie to you about turn around times to even get any help!!! Never again. I’ve had no refrigerator for a week now and they don’t expect anyone to call me to even set up an appt until next week!! $2500 gone at this point. Crooks!!!

LG refrigerator ( French door with ice system) model is just a junk!!! I purchased 2019 brand new and it’s an expensive, initial two years was great and after then cooler was not working good.. few days beck completely stoped ( it’s only 3.5 years old) contacted LG they said compressor has 10 year’s warranty, however you need to pay flat rate ( cost 403) to fix the issue and that cost will cover another 90 days!!! I will never recommend anyone to purchase LG refrigerator. And same thing with my LG 65 NenoCell TV I purchased three years beck!! It just now working recently. Wow!!! What a junk product by LG ….
