6 months, that is how long we had our $1000 washer machine until it decided to fail. It developed a terrible leak and a grinding noise during the rinse cycle. Figured things happen, and it’s under warranty and LG is a big popular brand that should stand behind their brand (spoiler, I was wrong). Called the LG warranty line and they set up an appointment for the next week. OK, we can survive a week. Got an automated notice that my appointment was pushed 2 more weeks right in the middle of a pre planned vacation. Called them and they explained that they were preordering the parts needed based on my description of the issue and it could be 10 days for the parts to come in. Makes sense (wish they had ordered the parts the week before but ok…). Fast forward 2 weeks and we cut our vacation early to be home for the appointment. Then we get a call 2 hrs before the scheduled arrival time telling us our appointment was pushed 3 more weeks!! So 6 weeks (hopefully) for a repair to a washer that failed after 6 months. Between the product quality and customer service it is difficult to tell which is more lacking! Avoid this one, this is not the LG of old and they seem to have really fallen off in both categories.

Do not buy LG appliances. My refrigerator broke after 2 years, my dryer after 3 years and my dishwasher doesn't really do a good job. They are bad appliances. Spend a little more and get a better brand.

This unit stopped working less than 30 days after being installed. It was more than 30 days after the purchase so I had to deal directly with LG. Unit cannot be worked on because of the type of coolant so it was approved for an exchange (on 5/30/24) to be contacted within 7 business days. Still waiting 7/4/24! Customer service is weak. They seem to only be able to escalate/elevate 1 way regardless of the outcome. It has escalated dozens of times, including the Presidential Liaison team, but no one seems to be able to do anything! I've completed the Talk to the President area on the website twice in the last 30 days and have never heard from anyone.

Representatives are nice but they don't help me solve problems. After I got transferred to talk to different departments and repeat my information many times regarding delivery service and installation. I gave up and asked for the refund. The refund wasn't process until I called a week after my request. And then, the same situation happened, I talked to many many representatives. The still haven't gotten my money back. I'm exhausted just to think about having to talk to them again!

We bought a new LG refrigerator about two years ago and complaned to LG that the ice maker was making weird noises and didn't sound right and they wouldn't send any body out to look at it and last week the ice maker made it's last ice and $170 later we have making ice again without the weird noises coming out of it. I will never buy a LG appliance again

If I could give a worst rating I would. My 85 year old mother purchased a microwave, stove and dishwasher on January 20, it finally arrived March 23rd, and 1 week later the microwave died. It is now July 2nd and she still has no microwave. Penelope, the LG Presidential Liason has stopped responding to inquiries. LG sent the same technician to my mom’s house, twice, and both times he said the microwave can not be fixed. But here we are, months later and she still has no microwave, still has no refund and still LG has not done a thing but pass us along. I have been in constant contact with them because this has stressed her out far more than it ever should have. Life is good? Really? Only if you buy a Samsung. LG…. Lame. G stands for GO BUY a SAMSUNG.

Horrible and disgusting costumer service. My brand new stackable washer broke and for last month I have been calling them at least 10 times and they can’t just send a technician to come diagnose it and let alone fix it. Also the machine broke right after it was bought. Go with other brands.

My 43 inch smart tv died on me after 4 years of low use. About 2 hours a night. I will NEVER buy anything with the LG label again.

Bought a new TV 4 months ago. Stopped working. I have called then at least 6 times Sent them all the information they requested. They have done nothing. I am very frustrated. The people don't speak good English. Just want my television fixed

A few weeks ago we purchased a brand new LG refrigerator. It says it should have two full convert drawer bin dividers. It only came with one. The store we purchased this from says we have to contact LG for another one. We did this and their reply was to buy an entire new drawer for approximately $161.00. Ridiculous.

OMG! How can you treat customers so badly and have such appalling customer service? 8 weeks now without a machine - I have complained officially, was told a repair would happen Friday, confirmed by the complaint dept and yet again, for the THIRD time, the appt was cancelled on the day without any communication with me, no response to my email enquiry to the complaint department either. Machine is two years old, with a five year warranty - bought in good faith because of that warranty offer and it is not worth the paper it was written on! At this point I am looking at a charge back on my credit card for mis sold goods, not fit for purpose (obvs) or small claims court. Someone at LG needs to take control of repairs and the customer journey through them as its shambolic at present.

Obviously would give 0 stars if I could. No one calls back, extensive wait times, inconsistent and unhelpful responses. They "lost" our washer and dryer that we paid for in full and we continue to get no response form them as to when it will be delivered or we will be refunded. STAY FAR AWAY FROM LG THERE'S SO MANY OTHER BETTER COMPANIES!

Bought a $2700 dollar refrigerator from Lowe’s three years ago and the compressor failed. When calling LG for service I was told that it came with 5 years on the compressor. But they provided parts but not the $458 for the labor. After two weeks of trying to get them to cover the cost of the complete repair, but to my disappointment they would not! I the decided to bite the bullet and pay for the labor. Two weeeks went by and we finally had a date for the repair. By then I read that here had been several class action suites for failed compressors. I tried again to convince LG to repair the compressor and labor. They would not they provided the parts to the installer and he came out and installed the new compressor. It still didn’t work!! Installer said the motherboard must failed as well. Part was $158.00 and labor $225.00, and recommended getting a new fridge since LG from his experience was junk. So my suggestion is to buy A Frigidaire or Wirlpool. They only give a one year warrantee on an appliance that should last 10 years at least. And knowing that they have an ongoing problem they should have paid for all parts and labor. I will never buy an LG product ever again. You know I’m sharing this story with everyone I know. My $2700 refrigerator cost me close to $4000! Plus the $450 in spoiled food. Less than 1 star for LG!

We had a multitude of issues go wrong with our LG French Door fridge starting with the ice maker and the compressor. We paid to have the ice maker replaced only to find that the problem was the wiring in the door carcass. We also had to pay for the installation of the compressor as LG’s warranty only covers the compressor. The technician that did the repairs told us that all of the problems we had with the fridge shouldn’t have happened and the fridge life should be around 8-10 years. I contacted LG who refused to replace the faulty door and told me that the stainless steel finish colour had changed so even if they did agree to replace it the colour would be different as they no longer carry old stock. This was a blatant lie as I contacted there authorised repairer again and they advised that LG had 6 in stock. I will never purchase an LG product as this company cannot be trusted and their products are poorly built and unreliable.

Bought an LG LTCS20020 fridge 1.5 yrs ago. Was in my price range, but didn't have as many standard features as my old (15 yrs old) Kenmore. (Inflation is a bummer.) Anyway, the glass shelves are not well made and the plastic around the glass cracked. I didn't store really heavy items on them, just the usual, milk, juice, etc. Of course the shelves are not under warranty. I think on the whole the fridge is not as well made as it's shelves should not crack and break in such a short time.

Purchased a brand new LG French door fridge for $1,900.00. Fridge has broken 3 times in the first year and this time I'm being told I need to wait 2 weeks for parts so I can schedule an appointment to have it repaired. Their policy is the fridge has to break 5 times before they'll replace it! Absolute garbage customer service! Garbage product! Huge regret buying LG and I will never make that mistake again! 14 months old and my only option is to buy a second fridge so I can feed my family of 6! I wish -5 stars was an option! Not to mention the over $1,000.00 in food spoilage I've suffed this past year too! Don't buy anything from this hack of a company!

Our 3 year old fridge with pullout freezer with ice maker and water dispenser completely quit working a week ago. Been calling LG everyday and being told there are no technicians in my area and they have no clue when there will be!!! DON'T BUY LG!!!!!

Bought a $2000 stove, the stove top stopped working after a couple of weeks of purchase, we called lg under warranty and they came and fixed it, after the repair man left the oven stopped working and they refused to come back to fix their mistakes, customer service was the worst

Horrible experience. Horrible customer service. I’ve been placed on hold and no one has returned to the phone in an hour. They want me to give up and hang up. I want to get and attorney and take legal actions against this company.
