Placed an order on 11/27 at Loot Vault for Christmas gifts. I emailed customer service weeks before Christmas to make sure my order would arrive in time. Customer service just kept lying to me, saying anything ordered before December 5th would ship in time for Christmas. Guess what? It’s Christmas Eve and I don’t have my order. They didn’t seem to care that it takes longer than 4 weeks to ship an order. If they were so far behind with shipping why not offer overtime to employees or hire additional help? Well they don’t care either way and don’t really want to do anything to make it up to you.

My elderly grandmother who can barely speak english bought me a loot crate once, and they have charged her card OVER AND OVER despite cancelling the subscription NUMEROUS times. We even canceled the card and they STILL called her and then LIED saying that she owed them money and would be in legal trouble if she didnt give her new cc info over. When we tried to call they would NOT answer the phone, when we tried to make contact on FB they blocked us. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU.

Loot Crate has TERRIBLE customer service and completely unreliable delivery/shipping dates. I ordered 2 6-month t-shirt subscriptions for Christmas presents back in October. It's now December 19th and I just received a Loot Crate box with crappy leftover toys... not the two t-shirt subscriptions that I ordered. They will not provide customer support over the phone, you have to email them and wait 48 hours for a reply. It's 5 days before Christmas and I'm SURE they won't be here in time. UNACCEPTABLE!

I went out on a limb to try loot crate. I had never tried a box subscription before and will never try it again. I was told a box that didn't arrive would be doubled the next month but then I only received one box. I have emailed back and forth for 2 weeks always needing to repeat myself. I will add that most of the items in the boxes are very cheaply made items.

Terrible service. I have ordered 2 crates and been given one as a gift and I can tell you the reviews that says "dollar store items" are completely accurate. The shirts are cheap and fade in one wash, the items are not what you expect at all. 1. The wizarding crates are suppose to be house themed, they are not. I ordered a Ravenclaw crate and received a Slythryn crate... Because it was a "dark arts" themed crate. No warning that there wouldn't be a single Ravenclaw item. Why even have us choose our house and make a big deal about all the crates being "your houses theme!"? Bull.... 2. Crate #2 (the gift) was cheap, ALL of the items I wouldn't have paid $1 for, the 4 items that were in the crate that is! Mixed in with all the lovely advertising stuff. More advertisements than actual items. The ads were better quality than any of the items. The last didn't show up. I requested a refund and the support team informed me that they had a new payment system and couldn't process my refund, after waiting 5 DAYS BETWEEN EMAILS (there is no way to speak to a real person) TWO MONTHS TOTAL. They did offer to send the crate after all (late), or give me a credit on my account for more of the cheap crud. Useless! I just want my money back! Do NOT buy from LootCrate. It is by far the worst service I have ever encountered. A scam. Overpriced dollar store items, NO good exclusives, FALSE ADVERTISING about what's in the crates, ATROCIOUS customer service. I cannot honestly say one good thing about this company. BEWARE

I ordered several great deals on "Cyber Monday" (11/27) which according to their website would ship in 3 to 5 days. As of 12/18, my order is still in confirmed status. I contacted customer support via email (which is the only way to contact them), and was told my order "should" arrive by Christmas, but to reach out again if it didn't. So disappointed ...

Our subscriptions are usually received by the 19th of the month. We are still waiting for November’s boxes and it is 12/17 already. I have been told at least 3 different reasons for the delay and dates that it would be to my son’s by that have come and gone with no boxes. This is ridiculous! Horrible customer service.

I had previously ordered from Loot Crate's Vault store, and was fine with my purchases. So I was quite excited when they offered a 55% off Black Friday sale, and placed another order, thinking I was getting a great deal. I continued to feel pleased with myself for all of 48 hours, when they start peppering my email with 70% off Cyber Monday ads. I look at the site again, and barring one item that had gone out of stock, every single thing I ordered was now signifigantly cheaper. Now, I totally understand that discounts change from sale to sale, and I don't get mad when something I bought a couple of weeks back goes on sale for a better price. But this was literally two days apart. My purchased items had not even been put in a shipping box yet, and yet anyone buying them now was getting a way better price. And clearly this was a preplanned set of sales, being such a huge shopping weekend. I feel totally ripped off. I really don't expect most decent retailers to pull that stunt; let's be honest, Black Friday and Cyber Monday are pretty much the same deal at a lot of places, with "extended Black Friday sales", etc. Or different sets of items or services will be sold during each sale. I did do quite a bit of shopping this holiday, and out of all the places I made purchases, only one other place pulled the same thing. So I contacted customer service for both the other retailer and Loot Crate, and asked for the current sale prices to be honoured on my just purchased, not even processed orders. The other seller (Airbiotics) promptly refunded the discrepancy in price to me without fuss, which was great. Loot Crate/Vault responded that they can't change orders or do anything regarding the price... On the items I overpaid for... that are sitting in their warehouse... that they are right that second selling to others much more cheaply. It's pretty insulting, especially as a returning customer making moderate sized orders. If I had known they would be so crummy on the customer service front, I would have reordered the items I originally ordered with some additional items, and had the initial order canceled. Except I did not know if it was even possible to cancel an order, I didn't want to lose my whole order (as some items are for gifts), and I also did not want to get stuck with a whole doubled order. I couldn't find anything helpful in their published info, and there is no one to call for customer service, so I was stuck waiting for a response to my email request. Which ended up being deeply unsatisfying. Obviously they are within their legal rights, but I really don't like feeling like a gambler or a sucker getting played when I make a "sale" purchase from a retailer. Retailers that have either the same sale or different on sale items across the Black Friday weekend are fine and expected. Retailers that honour major drops in price on recently (2 days!) purchased items (Airbiotics, NYX, Target; to name a few I have had good experience with) make me feel like they care about customer service and retention, and that they want their customers to walk away satisfied. I took away the exact opposite feeling from my purchase from Loot Vault; like I was scammed out of some extra money and that they don't care if I walk away happy. After initially feeling like I would be checking them out for fun items on the regular, I am now really disinclined to ever buy from them again, and would only recommend others purchase from them at their absolute rock bottom prices (I mean, I am pretty sure this is all just overstock items from their subsciption service anyway). And don't buy from them on Black Friday 'cause you will be ripped off come Monday.

Horrible. I ordered a crate in June and they claimed they would have it shipped by the end of October. It still has not come and they keep pushing back the shipment dates! It was mid-November now it seems that the crate will come in December. Very disappointing. This will be the last time I order from this company.

Submitted order during August. Month later no update, contacted support and told ticketing system was down and would have to wait 10 days. 10 days later, warehouse issues and order would be dispatched soon. 4 weeks later, dispatch notification. Several days later checked dispatch notification and order cancelled without explanation. Contacted support, told since order had not been dispatched yet had been cancelled and that I should reorder at twice the price. Support refuse to explain why and queries bounced between two people, both claiming I need to speak to other. Terrible company, terrible support.

order placed on 7/23 and was charged right away. Site said shipping takes up to 14 days. Nope more than 2 months later after being lied to many times, they sent partial of order missing at least 2 Anime crates and a few more items. I waited for them to ship the rest and was told if they are out of stock, I will be contacted by them. Now 3 months, still missing crates and more. They replied with a tracking of the partial order and wont do anything about my two expensive crates from the order.....they only shipped me small items. I have filed with the BBB hoping they will send me the rest of my order but I am not holding out for that based on other's experiences.

It's been three months and I've yet to receive the rest of my order. They don't return emails and there is no phone number to reach them at. I've already paid for the items, even already paid the duty charges even. I with they'd just send the items or refund me the cost plus the duty i paid.

Bought 3 months of boxes for my bf's birthday as a trial. Out of 3 boxes in a 3 month subscription one box was damaged, one was late, none of the tracking e-mails were sent unless I asked why I hadn't received them and one box never turned up at which point they made ME call around looking for the thing. In the end it took me two months and a ridiculous amount of e-mails to get a refund. Overall the customer service was poor, sometimes they replied to my messages about completely different issues so they obviously don't read them very carefully. Furthermore they didn't tell me they would be charging me for a further 3 months, I actually checked the welcome e-mail they sent me as I saved it and it's nowhere on there. In fact they didn't even send me an invoice for the money I paid in the first place. I did get this back fairly quickly though, I'm wondering if they knew they shouldn't have tbh. Overall it was a TERRIBLE experience. I've honestly never dealt with such a terrible company before. Avoid like the plague.

I ordered multiple items back on 7/21/17. When I emailed them 3 weeks later I was told that the warehouse was really backed up but the order would be shipped by the end of August. Gave them the benefit of doubt and let it be till the 12th of September. Emailed them on the 12th and was told they would look into the issue.... No response back and I am on the verge of disputing the charges with my bank for no product received! Should have read the reviews before I placed the order.

"Ordering was confusing, it's for a monthly service that offers multiple plan options. One being a one month subscription. This subscription does not end after one month, it continues indefinitely, and is not very clear it will send you recurring charges until the conformation email after you have already made a purchase. Cancelling the subscription is a process that requires to confirm that you are sure multiple times and tries to force you to keep your subscription. The customer feedback survey they offer is broken and does not allow you to submit customer feedback. When I got my tracking number my package did not arrive when it said it would. My package was transferred through two delivery companies, I was not provided a tracking number for the second company and had to track down my own package to see what happened to it. At that time I was informed that my package would be arriving four days later than the tracking number that loot crate provided me. I was unhappy with all of the above and attempted to contact loot crate for a resolution. Loot crate does not have a customer service phone number, online chat or mailing address. The only way to contact them in through a fill-in form that sends them an email which takes hours to get a reply. Their "customer service" was horrific. Honestly if someone just apologized for the inconvenience I would have been fine. Instead customer service blamed me for not reading everything carefully enough, they said that my package was still going to arrive before the deadline on their website so it didn't matter that my package didn't arrive when the tracking number said it would or that I was not provided an accurate tracking number for the second part of my shipping. My complaints about their broken customer service feedback survey was never even replied to or acknowledged. Then customer service scolded me for tracking down my package saying that I was never told to look for my own package, in response to my complaint about having to track down my own package after it was not delivered as expected. Their responses were wrong and incomplete indicating that my messages were skimmed and not really read. When I asked to speak to a supervisor about the customer service. The supervisor ignored my questions about their customer service and indicated she was no longer interested in helping me. To be honest I would have let the stuff that happened go if customer service was decent but they made it so much worse. This company is a joke no wonder it’s failing."

Well I ordered $30 of stuff from the vault where the disclaimer says to allow up to 14 business days for shipping... Over a month later, I've been offered a refund minus a 20 percent restocking fee, and a 30 percent discount off my NEXT order, when I've inquired about my (still) unfulfilled order. They assure me they are understaffed and working overtime to fulfill backed up orders, but can't offer me anything, including an ETA. I'm pretty sure this is a scam to collect restocking fees for profit. Buyer beware.
