My poor review is based solely on customer service. I ordered one item for a small amount (under $20), and 10 days later, I contacted the company to find out if it had shipped. No matter what said to customer service, they ("Josh") just ignored me and sent me links to general shipping information for subscribers (I'm not a subscriber, nor do I have an account). So, I have no shipping information, none seems to be forthcoming, and customer service is essentially ignoring everything I am saying. I loved the idea of Loot Crate and wanted become a subscriber. Knowing how frustrating it is to have to contact customer service, there is absolutely no way I'd do that now. I can curate my own collection of cool stuff without the headache. I tried e-mail first and had to move to live chat because they were so unhelpful. Another reviewer said that they just ignore everything you say when you contact them and just give you a "copy and paste" response, and that's exactly what I received. I can't believe a company with such poor service is still in business.

I ordered my first crate in November and just recieved it yesterday (February). I contacted them twice about when I could expect to receive it and they gave me a cut and paste answer from their website and said that I would receive a email with tracking information. They then charged my credit card for a second crate at twice the price ($45) they had charged me before. I emailed again, asking for them to refund the money and cancel my subscription since I haven't received my first crate. They then tell me the first one is in the mail and send me tracking info while completely ignoring my refund and cancelation requests. I then ask again, to which they reply by offering me a 30% discount on a 3rd crate! Why the hell would I want a discount on a 3rd when I dont want a second?! This makes no sense! I am now on the 4th cancellation request email and completely frustrated. Will NEVER use this company again and would not recommend it to ANYONE.

Shipping is months late. We received the same product for December AND January (defeats the purpose of a subscription), when we contacted customer service for a refund/exchange of the duplicate box they avoided the query and closed the ticket. I had to get my credit card company involved. I highly recommend you don’t waste your money. Customer service: 0/5 Price: 3/5 Shipping/Delivery: 0/5 Returns and Refunds: 0/5 LootCrate: 0/5

Lootcrate is really hit or miss, some months your box will totally be worth the money, and the next month, it’ll feel a bit overpriced. But the quality is nonetheless quite good. However, the customer service, unlike what lootcrate says, is horrible. I wouldn’t even recommend trying to reach them, just cancel your box if you have a problem, because the customer service team will literally be of no support what so ever, and instead they’ll just arrogantly give you useless information. Also, If you do not live in the United States, (I.e Canada, U.K, etc.) expect delivery to take up to two weeks longer than the regular delieveries. If it was 25 to 35% cheaper, it probably would be worth it.

I purchased a subscription on black friday so I received a 40% discount. I just received the box today febryaury 6th...after purchasing it in November. They originally told me it would ship Jan 1 and I would get a tracking number. The 1st came and went and I reached out to customer service. I was then told the specific Harry Potter box I ordered wouldn't shop until Feb 1 and I would receive a tracking number when it was available. I never received a tracking number but the box showed up today. Smaller than I expected with basically a bunch of crappy knick knacks. I received a ministry of magic visitor t shirt apparently from Crimes of Grindlewald, that I dont recall seeing anything similar in the movies. I also received what they called a picnic mat with a Gryffindor lion. It is basically a piece of fleece with a velcro strap and handle on it so you can fold it up and carry it. I set it down on my carpet to see it and it immediately static clung to everything, so you can imagine how well it will work outside on the ground... Next I received a Luna Lovegood sleep mask, which looks like her spectrespecs. It's ok but quite small so wont keep out much light. The last two items were smaller things. I received a blue theatrical pin. Like the kind you would put on a shirt nor hat or something...also why is it blue? And last but not least, I received travel stickers. There were 4 in the pack, all circular of different scenes and places. Ok, but again...what do you do with them. Since I only paid $25 or so this isn't terrible but I am definitely not happy with the quality of items. I cancelled my subscription because the next box would cost me around $50 after shipping and I just dont think the items inside are even worth that much. I'd rather save my money and buy what I want direct from the source. Not worth it in my book.

Bought a single loot crate that was supposedly Friends themed. It came with a sponge bob 2019 calendar, 2 black mirror items, one futerama mystery item and a pair of friends socks. I was so disappointed and it was a total waste of money. Totally not worth it in my opinion.

Not Worth your money to get a subscription!!! If you see a potential loot crate that peeks your interest get just that single one, cause I guarantee the following boxes with have nothing, then you'll be hit with the charge before you know it, and get more boxes of junk and end up spending $150 for just for one cool shirt and a cool figure. So buyer beware, the subscription plans are a f**king rip-off!!!!

Terrible customer service. Received a Fallout crate for Christmas as a gift from my friend and wanted to continue getting them to complete a 6 piece figure. I asked,since I didn’t order the first crate, would I get a duplicate piece? Seems simple enough to understand.... they emailed me back requesting my info to see my subscription selection..... I don’t have one since my friend ordered this for me. Had to explain that to them 4 TiMeS!!! Asked to speak with a supervisor.... supervisor never contacted me, the incompetent rep I had been dealing with instead emailed me back referring me to the previous emails they sent🤦‍♀️ Missed several promotional deals while waiting for responses, they never offered to make it right. This has been going on since Dec 31, 2018, on Jan 20 I received an email saying this has been forwarded to Management, but I’ve heard nothing since. I’m pretty disappointed that this is how they handle their business. There is no phone number to speak directly with someone only chat or email. Cowards.

It said it was a friends loot crate and I only got one friends item and it also said spongebob of which I only got one item I got a mini blind box from a show I don’t watch and a shirt and I pin from some show I have never herd of and those items were not mentioned I am very disappointed and I will not be purchasing again Also it came 15 days later than it said on website

Normally they're great for me but I had one item that I haven't received months later, and I really wanted this one, and nothing has been done to update it at all. I've tried several attempts at customer service and no one seems to be able to help.

I ordered 2 separate subscriptions for a couple of my kids for Christmas, due to the holidays I figured there may be a little delay and was not overly conabout not getting them before Christmas. However, they have now taken 2 payments for one subscription and 3 payments for the other and I have yet to receive ANY of the boxes. Every time I check the shipping updates it pushes it back yet again. I sent an email to customer service and they never even responded. The new shipping date is now showing March 1st which means yet another payment would be charged before I receive anything. I understand delays but when I order something in November and don’t receive it before March and yet they continue to take money this is not a good business! I worry about canceling the subscription because they have taken so much I am worried they will not deliver the ones I have paid for, yet they won’t respond when I ask. Definitely do NOT recommend this company.

I was unsatisfied with the products in my box and found that paying $35 for a box that contained only one item I liked seemed unfair. I asked for a refund and was denied because they "currently do not offer refunds if you do not connect 100% with the box." I didn't even connect 15% and that money is wasted and I'm stuck with items I 100% do not want.

I ordered my first box on a half off deal they offered in December. It is now January 30th and not only have I not received my box, I haven’t received any kind of correspondence from Loot Crate about the status. I’m very disappointed and won’t be maintaining my subscription.

Ordered Subscription in mid November. Was told I didn't order in time for that month. Now I'm being told I won't get a crate until mid February. 3 months to get a subscription box seems ridiculous. Curious if i'll get anything at all.

Sham. Still haven't deliverd my product after 3 months and won't refund. Keep telling me to refer to their shipping schedule. Don't be fooled!!!!!

I ordered the GoW lootcrate from them when it came out and I didn't open it for a couple months and when I did the hoddie had a busted stitch and I had a duplate of one not the dye. I requested replacements and was told that it was processing. A month later they tell me it's still processing and will take another month or two. Never received any confirmation or tracking. I gave up and a few months later I demanded an explanation and they finally told me that my order was labeled as OUT OF STOCK and I was out replacements. They waited 6 MONTHS to tell me that my replacements couldn't be processed. UNACCEPTABLE! I will NEVER do business with them again! The worst business I've ever had with online purchases!

Great idea for a subscription box, but their product service / delivery is subpar. Why does my December box arrive in January? Why is it the 27th and my January box hasn't even shipped yet? Why don't I even receive a tracking number for a box until I reach out to customer service to ask why the crate hasn't been shipped? It's a mystery, and I will never buy the crate as a gift again -- it simply makes me look bad.

Same as the other customers describing here. It worked well until September and suddenly for 4 months no more crates, no more tracking emails and a "helpful" support who I think now only tries to delay. Something happened to this company middle of 2018. Before they were reliable. Not anymore
