Contacted love holiday as I’ve booked a holiday for me my wife and our 17 year old daughter. Upon booking we were allocated a standard room for £2750. Just contacted them to say I’m looking at the upgrades and want to know the difference between a double room and the standard. She said the double has 2 beds and the standard has 1 bed. Said sorry I’m confused, we are expected to share a bed with our 17 year old daughter. She said yes a lot of our customers don’t mind and we are diverse and do not discriminate. Never heard so much rubbish for ripping you off. Said this is not normal and surely there should be a disclaimer when booking to say all 3 of you are in the same bed. Replied there are customers who don’t mind so we cater for them. If I want an extra bed they want an extra £1142.57 or for me to cancel they want nearly £1300. If someone from love holidays is reading this you should be utterly ashamed ruining people holidays before they get there and if they cancel stealing from them. There’s no way we can go and share a bed with our daughter who’s a young woman. Loveholidays please reply to state you think this is normal and you dont need to advise when booking as you “provide to a large audience and do not discriminate”. This is morally wrong. We are not in cult. People get arrested for this kind of thing and your classing it as diversity. Hang your head in shame. Can’t believe I’m left having to take legal action over 3 in a bed in 2023. Imagine one of your kids came home and said my 17year old friend shares a bed with their mother and father. Would you think they were diverse or would you be contacting social services because there’s something really wrong with them. I have the conversation screen shotted if anyone want to see how little they care and thinks this is fine.

If I could zero stars I would. Booked a holiday through Loveholidays agent. Looked at hotel offering twin or double bedrooms. The agent via telephone assured me that I could get the double bedroom for £100 extra, so I booked as didn't want a twin. Turned up at the hotel and they only do twin rooms - they have never had double beds. I contacted Loveholidays the day I checked in to advise of the situation and ask for a refund of the difference in room price, because if I had known that they were all twins I wouldn't have paid extra. Their advertising is completely incorrect. I was told that they don't do refunds. I stated that I have paid for a service that doesn't exist. I asked for the complaints procedure or to speak to a manager. The agent denied my request saying the manager would tell me the same thing. Again I asked for the complaints procedure which she wouldn't give me - she just told me to contact the 'post holiday' team on my return. Which I did. They then denied the fact that I had contacted them during the holiday making my complaint invalid!! I sent them screenshots of the conversation as proof which they ignored and never replied to me. Love Holidays falsely advertise accommodation, take extra money and then refuse to refund a service you didn't even get! Shocking. I will NEVER use again and advise against anyone else using this bunch of fraudsters either.

I have always used Loveholidays. Always been my favorite until now. Unfortunately my booking has been changed ending up on me loosing one day of my planned days due to a "flights change".. I would arrive early to my destination and return late afternoon (7 days booking to Cyprus)...so, the first day of my holiday has been moved to the second day making me loose one day and more because they have put me on a flight to arrive at the destination really late at night and returning very early in the morning... Unfortunately I had to cancel it after realizing that aI would be loosing 3 days out of 7. A refund of £63 or a difference of £55 to have that first day added back to my holiday with still a bad timing return flight (very early in the morning)... But the most annoying think comes now. The package with the same flights, dates, time and company that I had choose initially are still available on Loveholidays... That just makes me believe that they have some ways to make more money out of costumers and I cannot trust it anymore.

Love holiday changed my flight from Saturday to Sunday which I reluctantly accepted only to be charged for changing the hotel . They charged £194 extra even though they are advertising the holiday on their website cheaper than what I originally booked. Be careful when booking with this company in advance . Never Again. I will be contacting Watchdog and Trading Standards, whilst likely never come off anything they are an utter utter scam.

Do not trust this company. We booked a package all inclusive holiday with a sea view room, when we arrived at the destination airport there was noone there to transfer us to our hotel. I tried calling Love holidays and couldn't get through to anyone. It was after midnight, and the hotel was over 100km away. We ended up having to get a taxi which was on a meter, it cost us €180 just to get to our hotel. Upon arrival it was like they weren't expecting us, I had seen other reviews saying the restaurant provided a meal/sandwiches etc when you arrive but everything was closed. The room we were given was not the see view we had booked but a carpark view instead. We spent 2 nights in that room (out of 5 total) until the hotel were able to move us to a sea view room. The hotel had no record of the additional payment I made to secure a sea view room. On our first day I got into a live chat with Love Holidays regarding our issues. The lady was very blunt and unhelpful about our issues, she said the hotel needed to sort the room, and the transfer didn't show on our booking (she said I specifically opted out of a transfer, which i know i didnt do) and couldn't be added for the return to the airport. She told me we had to make our own way back to the airport. When I told her we couldn't afford that she said it wasn't their responsibility and ended the chat. The place we visited and the hotel we stayed in were beautiful, but Love Holidays really tainted experience and caused up quite a lot of worry.

** I DO NOT RECOMMEND BOOKING WITH LOVE HOLIDAY* What an awful company to book a holiday with, not only did I pay over £500 for a holiday a few days before I was supposed to fly I was then told I had to £25 per seat £40 for a suitcase this was only one way so had to pay again for the flight home ! When speaking with a lady trying to sort the problems out she couldn’t have cared less and disconnected the call, what a joke of a company, i have to print my own boarding pass which isn’t an issues from the UK but in a foreign country where do I go and get board passport printed out ? Haha. So decided not to go and lost £500 as they wouldn’t issue any refund

My experience with love holidays.. Sadly my partner lost a baby at 21 weeks, we were devastated so i decided to book a holiday to Turkey on their pay monthly plan which would give us something to look forward to. I clicked to purchase and was immediately asked to pay the full balance of £4200. There'd been a mistake or glitch on their website and I couldn't afford to pay outright and would never have mistakenly purchased this. I panicked and rang them straight away. After being on hold for hours and passed from person to person it was explained to me that the holiday was contracted and the cancellation fee was £2200 which would cover the cost of the flights. I explained that I still wanted the holiday but on the terms of the pay monthly plan. They told me that this was not possible and after me arguing my case that this was a website error or glitch and explaining the horrendous situation our family was currently going through They battened down the hatches and refused to help me. Instead asking for screen shots and recordings/proof of me clicking the pay monthly plan. Who the hell would do that at the beginning of a purchase?! I have never been more furious with anything or anyone in my life. Not only did they try and scam me into paying upfront they had zero compassion for the situation after me explaining that a) this wasn't my fault it was theirs and b) we'd lost our baby boy. They were so dissmissive and rude, can still hear Falicias tone on the phone to this day. Horrid company and people. I told them i couldn't afford to pay upfront and was told to get a credit card and put it on that. Shocking. I argued that I wouldn't pay it and they explained they'd pursue me all the way to court for the money. I felt pretty broken at this point as you could imagine so I gave in and paid the full balance as I couldn't risk a ccj. In the end we were lucky as the airline went bust so we had a full refund. A lucky escape but the experience leading up to that was relentlessly stressful. Obviously I'd never use this company again and always do my best to discourage anyone thinking of going on holiday thats considering love holidays. How they're still trading beggers belief. I just hope that the owners one day face hefty prison sentences. shocking!

Avoid this company, terrible customer service! I booked a package holiday to Egypt with this company, and as I was adding extras, the price was going up accordingly(ie baggage and transfers) BUT once I had hit the 'book now' button, the confirmation email came with no breakdown of the price just the hotel price and flight price. The booking confirmation from the airline came through with no hold luggage booked on, also there was no transfer voucher! I tried to contact them by phone, but you cannot until its within 28 days of departure. So when I did manage to get through to speak to someone, I explained that of course I would book baggage and transfers when booking, they kept me on hold for around 2.5 hrs until they closed. I was assured that i would get a call the next day but nothing. So I had to pay again to the airline for the baggage and book and pay for my own transfers. If I could give zero stars i would. At least Dick Turpin wore a mask when he robbed you! NEVER AGAIN

AVOID!!!!!! THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. Wanting a cancellation fee of £599 even though their has been a death in the family and we can no longer attend. No empathy and the customer service people are rude. I have spoken with Marcus, Zizi, Andrew, Anatasia and Aloni in the space of 1 hour being passed from pillar to post. Refusing to cancel the booking unless I pay. Legal team involved and I have a strong case. Book with a different company!!!!!!!!!

We booked a hotel, all inclusive in Tunisia with Love Holidays. Firstly, we later discovered that the airline Nouvelair was totally unreliable and had a reputation for being so. Our holiday started at Gatwick where we checked/in at 5.00 pm for our 7.20 flight. At 7.25 the airport board showed “gate to be given at 20.50” !!! Then continued with “20.55, then 21.00, then 21.10 - eventually we took off at 10.25 !!!!!!!!!!!! No apology - indeed “NO ANNOUNCEMENT AT ALL FROM THE CAPTAIN”. We arrived into CARTHAGE AIRPORT and waited almost one hour before our booked “shuttle coach” left. We drove for 2 hours before being-dropped at hotel at 4.15 !!!!! Later to discover there was a much closer airport. The hotel was absolutely unbelievable and we discovered so many different prices paid to Love Holidays for the same holiday. Love Holidays are not to be trusted and we will NEVER book with them again and advise you to “think” before booking with this totally disreputable company

we booked a holiday through love holidays months in advance everything seemed to be fine until due to an oversight on my behalf, we needed to change my partners name on the booking, not the person just the last name so that it matched the recently changed passport after we got married. Loveholidays charged me £490.77 to do this saying they had to cancel the seat on the plane and rebook it at todays prices, which seemed strange to me as i wasn't changing or adding a person, it was the same person different name, I contacted the airline we were flying with and they said that because we had gone through a travel agent we had to deal with them and that if the name on the passport didn't match the name on the boarding pass, they wouldn't allow my partner to fly, so I was held over a barrel! they also said that they only charge €25 for a name change!! when i questioned this with loveholidays they said their supplier said that the cost they gave me of £490.77 was what we had to pay to change the name!!! €25 vs £490.77!! absolutely disgusting. What made things worse is the hotel we were staying at had planned construction at the harbour in front of our hotel, that started at the very begining of the year and is planned until 2024, all we heard all holiday was construction noise, so much for the peace an quiet we were looking forward to! we were woken up at 6:30am by the diggers and it lasted until 6pm at night everyday we were there! when questioned as to why loveholidays didnt tell us about the construction or give us the opportunity to change hotels because of it, they claimed they weren't informed and thet their t&c's state that they accept no liability for 3rd party actions!! i find it incredibly hard to believe that they didn't know about planned work that started 6 months before we got there and is planned until next year! absolutely disgusting travel company will never use again all they want is your money do not care about their customers whatsoever! trying to get hold of someone to talk to for help is a complete non starter. We also tried to book another holiday with them before this happened, to Rome, they took our deposit for the hotel and flight no problem but then emailed to say there was a problem and the hotel wasn't available and to pick another one, each hotel i picked wasn't available, they tried to say i couldn't have a refund because it was my error! after 5 days of trying to speak to someone i finally got the deposit back!

Changed my departure flight time and had paid £50 which was fine no issues with that. So as i booked a package holiday with transfers i needed to amend my transfer time (one way only) as my flight will arrive 3 hours earlier. I orginally followed the advice to contact the transfer company myself and they were very understanding and warned me that loveholidays will want to charge me for it even though they can make the change very quickly as my holiday is in 5 months. But they kindly advised they were not allowed to as loveholidays dont authorise them to make changes. I contacted loveholidays and was charged £95 to change my coach transfer time ???? So I said that I would leave it, as taking a taxi to and from the hotel would be cheaper. I was told i couldn't do that and the ONLY options were to pay the £95 or I was told if I wanted to i could cancel but had to settle £700+ to do so THIS TRIP IS FOR MY BIRTHDAY SO £95 LOST, very disappointed as im a regular traveller (travel at least 6 times a year) never had a bad experience with any other company, 1st time using loveholidays and will be my last. Should have stuck to tui and the other companies I use throughout the year.

Travel was good, too. Was clean and well equipped but our view is straight into a bungalow type room 10m away and there is a busy pathway between the buildings. 2 weeks of people staring into our department. Spoke to hotel reception about moving room but no action yet.

Not sure what’s going on with this site - Love Holidays have 4/5 on Trust Pilot from over 111k reviews! I had no issues at all with my booking, which I have just come back from. I did have cause to contact them two or three times - waiting times were as expected for an online company and they were helpful. Most things were manageable online though. I contacted the transfer company and hotel myself to confirm the bookings, just to be on the safe side. Having read a few of the bad reviews, I get the impression that the fault is normally with the reviewer or just a result of unreasonable expectations (one person complained that Love Holidays didn’t have a dedicated rep in their hotel!!), so if you’re reading this and unsure whether to book, I have nothing bad to say about them - they got the job done. I would book with them again if the holiday and price were right.

They left us abandoned in Crete at 2am with no help when we couldn’t access to our hotel room . Takes ages to get through to someone who patronises you , makes false promises and has no empathy for your situation . Didn’t resolve my problem .
