“Fake Fake Fake! Do not book with LoveHolidays. They are not ATOL protected and will refuse refund if anything goes wrong. They are advertising hotels inaccurately! We arrived at our hotel and it was nothing like the photos or descriptions. We were unstable to stay there, it was appalling. We made a complaint, but we got nothing back in return. No refund. They just brush it under the carpet and make it out that you're liar. No accountability or anything. They were on the hotels side even when we presented them with photo evidence. Bunch of fraudsters!!”

“Hi , Booked with love holidays , received confirmation 3 days later , the date had changed to two weeks later , there is no way we would have booked them date due to work commitments and child care . Obviously contacted them straight away to either get this amended asap , to be told we can but will be charges ,as holiday has now gone up to an extra £1000 . My self and partner sat and booked the holiday together so we know we didnt make a mistake . I have cancelled any further payments to them via my bank , thankfully will only lose the deposit , im now in a dispute with them . Hs this happened to anyone else ? i done some research online and have found two other people this has happened too :( Either there online bot is very clever to amend dates or this is a total scam .”

“Booked a package holiday to Turkey with Loveholidays. It was the first time I used this company to book a holiday. The booking process was easy and simple to complete. Confirmation of flights, transfers and accommodation were immediately confirmed on payment. Documentation, information re: flights, transfers and accommodation was clear and explicit. We flew from Dublin to Izmir, Turkey on the 23/12/2023. We had clear instructions re: connecting with our transfer driver, however we were met in the Airport Arrivals Hall by the driver. He was displaying a notice with my name and the names of another passenger group. I identified myself to the driver, he instructed us to wait in the Arrivals area until the other passengers arrived. We waited approximately 15mis, the other passengers did not show up. He escorted us to the car park, loaded our luggage, we boarded the bus, he then left us alone in a dark car par, while he returned to the airport to search for the other passengers, returning approximately 30mins later, not having located the passengers. He then left the car park with us, travelled back through the airport arrivals area, still trying to locate the missing passengers. The driver then proceeded to leave the airport, we mistakenly thought we were at last on our way to our hotel in Kusadasi! until he suddenly parked the bus at the side of a road. We began to fear for our safety, it was midnight, there was nobody else traveling with us or nobody around. I asked the driver why we were parked there and he replied he was waiting for another passenger from another flight! We waited approximately 15 mins while he made a few phone calls. We did not know what to expect next! We did not even have the option of abandoning the transfer and hiring a private taxi to transport us to Kusadasi as we were well away from the airport, in unfamiliar territory, nobody around and it was after midnight. I asked how long more do we have to wait, he replied 5 mins. Soon after that he informed us we would be changing vehicles. Another driver and vehicle arrived and we started our journey to Kusadasi. We were the only passengers aboard. The return journey to the airport was perfect apart from not being informed of the pick up time.early. The Transfer Company involved was MTS Globe Turkey. I filed a complaint to loveholidays when I returned home, they passed my complaint onto the transfer company who dismissed the issue and stated what we experienced was “normal”. Loveholidays did apologise. I paid €107 for this return transfer for 2 adults. I certainly would expect a reasonable standard of service, not the service we received on our transfer from Izmir airport to. Kusadasi and what MTS Globe Turkey offers as a “normal” standard of service. The experience left both of us stressed and disillusioned. We stayed at rhe DERICI Hotel in Kusadasi for 7 nights on a B&B basis. The location of the hotel is excellent with superb views. The hotel staff are exceptionally courteous, friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean. It could do with a little updating and refurbishment. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, however the beds are very hard. The breakfast is o.k. Not a lot of choice but certainly edible. I would definitely consider staying at The DERICI Hotel again. Apart from the terrible experience we encountered with the transfer from the airport to the hotel every other segment of our booking was very good. I would be leaving a 5 star rating in this review if we haven’t had this awful experience with MTS Globe Turkey I don’t think we will be booking any future holidays with loveholidays.ie Further update: To add insult to injury Loveholidays replied to my review on Trustpilot informing me the issue was still under investigation. I received an email today from Loveholidays informing me that they are now closing the case as the issue is out of their control. I repeatedly asked if they considered the standard of service we received from their service provider MTS Globe Turkey was acceptable, I never received a reply to that question! I am assuming that Loveholidays accepts that Fearing for our Safety during our transfer from Izmir Airport to Kusadasi is an acceptable standard of service. As I already stated it was my first booking with Loveholidays and it certainly will be my last. I have traveled the world, travelled to Turkey on several occasions, used transfers from airports, never once did I fear for my safety until 23/12/ 2023.”

“oveholidays is the most disgusting and unprofessional company ever. I would never use them again or recommend them. Myself and my two friends booked a city break to Milan with this company. We chose to pay in three instalments, which we paid in full before the trip. Up to two days before date of travel, we were receiving holiday reminders by email and confirmation emails of the trip. We got on our flights to Italy and then got to the hotel. Only to be told that Love holidays cancelled the booking 10am the day before with no phone call. We was left stranded in Italy with no accommodation and not knowing what to do. After multiple phone calls to the loveholidays emergency line with multiples team members who was giving us the run around. They said there was an issue with the first payment made of £87. Although, the other payments of over £1000 had already been taken. No one alerted us to this or got in touch. We begged for help and even offered to pay an extra £87 although we had already paid this when original booking was made. They said they cannot assist us further and then each call we made for more assistance they began putting us on hold or just hanging up on us. We had to pay to get an Airbnb and travel further into Italy just so we could have somewhere to stay. Love holidays are refusing to now refund the money for the hotel even though we did not cancel this booking. Absolutely disgusting. Please AVOID this company and read through proper reviews about this scammer company.”

“This site is not reliable. I have booked a resort in Hurgarda for November, a two bedroom apartment for my family of 5. we selected this apartment on the loveholidays website after seeing the images provided by the resort. when we arrived they told us that they didn't have any apartments, and they gave us a standard room where there wasn't room for all of us. loveholidays instead of admitting that they had deceived us, said that the resort had done the right thing and that they had given us what we had paid for and that therefore they would not give us a refund or change the hotel. an absolute disgrace for the resort and for loveholidays, unprofessional and unreliable. And contacting them is impossible to say the least, terrible customer service. And we were not the only ones to suffer this scam, because on the same day of our arrival another couple also had the same misfortune and loveholidays neither refunded nor changed the hotel. "the mystery of the non-existent apartments" The resort is the Royal Lagoons Acquapark. be wary of the site and the resort. We've been through two weeks of hell! Date of experience: 30 November 2023”

“Avoid this business. They're scammers and evade any responsibility. I was asked to pay £505.76 for a holiday I'm canceling due to issues beyond my control even though the holiday is still 4 months away. I also confirmed that the flight has not been paid for and the hotel has not been booked. Even with the cancellation fee of £75 they want me to pay an extra £217 after paying an initial £288. This isn't my first booking with them, and it's utterly absurd, heartless, and blatant thievery.”

“Due to me being primary carer this was my the first family holiday in five years. Due to issues with air traffic control and then technical issues with the flight my family and I were delayed for three days. I contacted Love Holidays office to assist with the booked transfer company and they didn’t want to know. They kept citing we are only the booking agent. I asked them whether they could inform the hotel that we were going to be late and guess what they were only broker couldn’t help me. I contacted them to make a claim but yes you’ve got it you ignored my letters and claim. AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!!Love Holidays is an absolute disgrace. I will never never use their company again. They are shambolic. Shame on them”

“DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! All the other review sites will tell you about this company that it's utterly a scam and shambles!! DO NOT BOOK IF YOU WANT A SECURE AND ASSURED HOLIDAY. Booked a holiday, due to ill health and family emergency we were unable to go phoned LOVE holidays 3 times a day to organise a new date or refund all the time bring fobbed off by atrocious customer service and no understanding that we needed to be at the hospital.....these things happen right but all the time being told there is nothing they can do will have to wait for a team to email or get back to you which they never do. What is disgraceful is that even up to days before our booked departure date we were still awaiting what was happening??? In the end no holiday no money back and no care in the world from them. How can humanity behave like this when people have gone into hospital etc. DISGUSTING!”

I have no idea how this company is still in operation, they lack ethics and morals!! a complete money grabbing scam. “Worst travel agents i have used. Within a couple of days of booking a holiday via love holidays I had received an e-mail stating that i was flying from the UK to Lanzarote and that i should check my passport had 6 months validity after date of return to UK (no other requirements were mentioned). I checked my passport did actually have 6 months validity after the date of return to the UK and was under the impression that I had met relevant criteria to travel. I was turned away at the departure gate at Birmingham airport due to new EU passport rules imposed which were different to the e-mails sent to me by Love Holidays. Love Holidays responded to this by saying it is not their responsibility to check passport validity. My point is that i booked my holiday via travel agent, i followed their advice to the letter and yet I was denied a holiday with my daughters and also any kind of financial refund by the travel agent. The Love Holidays post booking confirmation e-mail was misleading and led me to believe that i had fulfilled all the travel criteria, Love Holidays should have some responsibility for this matter but instead seemed indifferent.”

“scammers . fraudsters . avoid at all costs . did change of passangers. they cancelled original flight and booked new without prior approval . increased the cost from £2,300 for original holiday to £5,050 and charging for 2x holidays now 2x hotels , 2x transfers and still 2 people going . now want £2,400 to cancel the holiday and £631 already been paid . customer services is appalling . they hang up on you and close any online queries . 3 weeks now and still to resolved . avoid this company or loose your money”

“you name it it went wrong towel/food/filth/tired hotel /didn't get was was advertised/curtains falling down/sun bed collapsed/customer services abysmal but the biggest let down when we returned £3000 lighter loveholidays did absolutely nothing and basically said tuff”

“ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE COMPANY I urge everyone to stay clear. This has caused so much stress as we are getting charged more and more because of the add on of two children they will not answer their phones and emails and REFUSE to refund unless we pay the refund fee that cost more than the holiday! I can not afford this. I have contacted lawyers who also do not know what to do. I beg if anyone knows anything that might help me get out of this situation It would mean the world if you shared it, looking at these other reviews has scared me as none have a good ending. Good luck to all that use love holidays”

“Whatever you do don't book the Venus beach hotel in paphos. It is no way a 5 star hotel. Very noisy Loud mouthed guests . Building site next door. Not value for money. I complained and guess what ,they denied everything. Never use Love Holidays again.”

“Love Holidays used a transfer company on my recent trip to Riga I was badly let down by them. The transfer company wanted to change my pick up time at the hotel but couldn't say what time and I was to check the hotel car park to keep a look out for the driver who would not even come into the hotel. I managed to get a taxi to the airport one can imagine the stress. On my return home I checked the transfer company's reviews one star out of nine with with similar experiences to mine, where was Love Holidays due diligence, never again !!!!”

“d Oct 13, 2023 Verified NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY. Due to a very last minute family emergency, we were unable to fly to Malta on Monday afternoon 9th October '23 with Love Holidays on our scheduled package holiday. On Monday morning (9th Oct) , I spoke to an Advisor to enquire if we could fly out to Malta on the following day (or at any time during this week) at our own expense . I was advised that as we hadn't flown out with Easy Jet on our scheduled day/flight and checked into the hotel, we were unable to do this and would have to forfeit our whole holiday. This means that our room at the hotel would have been empty for the whole week and I suspect that Love Holidays has been able to claim back a full refund for this. I do not understand why we could not have simply flown over the following day, at our own expense, and enjoyed the remaining days at the hotel and our holiday. After submitting a complaint to Love Holidays, I was advised to make a claim on my travel insurance. I had planned to take out insurance the day before we were due to fly to Malta, however due to the family crisis that I was dealing with at the time, I was unable to do this and it in any event, under the circumstances this may have been deemed as Insurance fraud. The outcome being that I have lost £1500.00 with Love Holidays possibly claiming back a full refund for the hotel room that we have not used. I feel overwhelmingly disappointed as this was a long awaited and much needed holiday for my daughter and myself. PROCEED WITH GREAT CAUTION IF USING THIS COMPANY .”

“We booked a holiday through this company The room was full of ants and in the bed. And also when we woke up in the morning, there was drugs everywhere around the hotel. Everyone smoking drugs around the swimming pool in front of children. Absolutely appalling this company is very hard to get hold of”
